[Azunara]

Fall of the Gods is an roleplay that takes place in the Pokemon Universe. It is an alternative universe from the prior notable RPs of Wrath of Deoxys and Rise of the Shadows.

Rules:
-I figure most people by now have RP’d by now, but if not, feel free to read the stickied guides on top. They exist for a reason.
-Please avoid god-modding (IE Player 1 stabs Player 2, killing them) is not allowed.
-Please try to have posts that are a decent length. One liners are not okay. But you don’t have to write a novel. While five sentences are optimal, anywhere between 3-5 is acceptable.
-If you have several characters, please try to keep track of them.
-Please try to use some sort of grammar. English may not be your first language, and that is understood, but there are many in browser spellchecks, and even basic capitalization isn’t that difficult. Feel free to ask people to edit your posts if you feel it needed.
-This is self-evident, but please respect each other.
-Please try to post your name and location at the top of the post to keep things straight. (IE Azunara: RP Forum or Sunnybrooke: Ponyville or Solara: Dusk Base.)

Plot (Protagonists):
Arceus has gone missing. No one is sure when it happened, or why it has happened. The disappearance of the God has left an immense power vacuum in its wake. Many Legendaries are vying to fill Arceus’ spot, and become the God of the Universe. Chaos reigns as natural disasters strike the regions, the universe struggling under the chaotic war of the Legends.

With disaster befalling all, several Legends have decided to do something. While their kin wage war, some have withdrawn entirely from the affair, cursing the names of the combatants. Others have chosen to take a neutral stance and try to keep peace amongst the others.

Desperate, these Legends choose to send Champions—Pokémon blessed by their patron Legend in order to serve them—to find the missing God, before the entirety of the Regions succumb to destruction.

Plot (Antagonists):
Long has Giratina suffered in the Distortion World, a warped universe of his own making. Banished there by Arceus, the God has remained, furious and wrathful. The Legend has spent his time brooding, plotting, hating the sunshine of the mortal world and wishing it to be his own.

After months of planning, the Legend strikes. He whisks away the God of Gods, stealing his shadow and dragging the God with it. Trapped in the Distortion World, Arceus is unable to free himself, bound tightly by the twisted death God’s will. With his rival trapped, Giratina plans to reemerge into the Light, and cast the entire world in black shadow, reclaiming his long due reward.

Meanwhile, mortals who feel slighted or are eager to see their Lord rise into power have allied themselves with the Death God. Acting independently or with their Patron, these Champions and mortals are convinced to see Arceus’ permanent fall.

Champions:

The Champions of Legends can be pokemon and human alike. They tend to be mortals who impressed the Legends, and they in turn granted the mortal a bit of their power. This tends to make the mortal far more powerful, altering their appearance and granting some of the Legendary’s powers. They gain the ability to speak with humans and vice versa. They are stronger than any other mortal pokemon. They are far more long lived than most.

Form:

Pokemon RPs tend to be a bit different than most people tend to expect. It allows pokemon to have use any move it can plausibly learn (Learned/Tutor/Egg/Event Moves are okay, but a Charizard knowing Ice Beam or a Infernape using Aqua Pulse is not acceptable.)

Additionally, hybrids (A combination of 2 pokemon) and Delta Pokemon (Pokemon that have an usual type) are allowed as well. However, if you have a hybrid, it can only have two types. A Charizard and a Lucario can only have two types, whether it’s steel/flying or fire/fighting or any possible combination.

Since I'm a little new at this, would it be okay to bombard you with questions? They're mostly "what's this mean?" and "did I label this the right way?" but it'll ease my confusion a bit.

Name: Taini.
Gender: Female.
Age: Young Adult.
Species: Umbryena. (Umbreon/Mightyena)
Typing (For Hybrids/Delta Types): Dark.

