Outlaw rogue, perhaps?

Hey guys!! I read the comments on the post and someone said: Summon your Green Wing Macaw pet. So I tried it.

What to do:

Summon your Green Wing Macaw pet.
A grapple Hook icon pop up. Click on it.
You will go up the wall.
You will see the NPC Captain Bramblebeard. He is offering a quest!
You have to collect 100 Bloodied Defias Bandanas off the mobs in Deadmine.
I don't know if you have to be a rogue for this or not, because I did it on my rogue.


edit: Bloodied Bandanas drop in normal, but it seems the quest can only be picked up and completed on heroic?


Completing the quest will reward you with the item to unlock the Blackened Defias Armor transmog set.

SWEET! Thank you for this! Time to send my druid in and see if it's rogue-only. If it is, fortunately I have a rogue who can fix that.

I'd like to chime in and say that if it is rogue only, you likely will ONLY be able to use the pet on your rogue.
I can't confirm this though. I am only going off of what I remember hearing a while back. That the class specific pets can ONLY be used by that class.

Entered with my druid. Went over to where the ghost parrot was. Green wing macaw was summoned. No grappling hook icon at all.

I'm going to go in with my rogue now, to see if I'm doing it wrong, or if it *is* rogue-only.

EDIT: Went in with the rogue. *Still* nothing. Where were you standing when the icon appeared? Where did the icon appear on your screen when you summoned the macaw? I think we're going to need more details here to confirm this.

I don't believe this works at lower levels. My rogue's only level 90 and I see nothing to interact with.

My rogue is level 107. Unless it's a 110-only quest...?

This *is* 'Outlaw Rogue only'.

I had to change specs to be able to get the hook. Once I respecced to Outlaw, however, it appeared.

Sorry guys!! I forgot to mention his spec. Yes he was outlaw spec, and he is only level 100, but y'all have figured it out now. ^^

More information:

- The quest can be taken in Normal mode as well as Heroic (I just picked it up).
- Changing specs after taking the quest does *NOT* interfere with picking up bandannas (I changed back to Subtlety and was able to loot them just fine)
- Bandannas drop from almost any mob in there, *including* the parrots, so don't be afraid to kill en masse.
- These also apparently drop from Defias-type mobs *outside* the dungeon.
- When I took the quest on normal, the bandannas would *not* drop for me in heroic.

One round of normal mode up to the boat and partial clear yields more than enough bandanas for the quest turn in.

So if you can get the quest in normal mode, what's the lower limit on character level?
