I think both crossbows match beautifully. I'm partial to the purple set a bit more -- but I think that's mainly cause I'm not fond of a lot of helms and that's one of the few I like.

BTW after a really good transmog run in Mythic Blackrock Foundry, I was able to come up with another mog.. Not sure about the crossbow, so if any other suggestions on this one would be appreciated. I think I will call this one "Ironclad Hunter."

There was an attempt. Not happy with the gun and theres just no helmet that matches his in style AND color that I found. I thought maybe some goggles would look bounty hunterish.

Thats actually not bad! In terms of guns, Ive seen a couple of dark green ones that could pass for a disruptor blaster..

I wanted to remain heavy and big while also enhancing the fact that the character is a female and like so, has curves. Many could simply call it slutmog, but I don't like doing so.

The gun is not the one I planned, it's a placeholder. Very hard gun to drop and rare in AH. But I already saved the money for when it will come up.

This set is also supposed to be used with:
Red Gronn / Red Boar / Galakras mounts ( alrdy got the first and 3 achievements away from the 3rd )
Orc-ish pets ( such as Boars )

I like the Boba Fett outfit a lot. What gun were you planning on using?

That reminds me, remember that lighter brown/tan leather transmog I did? Well I was sorting through some other of the guns I've collected, and realized those steampunk-like guns from the Ulduar raid in the WotLK expansion, would go really well with this transmog...so I did just that.





So, would this qualify as a "Steampunk Hunter?"

Nice! Love that helm with the fire set -- where's it from?

Its one of the PVP helms from WoD. you can get it from one of the vendors in Ashran. The shoulders are part of that tier set for the helm as well...but the rest is from Cata...cept the crossbow and cape.

I couldn't really decide where to put this, but my handsome, lovely boy finally has the artifact appearance that I can only assume was made especially for him. It was an arduous trek, completing both the Balance of Power quest chain and Glory of the Legion Hero, but it was worth every moment. <3 My bird son finally has his perfect bird bow. (I had to throw in a shot of the character selection screen because Cas is currently taking care of a little hippogryph buddy that hides his shoulders in game, and they really complete the look)
