Make sure you're in the right phase for him!
I remember once I camped him for like a week on one of my hunters only to realize I hadn't quite finished the quests in Mount Hyjal that phased me over and made him visible.

Are you Alliance or Horde?
I checked on my Alliance hunter on Earthen Ring, and he's there right now. I have a 100 Hordie there, a trial character I made to help someone else who was lower level than that. I don't know if a 100 can pull a 110 to their realm. I don't know if phasing would have an impact, because obviously a trial toon wouldn't have any quests done there, but I'd try
