Worth the Wipes
So tonight some friends of mine in the guild were willing to help me go into Sunwell and tame me a dragon hawk. AFter three wipes this baby was mine. I found it hard to keep aggro on the beast struggling with the tank as he attempted to hold aggro on the other mobs. But after the second time I got the tame off just as the healer died and then the tank then I dismissed pet and feigned death. Now I just need a name for my new lovely.

Congrats! I love my Naisha, though MAN she was a pain to get. Good on you for getting a group together for it, I had to 'cheat' to get mine

i am currently making a 70 hunter twink and i have my eye on one of these. i don't want to think about how much of an awful pain it's going to be at that level if it's still hard at 85 >.<

grats! I'm glad you had some people helping you! How nice of them! I went in by myself to get one and... it was not pretty...

Congrats! I remember how hard it was to get my Sunstorm. I hope you can think of or get help with an awesome name for that beauty.
Sig by the AMAZING Sookie.
Re: Worth the Wipes
I got one yesterday, solo, to match my 100 mount achieve. Much easier on your own, actually! Trap the hunter, pop Deterrence, tame, dismiss, and feign. I ran through and feigned to get a better position for trapping, but I imagine you could just do it from the entrance after killing the sentry (who is also soloable at 85 - I used my bear and kept a heal up and had no problem). Was kinda hoping the engineering schematics would drop... sigh...

Thank you all and I'm still trying to come up with a name as I level her. Trying to find something to do with blue and fire but have yet to come up with something good and creative. Though I've had my beetle for about two months and he's still nameless, so it may be a while before I name my pretty little hawk.

I really love the way that beauty looks next to you.
Maybe, a name combination of the names of those people who helped you? Mayben take the first three letters of each name and mix them up until something interesting comes along?

Astratia that's a good idea though they already have a big engouh ego . Atleast the tank does, I'm still trying to come up with some sorta combo between blue and fire as it just looks like a flame fanning out. I love how it looks I try to pick out pets with colors like those of my characters just makes me feel like I click with them more.

Hehe, I tamed this beauty back when I was still 80, and named him Moonwell. ^^ Usually I prefer very short names, but Moonwell just fit him so well, I couldn't resist.
