OK, so I took some pics of some large pets with and without the glyph running, as far as I can tell the bigger the pet the bigger the difference, Worms most notably. I used a Blood Elf for this test.

I think you have the pics switched. The Devilsaur without gylph looks much bigger than the one with.

It's supposed to. If you read the title, it says Glyph of Lesser Proportion. ;) They changed the glyph on the PTR to make pets smaller, not bigger.

Here's a better set for clarification, I always try to get them in the same place and pose for both pics, taking the glyph out will make the present pet bigger, and no this does not work only when healing, it works all the time once the glyph is put in.

I was sooo hoping for a Glyph of Greater Proportion, mostly JUST for those demon dogs!!

Oh well, thank you for the comparison pics, that must have taken awhile to put together :)

What hunter in their right mind would want their big pets to look SMALLER?

If this is because of other classes complaining about target clicking because the pet is too big... why don't they learn how to use the target-of-target key, or the focus key, or.... TAB.

I want my Seagull to be smaller.

I can see how this might make already small pets (and foxes) look better.

Me, actually. I love how Chimaeras look, but their wings are much too big and get in the way. This Glyph will hopefully make having one a lot better. And for your information, I AM in my right mind, thank you very much.

I can see this being both useful and annoying. There are some pets I want smaller - Senna's example of a chimera, for example, is a good one. Smaller gulls is a nice idea, and I think an even smaller dog would be adorable. ^.^
However, I think I'd just be avoiding using my large pets if I had the glyph, because I like my giant devilsaur. So I'd have to keep swapping the glyph out and that'd be expensive. >.>

Yeah this is what I'm thinking. I'd love to use it for my silithids and I might even get a chimaera with this... but I certainly don't want to use it for my wolf or spirit beast. :? All in all, I think I'll pass on this one.

Hmm...I understand for the Chimaeras, but I don't see why they didn't give both sides, i.e one for small and one for big. As Pent said, the only reason I'd see big pets becoming a problem for someone other than the hunter/huntress themselves is if they don't know how to target. I would love my Devilsaur to be bigger, and my Warp Stalker, and returning Loque to his somewhat former glory...and now they're shrinking my darling Huhuran for no apparent reason...it would be nice to have the option of both, is what I'm getting at. =3

I defiantely won't be using this though, I love both my Chimaeras the size they are, even if they're slicing me in half with their wings half the time. xD

This. I can see it being nice for some pets, but not others. I was kind of hoping to keep it as greater proportion because the number of pets I wanted larger was more than the number of pets I'd like smaller.

Guess I'm just going to be giving this one a pass.

Maybe they are just trying a little bit and in the end they'll make both, it would make sense. Let's hope, so everyone will be happy.

Could also be that they ran into problems with using both kinds at the same time in closed testing, and opted to just include one instead of both?

For me personally, what would be the point of both? From what I'm seeing, a lot of people want some of their pets smaller and others bigger which means you'd have to swap between the glyphs all the time or pick one and decide whether you're okay with all of your pets shrinking or all of your pets growing. I suppose you could also use one for each spec or something.

I was looking forward to the greater proportion glyph--big pets mean a greater hassle for melee in PvP which is why I love em.

I actually toyed with this also, and I can say, at least for Loque, I do not like it. It's not the most horrid thing but, for cats including Loque, I will not be using it. Oh and Ghostcrawler is just awful. He is just a tiny glob of glow worse than he is now :D
