Fittinig pet for Celandir

Unread post by Karathyriel »

Desperately bored, I did something, I thought I would never ever do:
I rolled an alliance toon! :o
Naturally, it's a hunter, a night elf to be exact.

Now my question is:
What kind of pet should I give him? I just did hit level 10 and wonder what would fit a night elf.
I don't like the owls, I don't like the cats I've seen there so far, I definiteyl will not tame a spider.

Any suggestions?

Ew, no!
I really don't understand why people would tame zombies...
I'm no fan of forsaken hunters either.
Makes no sense in my opinion. Damn roleplayers!

For a Night Elf Hunter you use your bow to pull and melee the mobs down, you don't need a pet.

But if you must get a pet, go with the Flutterer moth so it can flutter around while you do backflips all over the place.

Hmmm...
Somehow...
Hmmm...
Well...
No, nothing fits my preferences.
 Are there pets who do look good with a night elf?

Edit: Very funny, Anansi...

I think night elves look good with birds, such as eagles, and they also look good with wolves. My night elf hunter has white hair, and a white wolf. Incidentally, What does you hunter look like? If i had something to work from I might find it easier.

Humar looks good with anyone. Same with Ecky. Much more than the normal lion model anyhow.

What else suits a NE...

You could get the ghostly saber. NE and cats go hand in hand, so any of those work.

You could tame a polarbear from Dun Morough without much trouble, if da bears are your thing...
I don't really feel like this is so much the "Post-Modern" era as much as its the "Pre-Zombie-Apocalpse" era. I consider myself more of a forward thinking guy and an era that just won't die is just as feasible as a coming era, where the dead come back.

I do like bears but not on a night elf.

I went (to the barrens) and died (many times) and tamed (a lion)
Humar & Echeyakee aren't easy to get and I'm not the rare-tamer anyway.

Not bad, mate. Not bad at all!

Kind of a sun and moon thing going for you there.

Yeah, I couldn't really decide what to tame and so I took what I thought the least annoying.

Me too -- I like owls and bats, but they're just so darn big, always getting in my way. However:
true, yes, and the very reason I got one for my belf, but I've been very pleased with Diva so far! (Wanted to name her Princess, but couldn't <_< ) They aren't nearly as big as the other flying critters, and she's a vicious little thing to boot

I agree that night elves and cats look great together (mine got a tiger from Durotar), and IMO you picked a good one!
