I think it was Dark Red yeah, whereas the Orange, yellow and green one were the ones used.

Which I guess leaves purple/blue as the only current unused molten spider model+color.

Yeah, checking the database says it's the ''Orange'' fire spider model.

I guess this means the ''rarest and hardest'' of the rares will be the blue spider...

I don't feel honored that Blizzard is doing something class specific. As a paying consumer, I don't have to like every single thing Blizzard offers us. And so far, the Gondria recolors are not something I'm pleased with. I'm not going to /quit WoW over it, but I have more than a right to state I'm displeased with what's been revealed so far, aside from the spirit owl.

The pet skin the spider uses is orange, not the red one.
Or at least in my computer looks more orange than red

I went back over my point two pages back, but for the sake of burying this hatchet before it blows up in my face again I never said you had to like everything or, hell, anything. The whole rant was directed more or less at how ridiculous people going "THIS IS LAME I WANT A TOTALLY NEW SKIN" and making melodramatic sighing fits every time something new crops up is, because it makes it look like nothing is ever good enough for them. Not at the people themselves, at the attitude. It doesn't matter if it rears its ugly head once a month or every other day it still drives me up the wall even though I may get along perfectly fine with the people who do it(and I like to think I do).

And if you didn't act like that, hey, guess what, you're in the clear and this has nothing to do with you, and more importantly, thank you for being sane and rational. Keep up the good work. *thumbs up*

I don't really like the skin either. I'm not trying to stomp on your right to say anything. I'm not that stupid. :P And, like I said before, I don't normally act like this, so I apologize for my wacky outburst and no hard feelings.

I admit I'll be a little bemused if they're all SBs (because really how many SBs do you need) but by the same token... it seems entirely natural to me to have the first mobs datamined be the ones included because all the work is already done.

I myself have wanted this dumb blue tiger since the beginning of time when it was first datamined as a mere 'unused recolor' of the SB we got. I probably won't ever find him, due to everyone who -will- be camping everything shiny and new, but at least I know he's out there.

Well, I never complained about Gondria. I like her, as a matter of fact. Still doesn't mean I care for the palette swaps all that much.

It and the white one are both very pretty. I've never really clicked with Gondria because she is so pale, I normally just about see her eyes and a pinky-purply glow. These two look very much more distinct, so I rather like them. I'm thinking I will drop Gondria and Ghostcrawler, maybe even Olm, on my bigger hunter just to pick them up. I have an rp character that is a ghost tiger, but purple never worked for me. The blue or the white would fit his character wonderfully, so I'll be picking up one or both of them for sure.

I'm more disappointed in the new owl spirit beast then these two guys.

Though I would love a spirit beast in a 'family' that we haven't seen before (Gimme an F, gimme an O gimme an X. GIVE ME A FOX SPIRIT BEAST!!), I'm just shocked that we are getting so many spirit beasts all the sudden. My biggest hunter had all the SB just as a personal goal. I'm going to have to scrap that unless they give us more stable slots now. :cry:

Though to be honest I doubt I'll use them that much. Loque is still my prime spirit beast and goes everywhere with me.

I'm sorry some people are disappointed, but at least some others are happy. :hug:

This isn't some trend where Blizzard is going to just recolor old spirit beasts from now on. This is a rare occurrence where other spectral cat skins have been in the database since the model was created. Three were made, one was chosen for Gondria and two skins that many people find very beautiful were left unused. Just like many other awesome non spirit beast skins have sat unused until Cataclysm and are now available for those who want them. The only other spirit beast where this is the case is Skoll (again, 2 unused skins).

Noah has been going well beyond the call of duty to ensure missing skins are available for those who want them. It's probably approaching 200 skins now. He's been simply amazing. With the missing spectral cat skins he found a good way to ensure they were now available for those who do want them (and many people do seem to love them). I'm sure at some point in the future he'll find a way to include the missing Skoll skins too. I hope so.

You don't have to like them, and it's fine to say you prefer the original Gondria skin. But using terms like "lame" or "lazy" as if you somehow deserve them to slave over three brand special new models purely for spirit beasts in this patch, for just one spec of one class, is just absurd.
