Among the things that are making Silithus change, this one stood out more than the others:
Not tameable (yet?), but HYOOOOOOOGE.

So....when/if that becomes tamable, it doesn't shrink, right?
(Kidding...good grief, I wouldn't want to be melee around that puppy.)

Also, the quests are beginning to change as well. On the PTR, I went to get the quest that summoned the three big bugs. However, when I did it, I got attacked by <SPOILER> and not three bugs. Because I don't want to spoil myself for when 4.1 comes out (or whenever they finish these quests) I'm not completing it. However, safe to say that the ant of that three will never be tameable.
I'm going to try some checking and taming on Live, just to see...

Whoah they remembered there were THREE Dragon kids in AQ? I thought the Red was the only one they were gonna bother with.
My main's a Druid so I of course love critters. That counts for something right? Right?

Back during the original AQ opening they had the Colossus around, wonder if they'll bring back any other bugs from that event.

There was? All I remember is some of the bosses stomping around, Anbuisath and many many world server crashes.

If you could stay logged on enough, everyone once in awhile a Colossus would spawn at a hive and killing it would get you A LOT of rep.

Ah no wonder, I was at the gate with the guild I was with at the time and no where near a hive. Buggering hell woulda been neat to see that!

i think that if that collosus is tameable in the future it should be made a rare that uses either the orange brain bug skin or the damaged orange skin....either way i want to be able to get the orange without going into AQ40 because getting groups is so hard these days
also it really desnt roam....its actually stationary like its waiting for something....if tats the case it should at least live up to its name and roam around near the nest

Sweet, they finally decided to actually work on Silithus. I was worried when they originally said pretty much "screw Silithus", considering C'Thun is still alive and controlling Cho'gall, and the Twilight Hammer is still there in force, there would still be big things afoot in the bug desert.

not only is she/he big but i think its unique in that it has 2 different death animations or at least its corpse changes sometimes
iv had it die and still intact then iv had it die and it blew its shell off exposing its brain
