Hmm I hope they do change it I mean dash? really? mages/locks get a heal, id prefer that then movement speed increase and getting rid of roots and snares really. Its not really that useful unless theres a fight purely regarding movement and snares etc. Pallies get rebirth which would be helpful during raid but I gotta feel bad for the rogues.. they get taunt lol. Rogues can tank pretty long with evasion but I can see the whole taunt thing backfiring hahaha.

While i am loving this ability, i am not looking forward to randoms and LFR with people begging me for my symbiosis -_-

Plus it's a bit underwhelming what with us having Hunter's Call and all.

Wait, but what does it actually do? As far as I can tell, you cast it on someone, they gain a bonus and you gain one of their abilities?

I always find sprint effects useful, especially if they're also removing snares. On the other hand, you're right in that it's a utility ability.

I too found it just a tad underwhelming. If they wanted to give us a more movement Utility style symbiotic link, I would have loved us to get Stampeding Roar. It has a little bit more of a "huntery" feel to it and it not only has the ability to help yourself, but others also... but that's just imo :)