Faction (Arceus or Giratina?): Arceus.
Appearance: YAY LINK
Personality: Taini holds a rather reserved personality. She keeps secrets to herself, but is not completely shut off. She will speak of her past, but not as if it's a sob story. While she is stubborn, she will not usually argue against a direct order unless she finds it to be unreasonable. Taini is not all serious either. Even when she's in a serious fight, she'll treat it as a game, which can or cannot be dangerous for her, depending on who she's up against. She is not big on pups and prefers to find her entertainment out of either hunting or dueling other hounds to keep her own skills sharp. She is not emotionless. She knows how to have fun when she wants to. Although her form of "games" can seem different then the rest as she still prefers to duel. The tender side of her is rarely shown. Though she appreciates her mothers sacrifice, Taini does not see herself as a very fitting mother, but she will not deny the feeling of possibly wishing for pups of her own.
History: Taini was born to an Umbreon mother, Silva and a Mightyena father, Dargo. While born in the wild, she was separated from her parents early due a forest fire and was found by a wandering trainer named Raine. Raine raised Taini from a small Poochevee (It's what I call it anyways), to adulthood. Taini, grateful to Raine for raising her, Taini stayed along side her and mostly out of sight of other trainers. Raine did become a target of other Humans with a traveling Carnival, wanting to make money off her for being a hybrid. Her trainer released her in a Pokemon reserve for the time being and went into hiding. Although Raine promised she would return for Taini one day once the Carnies had given up, Taini still waits patiently for any sign of her former trainer.
Notable Abilities: She's not a duel type, but thanks to the fact she's part Umbreon, she can actually use some Psychic type attacks.
Weakness: (Aside from type disadvantge?) Taini is small, so she doesn't carry a lot of physical strength to her. Should she be pinned by a stronger Pokemon, she will start to falter. On top of the dislike for hot, humid weather. Her coat his built for colding weather.

Name: Raijin.
Gender: Male.
Age: Young Adult.
Species: Raichu.
Typing (For Hybrids/Delta Types): Electric.

Personality: Raijin is a VERY cocky and sometimes proud Raichu. He sometimes will boast about his skills of escaping trainers and protecting other Pichy and Pikachu from other hostile Pokemon. He at times seems to be a Pokemon without humilation and there is some truth to that. He has been humilated once before, loosing to a wild Radicate. However, this little event only pushed to become strong. Although arrogant at times, Raijin can still be very loyal to his friends.
History: Raijin is a pure wild Raichu born in the Viridian Forest. He's never once had a trainer, although during his time as a Pikachu, he managed to escape a few trainer attempts and even helped out Pikachu escape the grasps of trainers wishing to capture them. Because of this, Raijin has had no real discipline and therefor, never had to listen to anyone. However, he did loose to a wild Radicate and shortly afterwards failed to help two Pikachu before they were captured by trainers. Due to these events, he trained harder to become skilled at what he could do.
Notable Abilities: He can use many different types of Rock abilites due to being blessed by Terrakion. He's also gained more of a sense of justice in the process,
Weakness: Water. Just straight up, water. Raijin doesn't usually like any type of water. Even rain annoys him, although he

Appearance: http://fav.me/d5h45c4 He’s quite taller than most umbreons, maybe 3’6, 3’7 with a 7 ft wingspan. He smells faintly of ash and smoke. He has a few old scars, though fur has mostly grown over them.
Personality: Crowley isn’t one for tact. He can be quite fiery and passionate, and may make other people angry without intention. He loves to fight and is always up for a good sparring match. He is incredibly stubborn and doesn’t quit, but once he’s made friends with someone, he is an incredibly loyal friend.
History: Crowley found himself in Unova when a trainer chose him as his starter. Trainer and pokemon travelled the region together, however Crowley was taken by Team Plasma, long before the Champion could stop N. While trying to protect his trainer, the young eevee evolved. However, it was to no avail, and grunts confiscated the umbreon from his human. He struggled against Team Plasma’s efforts, refusing to follow their orders. Reshiram saw this and blessed the young umbreon, giving him the power to escape Team Plasma.
Notable Abilities: He can fly, and he has fire manipulation skills. He can breathe fire and use several fire type moves that Reshiram uses.
Weakness: He doesn’t do well in cold or wet conditions at all. He gets easily irritated and can chase other people off with his brusque nature.

