Rise of the Shadows!

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

The soft sound was the only thing that filled the dark empty of the room. It was a sharp, empty black, the color of nightmares, of hopelessness, of fear and pain and lost dreams. It was the color of Dusk.

A beam of light pierced the silence of the room, and it retreated, shadows climbing the wall in desperate escape. A figure stood, illuminated in the doorway’s light. The beeping was there, but accompanied by the sounds of quiet, wary footsteps.

The figure, a she, ran her hands along the glass screens of the tank, an almost motherly gesture. In each tank, suspending in life giving fluid, was a pokemon of some sorts. They varied in degrees of normal looking. The first few were normal, wearing a red collar. As you walked further and further, mutations occurred. Spikes, scythes, fangs, talons, things that were not once there were now grafted onto pokemon. Fur, scales, feathers, hides grew darker and darker as you walked along, until you reached the last few empty tanks.

She paused at one tank, far down the line. It was of a rapidash, his flames an usual steel gray, his fur ebon like night. The scientist checked again. Yes, it was still there. She spoke into a walkie-talkie, controlling her anxiety.

“We have a situation, Room 409, Floor i. Code Yellow. Send someone up here, would you?” She demanded, and there was silence on the other end, an ominous crackle, before a voice replied, “Yes, mother.” The voice was mocking.

The woman yelled into the walkie-talkie, then flinched as she heard a sharp crack from behind her. She slowly turned. The rapidash was moving, and a spiderweb of cracks crawled up the glass. It thrashed, shuddered, and fluid leaked from the hole.

The scientist made for the door, but was burnt to death before she could leave.

The rapidash snorted angrily, the flames on his spine growing higher. He released the creatures from the tank, fleeing down the halls with his companions. They spread, releasing others, and soon numbers of dark creature roamed the halls, slaughtering any humans found. Any pokemon the scientists had were left alive, but were mauled. Slowly, the curse would take them.

They ran rampant, and safe above, a figure watched. He laughed. His creatures were alive, and they were beautiful. He shuddered with joy. Go, and corrupt others. He said mentally to his creations, and they all paused, before fleeing the lab, running through the streets of the town, killing all.

He’d like to see them mock him now.

((Just a beginning so people know how the Dusk came to be. NOW go!))

Kanmimipi ran around in terror, They died! she couldn't but repeat it my brothers and sisters they all died! a tear flowed down her blue furred cheek Why did they rebel? she was in charge of keeping the psyhics under control with her powers, same with her brothers and sisters but they where all slaughtered, she ran getting chased by the dusk. they wanted to kill her, they wanted to be free she only had two under her control. the cat-fox muttered a few words, focusing, she grabbed her minions and fled, to her own personal relm

She hurt.

So much.

She couldn't figure it out, anything, what had happened. Her memories were fuzzy, and the pain took control of everything. It all hurt so much, and the voices kept telling her that she hurt because of her friends. They had betrayed her. Left her to die. "El..." She said quietly. "Help me!"

She thrashed, screeching as the humans came closer. Her fur was darkened, around her neck was a red collar, a silver ID tag labelling her as '29'. "El! Help!" She screamed again, lashing her tail. There was a sound of a screech, but she could tell Eleredar was captured too. They bundled the pair up to the tanks, she would stay there forever and a day...

But suddenly, chaos came and other pokemon slaughter humans. She was free. She leaned on Eleredar, his wing tenting over her to protect her.

She could remember one thing, however. Her name was Solara.

Somna walked, recently bruised from his lack of loalty, he had been captured for what? safety? it was embarssing to admit it but he allowed himself, to keep himself from falling to the dusk, he was now forced to work, forced to use his ability

Laki grumbled sadly, why was she the only one who was immune. it. freaking. sucked. half her guild had turned into freaking DUSKS and only her, black angel and the toxic master((I do realise that was celebrits old assasain name there's reasons..)) were left, he had captured the bear yes, but he wanted to be captured so it was no fun, she wished she could die but something keeps telling her to find hope in this terroized land....

As soon as she was free, she ran. The viciousness of the others terrified her, made her want to stop and be sick, or perhaps cry. There were screams and cries everywhere, humans and pokemon attacked with no discrimination. She couldn’t take it. She burst out of the lab and stumbled as her paws hit the uneven street.

Brilliant green eyes moved back and forth as she tried to think, understand, but her head was splitting and she could only focus on the pounding at the base of her skull, and the need to run. She listened to her body and let it take over as she fled, tail snapping in the air behind her, ears flattened close to her skull and her eyes open just enough to see. She didn’t even bother with the small collar around her neck, the number 24 upon it.

His own eyes watched as his other half fled, a smirk on his maw. Let her run, he’d find her again. They were connected, she and him, and that would lead him to her, always. He snapped his own tail, allowing it to crack the ground, his dark fur blending in to the shadows, but painfully obvious in the bright light. Dark blue eyes focused on the humans that were trying to run and his paws became tight fists.

