right but king mosh's and krush's abilities have categorized and these abilies are from user controlled spells not npc's.

They just took stuff like this away from hunter pets. The silithid webs used to cause damage and Blizzard took all damage components away from pet abilities.

They did it to try and steer players away from the "bring a wolf of GTFO" mentality. If no pet has a damage dealing ability (worms and chimeras notwithstanding), then there's a far greater chance that raid leaders will look at pets for the utility they bring instead of how much damage they do.

Let's see... Tahlian was responding to Jatbirkkal ("Wh DID they do that?") which was asked in response to your comment that they took away the damage dealing webs... so the thread kinda is about that. ;)

I agree that they look like npc abilities in light of the changes Blizz made to pets in 4.0.1, regardless how they're categorized. We'll see.
