Salkier reached down to trace the tracks of the footprint half hidden by the snow pouring down. his breath caught in his throat, and he once again recalled his journey to find the ancient spirit cat known as Gondria. ever since his childhood, Salkier had been excited by the tales of the wild beasts that had been so powerful that they had denied death, and returned in a new form to walk the world of the living once more. but those were nothing compared to the story of Gondria, once a loyal friend and companion, now a free, wild spirit being. ***
suddenly his memory engulfed him and he was back in ashenvale, sent there to train and aid the other night elves like himself. Salkier stalked through the forest, eyes intent. he was about to complete the ritual passed down from hunter to hunter, and find the first beast to share his soul with.
