Duskstalker doesn't get enough love!

I never see enough people with this lovely beast =( I got him recently and love it! =)

I named him Eremes =) He's a rare spawn in Teldrassil with a unique model!

I honestly had no idea this was a unique-skinned rare. A nice challenge for a Horde hunter, perhaps? I should try it.

I tamed him on my draenei and I really like him with her.

I never had much interest in the model previously, but he suits her very well.

Duskstalker is what got me to playing my second hunter again. I got her to level 10 but then hadn't played her in over a year. When Cata came out, and I saw Duskstalker and where he was located... CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

Back when I tamed him. He was so tiny and cute. I named him Makkapitew, an Algonquin name meaning "he has large teeth."

I know how that is though mine was a little less challenging, when I was level 20, my hunter was a Tauren. This was pre-cata, so I wouldn't be able to get my hands on a diseased bear until 50+ But I didn't want to wait. I (with a few deaths of course) took the boats to Azuremyst Isle, made my way to bloodmyst and tamed Deathclaw there haha

I don't have a hunter that goes with Duskstalker very well (well, I have one but she;s not on my main server so I don't play that toon much XD) but I adore him! He totally GLOWS in some environments (especially Darnassus <3) and it's amazing.

He is definitely up there on my list of favorite saber kitties. Duskfang is my favorite, but Duskstalker's probably second. He looks great with your character, Veph!

When I rolled my second night elf hunter I immediately went to get Duskstalker as soon as I learned tame beast.

White saber cats have always been somewhat special for me... Ever since vanilla when I looked at Rak'shiri and decided that "when I'm high level enough... I will tame you!" Revontuli (meaning 'the northern lights' in finnish) was my loyal companion all the way through Burning Crusade and I still have him right beside me. I just can't abandon him, no matter how many cats my stable has in it.

When Duskstalker swapped to his current form I also tamed him for my main hunter... but alas the Wintersaber Huntress "Halcyon" soon took his place as this model + skin had long been on my wishlist.

Every once in a while when I roll a new baby hunter I try to see how Duskstalker fits with them. I had most fun taming him with my goblin hunter recently! I tend to see this saber with alliance players every now and then but very rarely on the horde side. Sometimes I even get whispers of where did I find him when I stroll around in Orgrimmar.

(And I always tell them where because Dusky is worth every single ounce of the love!)

I have Ghoststalker on my baby Draenei hunter. I love the Sabertooth cats and at level 9 he is the first one available for quite a while. It was a no brainer for me. I named him Liam!

Baby Liam at lvl 15ish:

"Teenage" Liam at lvl 70. My how they grow!

I had Duskstalker for a while on my main, once I learned I could tame the big, bad rare pets and this one was a unique model I went to tame her. I think I called her Tempest. She was nice to bring out and she looked big and strong but I liked my starter cat and felt I should be using my first kitty so Tempest got left in the stables

I eventually released her as I was finding more pets I liked and had too many cats.

I am toying with making a Belf hunter alt and this seems like an appropriate challenge to tame early on :p I wonder, how does one sneak into Teldrassil, get through Darnassus alive and tame this kitty? ;D

You don't get through Darnassus alive. I think I died four times while traveling to tame this kitty, but he was worth it.

Haha! I didn't think it was possible, still going to go for it, started my new hunter last night, looking forward to when I can get out the starting areas and get over to Kalimdor. Shall be fun!!

EDIT: Question, how the heck do I get across the sea? :s

I'm glad you started this thread because I didn't know about him. So, I went to get him while doing the Love is in the Air dailies. He reminds me of one of my first loved pets the Ghost Saber from Darkshore. I named him Wonton. Here we are at Hyjal.