Personality: Circe isn't so much fearsome as she is a nuisance. Loyal to a fault, she tends to cling onto people and ideals until the end of time. She's not really malicious so much as she is mischievous. She tends to crack jokes a lot and tease people, and she rarely takes things seriously. She's far too proud and overconfident, and often gets herself into tight spots because of it. She doesn't mean to hurt people, they just don't have senses of humor, according to her. She's the type to shoot now, ask questions later.
History: Circe's trainer was a young child who was very sick. The little girl was given the eevee as a tenth birthday gift, as fitting for all trainers. For a while, Circe's trainer appeared to be getting better. The two of them even went out and explored Kanto, never straying too far from their home of Saffron. The young girl offered Circe her choice of stones, and the eevee had chosen to evolve into a jolteon, to move quickly and use static to try and protect her trainer. Unfortunately, Circe and her trainer were attacked by a flock of wild spearows. Though Circe did her best to hold them off, her sick and weakened trainer was unable to escape. However, Zapdos had taken notice of the frantic jolteon's attempts, sensing the electrical disturbance. It came to their rescue, blessing the jolteon in order for her to protect her trainer. Circe's trainer was startled by her jolteon's sudden change, fled, leaving her. Alone, Circe remained with the Legend. When Arceus disappeared, the Zapdos ordered her to prevent Arceus from being found at all costs, and to aid Giratina as best as she could, for the Legend was eager to fill the God's spot.
Notable Abilities: Her electricity is far more strong than most. She's incredibly fast, and electrical attacks make her stronger.
Weakness: She is far too overconfident and often gets into more than she can chew. She rarely gives up in a battle and will fight to the death. She's awfully superstitious and can be a bit of a coward around things she considers "spooky" or "unnatural".
Relations: Zapdos (Master), Alexia Simmons (Trainer)

Name: Cole
Gender: Male
Age: Young Adult
Species: Vaporeon
Typing (If Applicable): Water/Ghost

Faction: Giratina
Appearance: A normal, if a bit thin, vaporeon. He's a bit bigger than most vaporeons are. He has several scars in various places, though most of them are beginning to fade. His scales are a bit darker than most, sort of darker blue. He wears a small orange shard around his neck, which he uses to communicate
Personality: Cole's got an independent streak a mile wide, he hates the idea of depending on anyone and he hates the idea of being weak. His temper is pretty vicious, he can get upset rather easily. He's fairly paranoid and distrustful, thinking that everyone and everything is out to get him. Despite that, once he makes a friend, he's a loyal and steadfast companion. He's a savage fighter and gets enraged in combat extraordinarily easy. He's a bit snarky and a bit of a jerk.
History: Cole was born to his mother, a flareon named Kiren, and his father, an umbreon named Vyk, as the youngest of four. Not much of note happened throughout his life. Up until he died, of course. It was a bit of unlucky situation, he got in over his head and was killed in a battle. As he entered the Distortion World, Giratina offered him a deal. To serve as a messenger between living and dead realms, and in return get a bit of power. Cole accepted the deal gladly, and henceforth follows orders as such.
Notable Abilities: Cole can fade like a ghost can, and he can communicate with Giratina. He can a few additional ghost type moves. He has some control over shadows, and can manipulate them to some degree.
Weaknesses: Cole doesn't admit pain easily, and he will suffer on a wound to the point of fainting or death without getting help. His personality often results in others wanting nothing to do with him. He can no longer turn into water form. He gets really edgy if he stays in the mortal world for far too long--in fact the light after awhile begins to hurt him, so he prefers being faded, dark places, or better yet, the Distortion World.
Relations: None really.

