I doubt the nest has to do with the bug. I think there will be some dragons involved, personally. I mean, the nest of a green dragon?

arygos the blue dragon from AQ is standing next to the commander in his spectral gnome form and hes still labled a ??(boss)

You can solo Skeram and get to the bug trio to tame it without trying to find people to help, just a heads up

I read up on wowhead and was able to solo Skeram, Sartura, Fankriss, and Huhuran just cause I was curious. Couldn't solo the bug trio or Viscidus.. and of course neither the Twin Emps. But ya, you can get an invite from a friend.. change it to a raid.. then have them drop and you're all set.

well then maybe it should use the damaged version of either the blue,pink,or orange brain bugs....id love to have those along side the purple/red exposed brain bug
also theres a part in the questing where you are sent into hive ashi but the quest guy is bugged and you dont gt the items you need....also theres an escort/rescue 5 people quest where the people your supposed to rescue are bugged and remain hostile but follow you
i think the first quest is called Riding in Plain Sight

That thing is horrifying. I hate bugs. I hate bugs. I haaaate bugs. IM SO GOING TO SILITHIS!! I want to see all the new changes, the fact that bugs drive me nuts will make it very interesting and less 'grab all availible quests and complete them with mild satisfaction and turn in for rewards' though Cata did do a good job pulling 1-60 out of that terrible monotony... WTB New Outland and maybe edit the WotLK quests to bring us to post-war pls!

Oh hey that roaming guy is now tameable ^.^ hes not glitched or anything either, and hes spawns fast and when I killed him again... his brain popped out... thats.. umm... uhh? um... *scratches head* and then the second time no brain..

ok so you have to hit him and get him almost to death then his head pops and his brain is exposed.. then you can tame him with the exposed brain! ew and cool

i still would like for him to use a different color than the dark purple and red........maybe the pink orange or blue would work......but the skin hes got now has enough in game counterparts......im pretty sure buru is the same way as far as taming with the shell on or with it blown off....and the hive controller has exposed brain with same colors. im so dying for an exposed blue or orange brain bug

Just out of curiosity, did you ever let it beat on you just to see if it would punt you halfway across the map like the old colossus from the AQ40 opening event?

You can easily solo the first boss which opens the way to the Orange one.

My way (and I'm not very experienced in soloing hard content):
If you fight with your pet the first Boss he will sooner or later take you over and let you kill your Pet.
So take a tank-skilled pet - I took my beetle - and start the fight. Give the Boss at least one shot yourself, then run to the side, fake death and watch your pet killing the boss.

Taming the Orange Boss will take a few tries because of knocking back and fear but if you stay near the entrance you can easily flee and reset the fight.

Still wish they'd do something more exciting with the top side-non-instance AQ. Heck, I haven't been there forever, but during Beta and live, there was AQ, a mob-less version you could go to without entering the instance. Right next to Uldum, you could juist fly right on in there. It has little channels and everything. Just no mobs.

We since decided it was just a phased version, but still. Even little wasp mobs would be cool. Or visions of the past, fake boss mobs?

I haven't been on the PTR in a while, but if it's not there, it's likely that they were working on the quests and have since put them away until a later patch (maybe 4.2 or 4.3?). What with moving Firelands to 4.2, I'm assuming that maybe the AQ/Silithus questlines may have been moved back for later.

Just making guesses here, though; like I said, I haven't gone there yet in quite a while.

EDIT: Decided instead of just wondering about it, I'd go to check. Indeed, I'm unable to find any sign of the Silithus changes that had been going on before. I'm suspecting that they are, indeed, moving it to a later patch. If not dropping the idea at all (although I sincerely doubt that).

I'd hope they're just putting it back for now...Silithus is very little changed from Vanilla, and could sorely use the update.
