side note anout the different positions for taming kirix, the reason i said pull with a tame beast is cuz its a 30 yard range, if u pull with any of ur other shots, wait for his cast, reflect it and try to tame theres a good chance he'll be out of range and the time it takes u to get in range will nullify your stun anyways

Also for Kirix, a minimum of 301 static haste is needed, not a haste pot or corehound hysteria. I started with 198 and kept adding more haste gear i had with me (that i had reforged for this test)till i got a successful tame 301 was the amount of haste i had which is easily obtainable without any buff or chants, more than likely most already have that much that u couldn't reforge to more crit/mastery. With my PvE set on Live i have 638. No body should have a prob with taming him even if you dont spec surv for mirrored blades for the stun, just a normal deterrence is enough.

Incoming nitpicky...Highlite their names in your paragraph of description. I know some people who just want the tame to stand around in SW and field questions on who/what/where aint gonna care but us folks here at Petopia like our pets names. Know what I mean? =)

After playing on the ptr for a few weeks I have come to know Lethotix, and i must say his expertise and help with learning spawn sites and taming techniques has been a fun experience.

I think any decent hunter that loves the "Tame" will be equipped with a great guide.

I think the goal is to gather information for all of to use with out having to google it to death.

The problem is not the tame, it's surviving what is going to be a major gank fest.
Think on it, 7 pets in a small zone, not counting the other 3 in Hyjal.

Just a humble Hunter's 2 cents.

with that last patch, kirix has been evade bugging from the tame spot i have suggested, not sure if its a bug or what

He's probably bugging out because he can't hit you there. Skarr/Karkin's old rock is still in range.

Quick question, as I don't see it anywhere in the guide, but--

Do you need to open up this area by doing dailies or pre-quests? If so, how long does it take? Or is it open right from the patch?

You need to do three days of dailies in Mount Hyjal to open up the Molten Front. Once you're in, though, you can see all seven rares in there.

I misunderstood; it looks like the red text is explaining that 4.2 is when they're released.

Edit--Oh, I see the second part. Sorry--black-backgrounded sites are kinda hard to navigate, it's just sort of a color-jumble :lol:

So the spirit beasts are accessible from day 1, but the rest need 3 days, am I reading that right?