Appearance: Regular 6'07" height, slightly unusual 6'04" wingspan, and appearance of a normal Flygon; always seen with a non-descript brown mailbag slung over his shoulder
Personality: Steadfastly loyal; quirky; he is extremely unused to extended human and Pokemon contact alike, only staying to deliver things and leave which makes him seem rather socially awkward to most he meets.
History: Ever since both of his parents passed, he's not settled down in one place for long. Nothing exciting has happened to him except for the occasional storm that he's flown through and such. He is aware that Arceus has gone missing, but he'd rather stay out of the side sqabble than hop right in.
Notable Abilities: His speed surpasses that of a normal Flygon and he can easily match the speed of a Dragonite; being a Pokemon that delivers human mail, he's spent a good portion of his life learning English and can even speak/write it along with being able to speak to other Pokemon fluently.
Weakness: He's a bit tempered and sometimes his irritance can get the better of him and make him snap at those who really don't deserve the hard words. He is also very protective of his mailbag, seeing as it was passed down to him by his father and, if taken or lost, will cause him to go into a panic attack until he retrieves it.
Relations: All are dead.

Species: Pidgeot
Typing (For Hybrids/Delta Types): Psychic/Flying

Personality: Ari is calm and slow to anger. He takes a while to trust others but is fiercely loyal if they prove themselves to be trustworthy. Ari prefers to reason before fighting, but will use force if he deems it necessary. Ari is a little wary around humans, but he doesn't particularly dislike them.
History: Ari was brought to Sinnoh by a trainer, who eventually abandoned him near Lake Acuity in favour of a Noctowl. Ari developed a mistrust of humans, but did a good job protecting the lake because of this.
His over-protectiveness of the lake eventually starting irritating the humans, as he was scaring away everyone that wanted to visit the lake. A group of trainers were sent out to capture or otherwise get rid of Ari. He managed to defeat a lot of the trainer's pokemon but wasn't strong enough to fight them all.
Uxie saw his bravery, and chose Ari as his champion. Ari unintentionally took the trainers and pokemon's memory (for a few minutes), giving him enough time to escape. Ari pledged loyalty to Uxie and eventually got over his dislike of humans.
Notable Abilities: Shares a few of Uxie's abilities (teleportation, illusions), and telepathy. Like Uxie, Ari can wipe memory. This is a very weak version of Uxie's ability, however, only lasting a few minutes. This makes it useful for little apart from confusing enemies just long enough to catch them off guard, or escaping. He also cannot control who this ability effects, anyone that sees his eyes will get their memory wiped for a few minutes. Because this is such a risky ability to use he prefers to only use it as a last resort.
Weakness: Slow on the ground, fragile bones, doesn't take hits well, cannot see as well as normal Pidgeot unless he opens his eyes, he has trouble flying when his feathers are wet.
Relations: None.


Name: Lani
Gender: Female
Age: Adult
Species: Altaria
Typing (For Hybrids/Delta Types): Dragon/Flying

Faction (Arceus or Giratina?): Giratina

Personality: Lani is kind, even motherly, especially to younger pokemon. She is fairly reserved, but quick to show concern over other's well being. Lani tends to be overprotective, sometimes to an annoying extent. Despite Lani's easygoing nature, she will defend those she cares for fiercely, and will not hold back on those that repeatedly harm her friends.
History: Lani was raised normally, but split off from her flock at an early age. Nothing particularly unusual happened in Lani's life until she was a young adult, when she found a very young shiny Swablu. After a few attempts to find the Swablu's flock, Lani gave up and instead raised the Swablu herself. Eventually, a trainer found the Swablu, and despite Lani's efforts to chase the trainer away, they still caught the Swablu. Lugia saw this and gave Lani enough power to free the Swablu. But when she found the Swablu, it didn't recognise her, as Lugia's blessing had changed her appearance. Lani decided that the Swablu would be better off with the trainer, but sadness and loneliness eventually caused her to blame Arceus for the loss of her friend.
Notable Abilities: Can use the move aeroblast. Can make mist gather around her wings (this isn't particularly useful).
Weakness: Fragile, slow on the ground, bigger and easier to hit than normal Altaria, cannot fly well in cold weather.
Relations: None.

