I think the problem here is that having your pet be smaller is easier to work with than bigger. The size difference making a pet smaller would have to be miniscule, in order to keep your pet from being a hog. However, small pets, you could go *considerably* smaller and still have a 'workable' pet.

Still, here's hoping they *do* add both of them. It would make sense to me. I just worry that the 'greater size' couldn't be 'great' enough to make any sort of interesting difference. :/

I spent some time last night and tonight hacking the site into a better architecture to support multiple patches - live and on the PTR. Not all the data is up yet, but I grabbed most of the things from this thread (and linked threads).

With regards to the Florawing Needlers in Zul'Gurub, I've noticed they have both the Blue Wasp and Orange Wasp skins. Has anyone tried to tame them yet? And if so, are they colour changers or do they have their own seperate colour IDs? Would be great to know, thanks. =)

EDIT: I did read the ZG Pets (PTR) posts, but it didn't say which wasps were colour-changing, just wanted to clear it up! =3

Silly question, perhaps - but did they ever correct that problem where it seemed like our pets were doing Content damage of 100% instead of Happy damage of 125%? I'm not going to be terribly happy if I'm going to be getting a 25% pet damage nerf with patch and then am told that's "working as intended."

Great. So much for all three hunter specs being relatively equal. It was nice being competitive for a few weeks. I suppose it's back to mediocrity for beast masters until they finally realize it's bugged.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I pulled out my flaming boar pet, and fire now has nonstop crispy sound effects (no, you can't use him as a cooking fire)

Wain's list of tameable critters made me wonder: there are a couple mobs called 'Deadwind Widow'. And indeed, a trip to Deadwind Pass reveals that there are indeed spider mobs scattered about there, now, called Deadwind Widow. They use the Grey skin and are tameable.

as of the latest pre patch the pets happyness dmg bug is fixxed and pet are back doing 125% happy dmg

all so there a lil nerf to Bloodthirsty as posted in the ptr patch notes of mmo-champion

Bloodthirsty now has a 10/20% chance to heal 5% of it base health over 5 sec's, insted of 10/20% chance to heal 5% of it base health on hit,

so mite be a blow to hunters useing dp's as off tanks or for pvpers

This is something that Bloodthirsty has always done. This is just a tooltip correction.

I wouldn't get your hopes up, my dear. The bears that shared the same model as the mount in old ZA weren't tameable either. =(

would someone with PTR access mind to check these two things?

1) is the frostsaber kitten BOP or BOE?
2) do the wintersaber trainer quests become available at level 49 (like horde side) or are they still level 60?

thanks! :)
