Old World level changes?
Site has King Krush listed as level 75 in Sholazar. Just flew by him on my level 65 hunter and he is showing at 68.
Not sure if his level will increase as I level up-I will check here in a few if he is still up once I level some more.

Re: Old World level changes?
His level will change, yes. Rares are 2 levels higher than your level, or than the 'maximum level' of the zone, whichever is lower.
This means that taming is going to become a real bear, since no hunter will be able to tame most rares in even the earliest zones until they are level 62.'
P.S.: seeing Sholazar called 'Old World' hurts me.

I thought it had been changed so that you could tame a mob 2 levels higher than yourself?
A bit of palindromic wisdom:
"Step on no pets!"
Casual player.. don't raid, don't PvP. Suffer from extreme altitis
I love pets - combat or non.

Re: Old World level changes?
For some, but I've run into some inconsistencies along the way. Manas couldn't be tamed until 62 as an Old World rare, Savage I could tame fine at 80, but an elite mob in Draenor couldn't be tamed until 102. As a general rule of thumb, I avoid taming rares until I know I'm high enough before actively looking for them. Can't deal with that disappointment.
Taming two levels above us would be so nice, though. We can scale a beast from 10-110 in one go, but we cannot bring them a couple levels lower. It seems a little strange, really.

Did it? I hadn't seen anything, but I may have missed that! I hope I missed it, if so.Sukurachi wrote:I thought it had been changed so that you could tame a mob 2 levels higher than yourself?