He joined his brethren in their attacks, laughing as he felt humans and pokemon fall from his punches. This was fun! This was living! This was POWER! He didn’t want it to end, not now or ever. He let out another laugh as he paused, tail snapping the air as he looked around, still giddy. His own collar was a bit looser than his ‘sister’s’ and had 24-b imprinted on it. He’d remove it soon enough though. For now..he wanted to help destroy this town, and the memories with it.

Solara shuddered, hearing the voices scream at her.

It was your fault!
They betrayed you!
Release your anger!
Release your hate!

She was scared, so very scared. Everything was a blur, and she watched death occur all around her. She whined, and Eleredar nuzzled the espeon. "Relax, Sol. We'll get out of here." Solara shuddered again, watching a human come for her and El, and she lashed without second thought, tearing him down.

Good. We'll have you yet.

Kanmimpi watched the two cats, her body hid by her invisablility if only she could stop them if only she could gain contorl again..like her master created her for....

At a small hangout near an abandoned town, Chomp, Lilith and Sparky were watching tv.

A character in the show yelled, "LOVE ME YOU SEXY NINJA BASTARD!!!!"

Then suddenly, "WE INTERRUPT THIS GAY NINJA PORNO FOR A BREAKING NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT!"

Lagal looked at the t.v "Mommy whats a breaking news announcement?"

Lilith look at the baby, "Its when something really important happens and they interrupt our shjow to tell us about it...."

Pinsir appeared on screen, "Good evening ladies and gentlemen!"

"MMMOOOOLLLLYYYYY!" A young adult Flygon bellowed into the house. "Desna needs some more oil!"
"More?!" A Gardevoir poked her head from around the corner. "But he had some just yesterday."
"He says he's feeling really bad today."
Molly sighed. "That crusade of ours was really hard on his old joints, wasn't it?"
"Guess so. He's been telling Rocket war stories like some kind of old crotchety war veteran."
"Which he is, I suppose."
"I s'pose. By the way, did I get any letters from Zinny?" She nosed through the pile of stationary. "Lesse... one from Deoxys and his family... one from Jingle... aww, nothing. I guess she and the bugs are busy, huh?" Tira began to root around the cupboards. "Oh, here's some oil. Gotta go give it to Deswhaaaaaaaat were you watching?" She raised a brow at the announcement, then waddled over to see what the news was.

[Kira]

Daray blinked before he shook his head. "Some of the things you guys watch." He had been amusing himself with a book he had found, trying to learn human. He wasn't doing so well but..hey, it was something to do at least. His head snapped up as he heard the next line, a shiver running down his spine. "Oh I got a bad feeling about this...or maybe someone just died.."

Pinsir continued, "We have been given permission to be the FIRST witnesses of the Isshu region! Here's Zincano with the story!"

"Why don't they choose I differnet time to put it on I love watching shows" lagal's eye's were filled with innocence

Zincano appered on the t.v "Hi! and good mourning to you all" zincano had matured a bit over time and was now used to being on a t.v

[Senna-Umbreon]

"STAY STILL, YOU LITTLE RUNT!!" A loud roared echoed through the forest as Rhyperior chased its prey, roaring again as it finally caught the small black Pokemon in its grasp. The black Pokemon squirmed, red eyes blazing as she fought to get free of the large Rock type's grip. The yellow rings on her body glowed brightly as she fired a spectral sphere at the Rhyperior.

Umbreon used Confuse Ray!

The Rhyperior stumbled backwards, letting the Umbreon go, and crashed to the ground, dazed.

Umbreon trotted away from the Rock type, stopping near a piece of cloth that lay on the ground, "Dammit, my cloak got ripped.." She hissed, using her tail and paws to fasten the half ripped black cloak back onto her back. "At least nothing happened to my scarf.."

She turned back to the way she had been going in the first place. Of course, she hadn't known the area belonged to the Rhyperior, and she had just been passing through, but had been attacked anyway. She started trotting, not wanting to let the Rhyperior catch her again.

((Of course, the Umbreon is pretty easy to tell who she is... Ghost! Mwahaha! And she's now gotten an outfit! Cloak and a scarf! Yay for fashionable Umbreons! XD))

"Aw great, just when the show was getting interesting!" Rikki complained, "Wonder what this 'important announcement' is?" She wondered, then got tackled by a small Pokemon that looked like a cross between a Zangoose and a Feraligatr, "Mama! I'm boooooored! I wanna play!" Rocket whined, "If you're bored, go bother your father or something." Rikki replied, not in the mood to play.

"Okay!!" Rocket said cheerfully, then turned and tackled Chomp, "I'M BORED!!"

[Kamalia]

"Aw, lighten up Daray. And WHOOOOO ZINNY! I TOLD her she'd get to do the story!" Tira wedged herself onto the couch to watch.

Zincano then moved onto the story " It started when we had gotten a letter! we were atonished to seee that we were the first to go into the isshu region!" zincano explained the rest of the story, her speech as exciting an interesting at it usualy was

Daray raised an eyebrow at Tira. "You just told a Ghost to lighten up." He snickered. "I do anymore of that I'll fly away." He shouldn't be so amused by his own little joke but he was. "I can't help it either! It's just a feeling I get..it's odd."
