Hunter is meh. While I like skulls, it's just a boring set, there's no way around it.

Exactly, I see it and dont think hunter.. I adore Priest first and foremost the style is like nothing I've ever seen for a priest before and will make me level a priest in hopes of someday obtaining that wonderful set or perhaps even look alike pieces of it. I love the mage for the whole clockwork and googled thing..but hunter.. I dont see hunter to be honest I see a shaman because it reminds me of a character named Mortog in a movie I own.. and hes a shaman..

Mortog is kind of like a shaman/witch doctor combo. He wears a helm much like that one and communes with the spirit of the wild hunt.. but this is too bulky and metal looking to be based off of the wild hunt. : /

I like the hunter set a lot. Why?

a) It isn't some garish, horrible, circus-toon colorscheme. (Dragonstalker, Murlocstalker)
b) It doesn't make me look like a retarded pirate. (recent PVP set/T12, seriously, WHO'S IDEA WAS IT THAT MONOCULAR VISION IS GOOD FOR A RANGED CLASS)
c) It doesn't have ridiculous metal booty shorts with fuzzy boots. (Giantstalker)
d) I will not look like a goat-toed lawn dart. (Anub'whatever Hunter)
e) NO FREAKING EYEBALLS ON MY HEAD WHAT. (Gronnstalker)

Frankly? Sure, maybe it's not as drop dead awesome as Priest, but jesus, look at all the crap we've had foisted off on us before. Hunters have perpetually had the flat out stupidest and ugliest sets in pretty much every expac. This one may not be eye-bleedingly epic, but at least I feel I could wear it without looking like a complete tool. Also... I suspect worgen will look really damn badass in it, so. Yeah.

I love this Hunter set, completely adore it. I think it might be one of my all time favourites for PvE tiers. I'm a big fan of the WotLK style, I love dragons, and I love skulls so...all win for me. I don't tend to like the 'traditional' hunter themes, they're not to my tastes, and I always prefer sets from Warlocks and DKs as a whole, so this one's perfect. Now if I can get my hands on the purple colouration I'll be completely happy. ^^

The wing shoulders are so neat looking when you can see them from all angles. I love the spines going down the back of the hood on the hunter helm too. It's one of the first helms in a long time I'd actually have displayed.

I agree with those that think it looks more like a DK set, though if it were plate it would be more heavily armored looking.

So far I'm liking priest and lock the best. Oh, to be a clothie...

Yes, none of the tier sets has ever said 'hunter' to me. At least the look of them doesn't really matter anymore with transmog.

Actually... At first, I was like "Those shoulders are defying gravity!" But then, I saw it from the back. The shoulders are basically coiled-up wings from the back. And that is awesome.

Forsaken and male Trolls look amazing in this set.
