WoW Petopia Community

I've tamed every rare in the game that has a unique skin, and my stable is full up with the ones I chose to keep (though I may drop one or two "recolors" even though they're unique).

For the moment, though, I have one slot open. Went to go get the flaming battleboar today and found out that Blizzard had fixed all of these a few months back.

Any ideas for that last, solitary slot?

Really? Is there a list somewhere of which unique pets will be going common?

Don't believe so, but you can browse through Thedoomcookie's thread to see what beasts are tamable. Blue Madexx is among them.

Plus some of the pets you have have common counterparts already too. (Like Kirix and the baby green semi-rare spiders.)

Well, Kirix' skin is only otherwise available on a brief temporary spawn. But I'm still dropping him...
I'm dropping Magria, Kirix and and Solix today so I don't have any more simple recolors, unique or no. I'll be rounding out my stable by grabbing the gray fox again, and Gorebite if I can figure out where in the Uldum chain I was when I left.

I take it the white wasp isn't available...I MAY go for the Ghost Jormungar but I really don't want to do old dailies. We'll see.

Kind of irritates me about the blue Madexx. I went through 2 browns, a red and a green before finally getting him. I would have stuck with red if I'd known they were making the blue a common.

Never once seen the black one though...cry. I want to be able to say I've tamed all his colors

Anyway, any suggestions to fill out my stable are appreciated!

Edit: Looks like the red skin horde scorp is going to be common as well. However, both the Jadefang and Aeotona look-alikes are non-tameable. For me, thats unique enough...if the only way for me to get a particular skin is to go after a rare, then I consider that unique.
The blue scorpid kind of irritates me. Why would they put such a rare pet in the game and then make it common in the very next expansion? Do they realize how many hunters are going to literally cry over this? It's just ridiculous.

Anyway. /rant

I'd go for something "common," or at least not rare, that matches your Orc--sort of a simple counterpoint to all the rare spawns you've got!

The warp stalkers, wasps or maybe the orange/blue turtle might also match. Very nice collection (and cool names!) by the way!

If you're REALLY after another unique, maybe the ghost armored boar could do the trick.

@Acherontia - I liked your Spirit Boar idea I went right out and grabbed him. He's a worthy consolation for the Flaming Battleboar I didn't get around to going for before they fixed the glitch.

With the new space in my stable I went on a round-up and grabbed Olm the Wise and Ashtail, and my girlfriend was kind enough to spawn Gorebite for me since I had completed most of Uldum previously.

Update: I dropped Olm the Wise, as Ban'thalos and he are recolors of one another. I prefer Ban'thalos due to wooshy wing trails >.>

So to replace him I first went and tamed the Silithid Harvester, but I've never liked his green coloring. In looking over the list of Beetles I became sold on the color-changing Beetle from BRD. I figured I should have at least one color-changer, and I really liked both of its skins. After suffering through some traumatic Vanilla flashbacks (Windsor, anyone?) I managed to get lucky and the Borer Beetles spawned on the first attempt Easy tame.

I think my stable is about as rounded-out as can be, now. All unique, no recolors. (I consider a color-changer unique in itself ) Any thoughts? Glaring omissions?