Names: Loupell & Mimico

Gender: Male

Age: Adults

Species: Houdoom

Appearance: The Brothers

Personality: Loupell is the more strict and serious of the two. He tends to be rather blunt and at times can seem callous, although he really is a deep caring sort. he is very confident. Mimico is very child-like and at times, simple. Easily amused, though very shy at first. He tends to be Loupells shadow. He is extremely excitable around legendary pokemon.

History: Loupell and Mimico grew up together as 'twin' brothers. They are very close and often do not require vocal communication to speak with each other. Their pack was lost in a violent rock slide and they have been traveling alone ever since. After encountering Rayquaza, Mimico's antics lead the legendary pokemon to bestow upon them its blessing.

Notable Abilities: Loupell- immune to fire, Mimico- immune to paralysis, They have the ability to use dragon-type moves, as well as the "air-lock" ability. They are also able to communicate with each other mentally.

Weakness: Each other. Blessed by Rayquaza as one, they cannot be far from each other for very long without becoming increasingly weaker.

Relations: Loupell and Mimico are identical brothers. Their pack was wiped out by a natural disaster.

[Moonlost]

Name: Rook
Gender: Female
Age: Adult, roughly in her mid twenties. (In human terms)
Species: Lucario
Typing: Fighting/Steel
Patron: Reshiram
Faction: Giratina

Personality: Rook is a subtle pokemon, taking enjoyment from the small things that many take for granted. But she's a loner at heart and has great difficulty trusting others. A hard life has taught her that trusting another means that they might well have the chance to attack you when things have calmed down. She's quick to attack when she needs to, knowing that hesitation for the sake of mercy gives you opponent a few seconds to recuperate and attack. But for those who do earn her trust, she's a staunch friend and an easy-going person.
History: Rook hatched in a deep part of the wilderness, where things are a little more primal than the routes close to the city. Not only was she the runt of her group, but was also born blind. Whilst she was not able to keep up with the rest of her family, Rook found ways to survive; she found that she could use the innate ability to sense Auras that her species has to discern the area around her somewhat, and beyond that she could use her other senses to find food and avoid enemies as she needed to. Still, life was hard and for the vast majority of her existence, she only barely scraped by.
Rook one day chanced an encounter with Reshiram. The legendary was impressed with how the then-evolved Lucario was able to survive despite her disability. Indeed, she had found other ways to make up for her loss of sight. So, feeling magnanimous, the great dragon blessed her with some of it's power.
When word came of Arceus' disappearance and Giratina's war, Rook made the decision to support the God of the Distortion World. After all, she reasoned that the world she existed in was far from perfect or fantastic; outside of a few chance encounters, she had to claw and struggle to survive. If nothing else, Giratina promises a new world order, and she's willing to fight in the hopes that what he creates is better than what currently is.
Notable Abilities: Rook has developed a rather unique use of her inherent aura-detecting abilities.Rather than being able to sense the emotions of those around her, she can sort-of 'feel' the life and landscape in close proximity to her; around twenty feet or so. Much further than that, and her aura-sense is greatly diminished. She has a keen sense of smell and hearing, which she uses to perceive the world outside of her aura-sense. Finally, she has been blessed with a few of Reshiram's powers over fire.
Weakness: Rook is blind, and although she has ways of working around this fact, she still has a great deal of trouble with enemies too far away from her. Her Aura-sense is vastly different from other Lucario, and she cannot perceive emotions with it, nor can she really make out any sort of useful information outside of that 20 foot area around her with it. She's not that good of a ranged fighter as a result, nor is her Aura Sphere attack guaranteed to hit anyone outside of her Aura Sense.
Relations: Her parents and a brother she has long since lost track of.

