Thought I would make a thread for people looking for certain pieces of gear for 4.3 I figured it might be good to have somewhere to post "I'm looking for ____ Anyone know where it is?" Sorry if this is redundant.

One that I am puzzling over is the set the flightmasters often wear. I know it's available as leather, which is all well and good for my druid....but I want it for my hunter. I actually found the shoulders as a mail piece. I am wondering if anyone knows if there are more pieces in mail and if so, where?

You've probably done this already, but you can look up the original gear on Wowhead and see if there is mail gear in the 'see also' tab.

The shoulders are available as mail in the blue color, and are called Grunt's Pauldrons.
I don't know of any other blue mail pieces, unfortunately.

Shoulders, chest, gloves, pants and boots (and possibly belt and helm, I'm not sure) are available in mail, but in brown not blue.
They are called Gryphon Mail (as in Gryphon Mail Pauldrons of the Bear, etc).

They actually form part of a set I've been trying to put together, myself, mixed and matched with some other pieces.
The staff is kinda for lols, though who knows, I might use it.

And I'll look into the Gryphon Mail. Brown might work too. Also, the gloves in that pic, Pix...what are they? I have the same pants and am going to craft a chestpiece that matches, but didn't know what to do for gloves yet. Those are nice

They are called Corpse Scarab Handguards and they're from Naxx. What chestpiece matches the pants? I must not have that pattern!

ETA: I should say, I am going with what the WoW Model Viewer calls them. I don't own them myself (yet). I haven't had the WMV long and I don't know if it has all gear correctly labeled. It probably does but I mention it just in case.

OMG! That just reminded me that I can now have my squid staff on my mage again! HOORAY! I might actually start playing her again! it's my fav weapon evar <.<

I know, there are so many cool staffs out there! :mrgreen:

Unfortunately my hunter has a polearm currently, and there just aren't any cool polearms. Not like there are for staffs, anyway. Maybe I'll get an agility staff by the time we get transmorgification, though. *crosses fingers*

Oh, found another version of the feathery looking armor: Wildthorn Mail
It's crafted, blacksmithing. I picked up the plans in Strath today.
(Passed them on to my husband's warrior/blacksmith.)

Brown set: Gryphon Mail

Grey pieces (mail only):
Head: Bloomsprout Headpiece
Shoulders: Thick Scale Shoulder Pads
Chest: Wildthorn Mail
Legs: Infernal Trickster Leggings
Boots: Icy Scale Boots which still have blue feet, but as good as you can get since Boots of Endless Moor are no longer available in game.
No gloves, but any grey or green mail gloves can work.

Blue pieces (mail only):
Head: Flesh Handler's Headpiece Quest item.
Shoulders: Grunt's Pauldrons
Feet: Dreadhawk's Schynbald BoE quest reward.
All other blue pieces are leather. =(

I'm actually looking for the kilt that High Priest Venoxis wears in the new level 85 version of Zul'Gurub. I'm trying to find it for my druid, and I am having absolutely NO luck. Anyone know of it being in-game as something I can actually acquire?

I'm pretty sure that looks like the robe my priest is wearing, Ikutai--Hexing robes (http://us.battle.net/wow/en/item/69578) from Daakara. Cloth item, so you won't be able to transmog it for a druid, sorry.

He is wearing a cloth robe, actually, called Hexing Robes.

If you are looking for a green leather kilt that matches his outfit, I would suggest Kilt of Immortal Nature with chest piece Blessed Elunite Coverings.

I'll definitely try for the Kilt of Immortal Nature. I did find a stand in kilt for now, Kilt of Living Growth, while it doesn't match exactly, I think it's a decent stand in until I can farm up the Kilt of Immortal Nature.
