Hunter armor models in Mists

Since this information is scattered all over the boards, let's consolidate it here so it's easy to find. Note that the Wowhead pages include links to their item viewer that will let you see how the armor sets look on different races and genders.

I've taken down the Wowhead link until they get the set working with their character viewer. Here are two similar sets in (currently) unavailable colors.

Quest reward gear: lower-level quests. I suspect the 'female' and 'male' armor models got reversed for these sets in the Wowhead model viewer, although I would love it to death if there was a set where the men showed more skin than the women.

Quest reward gear: higher-level quests. Now with matching shoulders for the green and white sets.

Cloaks! Holy cats, there are a lot of new cloak designs coming out, and some of them are gorgeous. I'll link a couple of my favorites here. Click on the figure or the link below to see the whole assortment.

Here's something fun: reaching exalted with the Shado-Pan lets you buy a Replica Shado-Pan Helmet for transmogging purposes. Check it out in the Wowhead item viewer--you can see the wearer's breath, and the end of the scarf moves in the breeze. It's pretty slick.

What else is out there? Comments are welcome...let's see if we can keep this up to date.

I for one had not seen the bottom/last one before, I can certainly see come nice colors and pieces there that would work really well with other already in game for moggin, looks swell

The "reputation sets" (especially the second one!) are the only ones that interest me, wonder how we'll be able to get them?

Thanks for all the positive comments! Yeah, I hadn't seen those "reputation sets" before either. I like that first set (red and gold) myself; it should look good with my guild's colors.

The set with the wolf shoulder is the PvP set. I've edited the top post to make it more clear.

Thank you for posting all those. There are some really varied and cool (or at least interesting) sets coming

The feathered hats sit kind of odd on the head, but I can't help but love them, they're so unusual.

And I suspect that "crop top" armour is simply missing a texture, rather than sex-swapped. It shows a very abrupt cut-off at the point where the lower armour texture file takes over.

Some of those intermediate helms are interesting, but the challenge mode certainly wins for me. I will tmog that tier set for sure.

Anyway, the challenge mode armor is now available in the Wowhead item viewer, and I've found the matching shoulders for the green and white leveling armor sets. Still no sign (that I can find) on where to get those reputation sets....

as pretty as the new cloaks we've been recieving through cata and now MoP are.... i really gotta say that i really do not like the shapes they're coming in. I like the original shapes we've had from vanilla to wrath. I havent been able to happily wear a cloak with display on ever since getting either an HoT cloak or the Thrall questline cloak or a valor cloak. Really depressing ._. I love those designs up there, the purple and orange/yellow, and the blue are my favorites.. but they'll forever remain hidden or transmogged on my chars >_<

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the bizarre tapered or split cloaks. I like the plain old long model the best.

I'm not a fan of the blade-shaped cloaks either, but the ones I really don't like are the ones that are split up the back like the green one below. The purple/blue style, on the other hand, I can live with. Is that a new style, or was it around before?

OK, so it looks like some things got shaken up in the last patch.

-- Crafted PvP gear is using the yellow and blue "birthday cake" armor model.

-- Purchased PvP gear is now using the challenge mode armor model. (Feathered hat, dragon shoulder.)

-- Challenge mode is still giving the challenge mode armor in game, but if you go to the Wowhead item viewer it shows the PvP armor model (spiky helm, wolf shoulder) painted with the challenge mode textures. This is...not attractive.

I'll hold off on updating the top post until this stabilizes...it could just be that Blizzard doesn't have all the art done for the PvP sets, or it could be a change that sticks.