Age: In her early teens, not exactly sure of the age probably 15-16?
Species: Zubat

Personality: Even since she became Heatrans champion she's been grump, shouty, bitchy and anything thing but pleasant, sometimes its hard to tell what she's feeling because evn ishe's happy or sad she tends to remain angry sounding.
She hates any champions that are of a 'major' legendary, but is really only envys that they have a master that can easily over power hers.
Depending on everything it takes awhile to get used to a person.
History: Ardor was born in a cave near snowpoint city, Sinnoh. When the cave was discovered by humans. it was also filled with valuable ores.
Trainers had helped cleared out the pokemon in the cave, Ardor was one of them, it was the middle of day and Zubat often got confused, bumping into trees, tumbling over branches and even hitting ground. Ardor was determined to find a new home though.
In her travels she meet Orash, while they obviously weren't friends right away the Zubat liked having the Smergle around for the fact he wasn't only a healer, but a grass type. They both also seemed to have reasons for traveling aroundd: Orash wanted to see more and Ardor wanted to make stories for her master.
It took many months but eventually her travels lead her to a volcano, with it burning bright as it is she once again became confused and lost, Heatran had found her.
Heatran at the time was a very lonely legendary, he wasn't talked about in legends, nor was he worshipped, wild pokemon also didn't find the volcano as a suitable enviroment. The god decided to rescue the little zubat and bless it for a certain deal though: Ardar would have to come back and visit heatran after all her journeys
Notable Abilities: her previous poison attack now gives the 'burning sensation' effect rather than the 'poison' affect Zubats normally have. She also has a few fire moves and can withstand incredable amounts of heat
Being blind she's able to sense attacks coming more easily, she's also quick and can easily dodge things. Her small size helps her in combat as well
Weakness: Cold climate, Water, Lighting. She's young and not the smartest, Physical attacks up close often hurt her badly. She's also quite easy to beat up mentally

Personality: He's quite the opposite of his friend. He's kind and loves to socialize. He is often cuaght staring at people admiring their body shape because he consider himself an expert on body paint. When it comes to fighting he prefers to stay behind the lines and heal those who are sick and injured, due to his kind nature he's easy to manipulate
History: Orash belongs to a clan of smergles known as the 'Forests story' for the fact that they amuse Celebi by drawing art and telling stories. Celebi was always very childish, it had an eternal youth as a child, The 'Forests Story' clan takes care of Celebi by playing with it, telling it stories and drawing for it. In return their all blessed.
Orash was always the kind type, healing the wounded he found, singing and telling stories to the young legendary when he got the chance.
The thing is he never got a chance to know what the outside world was like and one day a certain Zubat traveled to the forest.
Orash found the Zubat strange, it had a mask and was burning hot.
Orash was curious and investigated further, although the bat was very loud and quite nasty it spoke of things that Orash had never heard of before.
Orash decided to travel with the Zubat later finding out its name was Ardor. He at left Celebi in the care of his other tribe as he explored the world with his new companion
Notable Abilities: His paint serves as a healing salve of sorts. With his pain he can speed up time around things he paints on, he uses this mostly for healing other people and on course drawing.
Weakness: He's not the fighter type and he doesn't like to hurt people. He finds himself to get cold easily, sometimes he doesn't trust himself around Ardor when she's fighting just for the fire. He takes blows not-so-well in battle, he's not as good at fighting back agasint other pokemon either. This little knowlegde in combat can make him a very easy atrget to knock out first in combat

I apologize for not clarifying. Yes, the weakness slot is to be used for weaknesses other than type weaknesses. As typing is generally only considered loosely, and people tend to disregard it all together, I do request folks place something else in the weakness area. If you need to bounce off ideas or you have none or what have you, feel free to PM me.

Everyone I believe has been added but Ruby and Makoes, who have unfinished forms. If something isn't working, lemme know.

Personally, I do try to keep it in mind more than I don't. If my character gets attacked by a type they're weak to, I do tend to show that it hurts a little more than it otherwise would. But overall, yeah, we tend to downplay type weaknesses a lot. If only so that you don't get too penalised for fighting against other characters who are strong against you.

Also, Ruby? There's a slight typo in one of your signups. I believe that Ardor's Patron should be "Heatran", not "Meatran".
Although.... the image of a little Zubat being given the awesome powers of meat makes me giggle. XD
