Every once in a while we get thread where someone tamed a new pet, and many others post pictures of the same pet family with their stories and how much they love them. I thought I would make a thread for this where I will roll a random pet family every week (same as how the random pet challenge rolls pets) to post your pictures, your stories, and your love for the family. Please no hate or rants. This is an appreciation thread. If you dislike the family, don't post! Hopefully with some love we can get some hunters to try out new pets they never would have thought to tame before.
Our first family is the "ferocious" moth family!

Kind of disappointed my first roll is a family rarely seen tamed, but I'm sure we have hunters with moths out there.
Moth facts
~Model was introduced in Burning Crusade, but not made a tameable family until Wrath.
~Moths have seven different skin colors.
~Moths have no rare members.
~Moths have one unique skinned named member, Aspatha the Broodmother with a beautiful white skin.
~Back in Wrath, moths where tamed by 0.3% of level 80 hunters. Making them the second lowest tamed family, tied with bats. (Source)
If I have the pet family I rolled I'll post my story on a separate post, as with some of the bigger families like cats and wolves I'm sure the facts will eat up my post count. =P
I do have a moth on Wassa. Meet Jinai.
His name is the Japanese word for dust or dirt, named after the moth's special move Serenity Dust. I don't use him much, but Jinai has so much personality. I use an addon called Tongues to make my pets talk (although I edit the lua heavily as the default doesn't give all the pets a language to speak in) and Jinai is one of my more talkative pets. If you could understand his moth language he would greet you with a "ohai dere." During battle he throws insults such as "lol nub i pwn u" and "qq more nub." Yus, he talks in internet troll speak and thinks he's a tough guy, but... he's a moth. No one takes him seriously as a tough pet, not even Wassa.
A rare visitor to this forum now that I don't play WoW anymore, but forever a Petopian.
I have a draenei waiting to be played thats going to have moths <3 I love moths, i love them in-game and in real life, they're just so sparkily and soft and the softer colors like grey and white make them look so graceful and quiet, the embodiment of calm and beauty <3 It kills me that the broodmother is the only white model, i dont know if i'll like white or grey more and the grind is gonna kill me but it also gives me something to look forward to (that and taming Gezzarak)
I have a beige moth named Stardust that is usually one of my active pets. Moths always make me happy, Stardust and critters both.
I'm a little sad they fixed the camo bug; I miss my floating grub! The Teromoths have one of the few appearance buffs that I'd actually like to have--a slight greenish under-lighting.
Back in my lower levels I did a lot of BGs to level up and I would go looking for any pet that helped me in them. Well, I found out Moths could really screw over Mages and Warlocks and other magic using enemies I got on. The blue skinned of course. Named her Mothra because I am a Godzilla fan. Sadly I did not keep the Moth long =(.
I have a grey moth on my night elf huntress. Her name is Ikolo. It came from a random name generator, so I have no idea what it would mean if it means anything. I love this moth, though I haven't managed to click with another on other hunters. She's so pretty and her purple eye look a bit like they are glowing in dark areas.
One of my hunters has a blue moth named Blueberry. I rarely use her, but I still like her appearance so much. They are just so graceful and pretty. And of course the matching minipet <3
I think I should use her more often for random dungeons so she'll see more light again.
For a good while, as a personal joke, I had a moth named Firefly. Cause, you know, with a move called Serenity Dust (At the time I had it, hell if I know whether they do), it was only fitting that my moth was still flyin'.
Firefly was, if I remember right, the all white moth skin. She was a random tame picked up when I wanted more pets and was redoing my stables. Firefly ended up being the only pet surviving the tame spree, until I ended up letting Firefly free for other pets. While I don't have Firefly anymore, I really did enjoy the moth skin and would totally use it on another hunter.
Even though I find them silly as ferocity pets, they are strangely adorable, and I've always been fond of the white one. I had one for a while on Veph (Arthur, so original, haha), but he didn't really suit her, as cute as he was. He looks great with my draenei though. They're just so soft and fuzzy looking. ^^

I would have to agree with Lupis picks for your toons Jessibelle XD
I have the yellow moth on Myriana and I think they look pretty good together. Sadly I do not have a screenshot of Myri and Harmony together. Bah. I'll have to remedy that and come back to this thread.
