I'm so angry right now. What I get for switching toons a month into the expac, I guess... still half a dozen traits from Concordance and none of my damn champions is studly enough to do the idiot mission to advance the campaign either. Grrrrr.

A lot of folks are in the same boat. I was behind due to brain weasels/life/buying legion way late. We're rooting for you, and things get easier as the AK levels go up.

Also, is it preferred to hotlink or attach images in here?

Okay, I've fallen in love with Netherbeak on Veph.





I was intending for her to get Lalathin as her hippogryph, and she definitely still is, but this guy surprised me with how much I ended up liking him. I guess she'll just have two!

Anyway, here are my June 6th tames! Varoudnir, Kveldulfnir, and Mavarnir (the three wolfhawks)! ♥

I named them Megaera, Tisiphone, & Alecto, after the three furies from Greek mythology.



BTW, in case anyone is interested, a great taming macro to use for these three is:

/tar Varoudnir
/tar Mavar
/tar Kveld
/startattack
/castsequence reset=60 A Murder of Crows, Cobra Shot, Tame Beast, Tame Beast, Tame Beast
/cast Tame Beast

Set it on your bar and bind that key to Scrollwheel Up / Down

Then just sit back, relax, scroll the mouse and hope for the best.

Woot finally got my feathered friends! Those were some fun and hour long hunts. I hope Blizz will make some more hunts like Gara's questline but these guys were a good challenge.

I was able to finish up grinding AP and buy the tome today. I tamed all three of the wolfhawk so far ! ^^

Got my lava scorpion today- my hunter is a MacGraff, which is a family of Wildhammer dwarves in Twilight Highlands that are renowned shamans and, in a questline there, reveal themselves as traitors/Twilight Hammer cultists. She's long since abandoned her family and her once shamanistic ways, considering the baggage they carry- but I always wanted a pet that would be able to stand in as her familiar/main elemental from her shaman days.



Ignis is perfect for it! I like to think they have a bit of a strained relationship, and she's not proud to admit she was a shaman ever, but he's bound to her and they were very close friends, once.

That's a neat scrop. Is that new?

Yeah! They introduced it in 7.2.5, it's the Lost Emberspit Scorpion in the Molten Front.

I tamed Netherbeak yesterday on Hellscream after camping for 2 hours. Surprisingly no one else was there. Many thanks to the awesome hunters here who shared advice.

I almost missed him. I waited above the temple as everyone suggested and waited to have my face pecked off. I happened to scan around and saw him flying away....NOOOOOO! I chased after him until I got aggro, then back to the temple to tame. Isn't he regal?!

I got Netherbeak and the Very Lost Kitten or whatever it's name is..and then just got Fenryr finally..whew! That one was tough! Been a good day for me today...also got the blue wolfhawk

I finally finished Concordance on Titanstrike today. Leaving for a couple of months meant a huge catch up to race through. First thing I checked for were the Wolfhawke pets. Only one of them was up to greet me, but, thankfully, that's the one I wanted.



Earlier in the week, I got dismounted by Netherbeak when on my merry way to WQs in Valsharah. I couldn't tame him then, so I just died a little inside and let him go. Now, I got to the place, paced around a bit and... nothing happened. So I prepared for a long wait, openedKil'jaeden kill cinematic.... and was promptly snatched from the air by the cunning thing.



P.S. Really wish Lalathin used Netherbeak's running animation instead of flopping one D:

First up last week I tamed this one and named it after one of my friend's Swedish Vallhund. It just seemed fitting.


Next I tamed an owlcat and he still doesn't have a name but I'm sure I'll come up with something. One day.


And tonight I tamed Lalathin! Was going to just solo it but two of my guildies decided to come and help out. I absolutely love this hippogryph, annoying roars and all (though I will not be too sad if that changes). I'm taking him to raid tomorrow.


And also tamed last week, I decided while I waited for Lalathin I would give Wraithtalon a home. I'm sure I'll let him go one day, but for now he can be uncorrupted in my stable. I just prefer the more sleek look of the old-model hippogryphs.
