I felt like this fun content patch could warrant its own show off thread, it's not often we get so many new tameables in a non-expansion!

Veph tamed 3 new pets today!

I'm so happy this guy was found, I really like the colours and he's already grown on me a lot. I want to check out the purple one when it's available too, but this might be my favourite now.


I love the look of these fel-scarred talbuks, they're just so badass. Took me a while to find the exact combination I needed. The brown and maroon ones are very similar, but I like that the maroon ones have more dark scarring around their eyes. Then I wanted the curled horns too because they just look wicked from the front.


And of course I had to pick up one of the marsuuls because they're just adorable. <3

I got that little guy too!

I got a sky blue one and named him Drop Bear. They are oddly adorable.

While waiting to tame a panthara I went out and found me these cute little guys near the rare elite panthara in the grove area.

I want a Panthara pretty bad, but until we figure them out, I decided to grab the other I was interested in

First thing I had to grab was a Marsuul. I really loved these guys, and it was hard to pick a color, but I fell in love with my crazy lil Feasel (and yes, they are forever ferret-weasels to me and I will call him such!)



The second tame... actually really surprised me. While I was questing, this guy flew right over my head. I decided to tame it on a whim, just to see their animations better. I ended up liking her a lot more than I expected, and have been using her the most so far in Argus. So I named her "Angelus", since she somehow kind of remind me of the dragon from Drakengard games lol

Oh wow that is badass! Suits your toon so well too Cas is rocking a green xmog atm might need to find one of these tonight!

On a whim I went to tame a Wild Cragscaler from Grove of Naroua, Krokuun since I always like the talbuks and after this selfie I took with Blueyes I think I will keep her.

For some reason, the Marsuuls remind me of Stitch from Lilo & Stitch. I love their size, the art style and animations. The one thing I think would have been awesome is if they had put in a sitting animation for them when we're idle.

Well. I only have one Argus pet right now. Who I should probably release in the name of 'fairness'.. Since it was apparently a bug to tame this.

A rather workaday pic, but just wanted to illustrate that there is no wing clipping with the Mana Rays. I really like the size and height above the ground; flying pets are usually much more annoying. I believe this is a temp tame until we get access to the teal rays next week, but I'll have to see

Actual response - I adore the new talbuks. I'd been wanting tamable talbuks since BC so I have a good collection of them now.

A glow kitty for each of my hunters! (they look fantastic with the inky black potions)

Finally managed to grab me an alien kitty not sure of his name yet - I'm just relieved to actually have one


Gotta love that their jaws don't do that freaky 'imma engulf the world ahh' thing that the other cats of this expansion seem to do

Hmm, I realize it might be the lighting, but which colour of Panthara is that? I thought the violet one was unavailable to us, but I can't see which other skin that might be (I've been away for a week though so maybe I missed something!)

Oh wow, I didn't even recognize the silver! No worries, I was just trying to figure out if there was a violet skin tameable that I hadn't been aware of.

That's the Alpha, isn't it? I kept failing when I tried to tame that one. I ended up taming the more common blue-grey one.

Just tamed the shadowcrazed talbuk looks cool with the effects staying as with the marsuul.
