For those of you who liked the Angered Aarakora Protector, but *didn't* like the ghostliness, I bring you Torgos' new look:



That's the good news!

The bad news? Unfortunately, Torgos is untargetable and unaggroable unless you are on the old quest, so I can't test whether this bad boy is actually tameable yet or not. I'm assuming so, since the skin was changed, but I can't be certain! Can someone who hasn't completed the quest confirm this?

And yes, I did try killing Torgos' mate to see if she would drop her carcass out of the quest. No such luck.

Hopefully they fix it so that he is targetable aslong as you have done the quest as idk if ally need to kill him- do they? [not quested much there on my dwarf before heading to northrend]

But hey, Death Ravager was fixed so perhaps Torgos is in early stages of being fixed to be targeted/tamable by any/all?

The fact that I have done the quest is exactly why I *can't* test it. Yep. Alliance can do it. But if you've done it, you've done it. He's still untargetable to me both in the air and on the ground. .... or rather, I can target him, but not interact with him (even Beast Lore doesn't recognize him as a beast).

UPDATE: I'm seeing if I can find a premade or quest-deficient helper who doesn't mind a little questing, in case I can't find someone here.

With the help of a lovely warrior called Keesie, I was able to get the questline done. And yep. As I suspected, he is tameable.

Hee, when I read the title my mind jumped to that blue/white ice cat model...alas, nothing yet. But this is still really cool! ^^ It's good that there's a non-ghost version of this skin now. I'm one who isn't fond of ghostly see-through pets for the most part.

All I can think now is that we tame Torgos by first killing his wifey, then taunting him with her corpse, and finally trapping him and somehow making him love us. What is this, The Count of Monte Cristo?
