So I was noodling around when I happened upon the saddest little clefthoof.... It was named Lost Icehoof Calf, and every so often it would let out a Forlorn Wail. I had to give the little fella a home! Unfortunately, I started taming too close to where the tunneling ice lurkers were... out popped a giant worm, which chomped onto my baby and dragged him under the ice.
But this story does have a happy ending -- turns out my tame completed before my l'il icehoof was no more! I had to resummon, but there he was, hopefully happy to have a new friend!

Congrats! I remember feeling awful for them when I saw them. I tamed Coldstomp the Griever for the same reason, and went and released it over by the other roaming herds with calves, because I just felt that bad for it x_x

Awww, that's a nice story! Glad you were able to save him in the end!
