Dawn of the Blessing OOC

Should we allow three typings for a pokemon? (IE Fire/Grass/Flying)

No. We've always had it at two, let's keep it. Besides, it might get OP.

Yes. Change is good, it gives a wider variety. It won't be that bad.

ergh, i'm so sorry i went quiet for a while. stress through the roof from many factors (douchewad neighbors being major part of it) caused a splitting headache and nausea so i'm going to be unavailable for the rest of the night till i can shake this horrible splitting headache. feel free to put saoirse and ciar on autopilot till i'm well enough to come back, whenever that may be. sorry again, guys..

Ok, so my friend came up with a little idea which would cause SOME damage to the house, but not near as much damage as burning it or burying it, plus it would be quite a threat to the Pokemon inside for a little while (at the very least, might force the hybrids outside.) Water?

They could spray water jets into the house, which would wash them out for a little bit. An idea.

Flooding the house does seem like a good idea. Least amount of damage, plus it 'flushes' the hybrids and stuff out.

If worst comes to worst and we have to rely on a cliche method, I volunteer Vanilla to be kidnapped. I had been planning on having Sin and her meet, so it wouldn't harm any ideas I have.

Thank you Azu for putting that better than I. I really don't want to cause people a lot of stress over this, far from it. Don't feel guilty if you want to say no. If anything I feel bad that, unknowingly or not, I caused a lot of stress for people about something they care for in a way that triggers some very real anxiety issues. Harrier doing something tricky is in no way important and you should not feel bad about asking me to stop if it's actually making you stress.

*Scratches noggin* I'll... have to think on what else can be done though, if the house is untouchable outside of maybe a broken window or two.

.... Perhaps Harrier and maybe Sam can play the injured wing trick. (Assuming he's cool with getting his gorgeous black feathers a little dirty, maybe a little scratched if he's not quick). They get out of the house with a couple of angry parents following, head to the Village Bridge/Nearest city. ((Sorry, Moon is dumb and can't remember Unova geography.)) Cry out for help, claiming that they're being attacked by berserk abnormals. Draw a few of the Ekleipsis there attacking them, they fight back but act like it's a self defense thing.
Again, this comes from being unfamiliar with what happened in the Battle for the Bridge, but I'm unsure on how the residents feel about the pokemon family. But I'm betting that at the very least, the Blessing has been spreading rumours. These folks just want to be safe. And while some of them may enjoy the company of Terrakion, GTM and co., their family is more important, and it's just less risky to comply with what the Blessing are saying. Besides, they do get into fights quite often, maybe what they're saying about Hybrids and other abnormals is true...

Furthers the goal of alienating the good guys from the general populace, leaves the house intact while putting pressure on the group to leave it behind, makes the stakes a little more personal for the group. (They got us kicked out of *our* town and turned *our* neighbours against us!)

Flooding the place could work too, if we don't mind doing something to the house and ignoring water damage being a thing.

@ Falcon: Completely understandable, and I can sympathise with the douchebag neighbours. I lived beside some pretty not-great people for a number of years. I hope you're feeling better sooner rather than later, take it easy. <3

Ohhhhhhh the bridge HATES the Pokemon. I am serious. They were noisy, didn't make an effort to stop damage to the bridge (but we evacuated you guys! You are safe! D:)

Basically, they aren't the biggest fans. (Unless Im wrong. Senna?)

...This could be a brilliant idea and I see it working out well, then. Especially if people aren't a fan of the Bridge dwellers. (you moved north and now you're BACK ON OUR BRIDGE WTF?) It also prevents house damage and bonus points it furthers the whole goal of trying to isolate the good guys and make them seem like bad guys!

that is an absolutely ridiculous suggestion do you have any idea how long it takes to get those feathers so flawless and pristine Moon DO YOU

But in all seriousness he could do that yeah. Being a manipulative jerk is his thing

Ah, well if that's the case, all the better. This is just the last straw then, those damn pokemon to the north keep bringing trouble, now they're harbouring dangerous escapees. And half of them are half-breeds anyway, probably only a matter of time before they go berserk. Get them out and away from our town once and for all.

Things can be patched over after everything happens.

EDIT: Forums didn't notify me when you posted Silva, but heeee. Sam, your time has come to shine my friend.

Yeah, I love that idea myself, Moon. Since as Honey said, the residents of the Bridge are ungrateful jerkfaces who hate the group that saved them. XP But really, it's brilliant and we should totally go for it.

Okay, sounds like a plan then! House remains upright and not-on-fire, Future-Ekleipsis are cast out of their home for a time and village bridge... villagers... think that they're horrible and attacking those nice Blessing people. They come and check up on us and have afternoon tea and everything. They even help the elderly of the area with a little cleaning, bless them.

I'd be down for that if Senna and TK are cool as well. Sorry if we're holding things up, I was originally thinking they'd get there after the chaos, or the two groups bump into each other as the refugees are escorted north. But just having them poof up to the tower works too.

Nah, it's not too big a deal but I figure that way we can bring them together (plus they get to walk in on CHAOS :D), get the plot kicking a little and you guys don't have to deal with the lovely lovely travel time

I still feel kinda bleh, but I should manage. The headache's gone (for now) thanks to Tylenol. I also like this idea, and I wish to volunteer Saoirse to be one of the angry 'mon who'll chase Sam (unless those 'mon have already been picked, that is?) Sorry for posting late since you guys are discussing the Johto thread now (I've never been that great at discussions). I'm unsure of when to bring either of my Yveltals in yet.

I'd say bring them in whenever. I can say that it's likely they'll go hit up the Blessing camp to investigate, so perhaps they could be chilling somehwere around there? Or maybe outside the tower?

Heheh, good point. Also Venin can freak out a little when she realises that Sol and Ghost are there.

Spoke with Seren, she's doing a little house sitting and doesn't really have access to anything that'll let her post without tearing her hair out. She'll try to get something up tomorrow, but until then Sphinx and Trick are still barreled with asher, presumably farting abotu in Ecruteak for one reason or another.

Don't worry about it Falcon, this is a thread for all discussion, not just one area at a time. XD

Loki's Blessing-aligned, so that wouldn't be the best idea for him, but I could have Veth arrive at the tower, since he's been searching for Catharsis. Now's a good a time as any for a reunion, I say.

Edit: *winces* aaand now I just realized that Azu's last post was probably aimed at Venin and Co., not me. x___x
