Falconer's Pack

Unread post by Falconer »

So Im currently a lvl 48 BM Dwarf and here is my faithful crew.
Maugrim - wolf
Talon - owl
Cranky - turtle (Cranky Benj)
and my really fast unnamed ram
I just bought another stable spot and Im contimplating my next pet. I like the natural, "realistic" pets, so maybe a boar or something. Any thoughts?

Nice group! ^^

I'd second the Boar idea, they're awesome little creatures and they certainly suit Dwarves well.

Thanks! I cant decide on which skin. Either a nice black boar or one of the armored ones. Hmm...

Bears are the most typically dwarvish pet there is if you ask me. Plus they are handy for tanking multiple mobs and easy to feed.

I had a white bear a while ago and i kinda regret letting him go, but I just wasnt feeling him and he was stabled all the time. I keep my guys on pretty regular rotation, so the all level with me. I really wish we had a better snake skin. I have snakes in real life and was kinda disapointed by the big colorful cobra thingy's.

Yeah, i wish they'd make the plain python models tameable (like the ones in WC). I'd love to see a skin with a ball python type of patterning. :3

The blue armored one is by far my favorite boar :)

Aye, my favourite boar too. A least until they release a new model/skin.

I also exist on DeviantArt.

So I added a boar to my pack!!! He leveled up fast, but was still unnamed up until just now. I just ran Zul'Farrak for his initiation instance and we had the s@#$iest tank ever. It was a mess. Finally he took off, lost us and proceeded to get himself killed, then cussed out the healer for not saving him and refused to respawn. So we ran the rest of it without him and my new boar stepped up to the plate. He was kickin ass and taking names. Everyone kept commenting that my boar was far better at tanking than that other guy and we blew threw the rest like butter. So I give to you, Tank. Not to original, but rightfully earned.

Grats on showing up the tank with your new pet. I'm amazed the group co-operated with the idea. If you don't mind, what dungeon was it?

It was Zul'Farrak and we had already had gotten as far as the stair battle. It wasn't really their idea, it just happened. We were all standing around waiting to if the tank was coming back and we decided to kill dudes while we waited. I said I'd pull mobs, so I turned on growl, sent in the boar and called him back. He pulled full agro, I healed him and laid down a flow of ammo and that was that. He was designated the tank for the rest of the run. He's lvl 50 btw.
