Serious discussion, I want to find out how far people have gone to get a particular item for their sets. For me, I would say the most extreme thing I've done was to recently go to extraordinary lengths in order to get a couple of BoP leather chest pieces for my Rogue. Here's what happened: Upon learning that the Primalstorm Breastplate was BoP and required me to reach 330 skill in Leatherworking to obtain it, I immediately dumped Alchemy at max level (and specialization) without hesitation, picked up Leatherworking and leveled it up to 330, created the Primalstorm Breastplate and one other BoP chest piece, then dumped Leatherworking and re-leveled Alchemy to 600 again. The price tag I paid for this totaled around 12,000 gold, and the only reason it wasn't in the 15,000 to 20,000 range was because I had a small stash of low and mid level leathers I had skinned with my DK some time ago.
So, to what lengths have any of you gone to get something in order to complete a set or look you want?
