I've been leveling a void elf hunter and I have been on the lookout for good pets to go along with the dark/void/shadow theme, beyond the starter void-stalker pet.

Wanted to start a thread to collect suggestions.

The ones I've found so far that I think fit the theme are:

• The two purple Manasabers
• Shadowcrazed Marsuul
• Shadowcrazed Chitinbuk
• Arcane Purple Draenor Boar (glowing purple eyes, weird spikes, fits really well)
• Shadowy Draenor Wolf
• Teal-black Raven
• Black Raven in BFA?
• Black Nightsaber
• Dark Purple Spiked Crab w/ Purple Markings (e.g. from BFD)
• Purple Nether Ray
• Purple Mana Ray
• Blue Spiked Raptor
• Violet Mana Wyrm
• Purple Arcane Wyrm
• Purple Draenor Sporebat
• Purple Warden Owl

Looks others have suggested in the thread:

• Black Diematrodon (has a purple fin)
• Black Scarab w/ Magenta Spots (BFA)

Does anyone else know of any other good dark / void themed pets, whether available now or coming in BFA?

Looks like a fairly solid list to which I don't really have anything to add, but maybe color scheme-wise, some of these pets might be a nice fit:










Some of these might not be tameable, but if they are, they would make some pretty nice pets for a Void Elf, I think.

For a Void Elf, I think the purple dreamrunner/horse2 is the dream. Fits perfectly.

What about the Purple Boss Wasp, Magenta Firefly and Arcane Hippogryph? The last two may be a little too light but the Boss Wasp is perfect imo.

All great suggestions, I'll add them to the list in the OP! I like the purple Quilen especially, the sheen it has makes it look sort of void-ish even though I think it's just supposed to look like Jade

It's not a pet itself, but Machine Fluid can make your pets more shadowy. It provides the special effect that you can see on the oil-stained wolves in Borean Tundra.

I wonder what pets would look best with that effect. Probably just any that look corrupted somehow like aberrations or just black colored normal beasts would be best I guess.
