Looking for an RP realm

So i noticed I have a high level char just collecting dust. SO I decided I would move him to an RP realm to have some fun. Well instead of just randomly picking one I would ask you guys on here if any of you are on an RP realm and I could hang with you.
Id like to do a decent level of rp actually, I dont care if your horde or Alliance cause either way im changing his race..hell maybie his gender.
So anyone here on an RP Realm that does some rp?

I'd say you should join my guild over on AD, but RP as a general on this server pretty much died after BC and hasn't picked up aside from select groups of RPers... not to mention, most groups are run by godmodding, always-in-the-spotlight sorta people save for a very select few groups of people D: And my guild would probably scare you away ^_^;

I'm looking for a regular RP server as well, I don't know which ones are good and which ones aren't just kinda wanna make a new char and start over @_@.

I would suggest Cenarion Circle...

But eh. Alliance side is extremely exclusive. You're in the RP guild, and RP, or you aren't and don't participate. You'd be better off Horde on CC.

That said, I've heard great things about Wyrmrest Accord. Try there instead.

I keep hearing that if you're looking for RP you go to Wyrmrest or Moonguard or you don't RP. I can't vouch for that at all since I'm not on any RP servers, but that seems to be the most common thought on the matter.

I'd ask on their realm forums or run to a capital city and ask around if you can.

Wyrmrest is GREAT, tons of RP all around. Getting a guild helps, but I found lots of random RP around.
Both Alliance and Horde are active.

well, you can knock The Scryers off any "real" RP server list.
as a matter of fact, I suspect that if you even TRY to RP you'll get harassed, harangued and in the end, harmed.

Yeah, Moon Guard has a lot of rumors around it that are, indeed, based on fact.
There's actually some decent RP there too, but I've found Wyrmrest to be tamer.
Not that it doesn't have its fair share of bleh.
It's pretty guild based. Lots of one or two race only guilds. Tauren tribes, orc clans, etc. Ally has a lot of Military style, Mercenary style, and Scholar style guilds. Personally, I find Horde to be better lore-wise for RP, with the distinct clans and tribes. I'd suggest playing a Tauren, Orc or Troll.
However, just sitting in a tavern can get you good RP Ally side. I emoted at someone's mini pet and met a few cool people.

I love Moon Guard, despite its downpoints. If you avoid Elwynn/Goldshire in general, usually you'll be fine. Stormwind is a big hotspot for rp, especially the Cathedral.

Both - mostly Alliance at the moment, but I have several Horde characters.

I've been thinking about trying to get back into WoW rp as well .. I've done alittle in the past but I'm far from an expert.
Been thinking of trying something different than hunter but I'm not sure what exactly or even which realm to go to.

I'm an EU player, and I'm growing into the idea of transferring my main toons to an RP server. I'm fed up with Kilrogg, but, I love my guild and don't want to abandon it, so I'm going to do my best and bring some friends with me if I decide to transfer.

I've really enjoyed playing on Steamwheedle Cartel every now and then, but only Alliance side and all my main toons on Kilrogg are Horde. I would be really interested to hear what kind of RP do the EU servers have got to offer on the Horde side? If there's anyone out there who plays on the EU servers, I'd like to hear about your experiences.
