Dragon turtles are a maybe!

Didn't see this posted anywhere, but from the last update on MMO-Champion:

The Pandaren may also have a dragon turtle mount that will look different from the one obtained through fishing.

Let's hope there's a non-riding model as well

Hoooooooo that looks insane! And those are really bad graphics for nowadays (epic ones for the age of the game, i havent seen games yet from that time period that follow that same gameplay that have better graphics then that.. but of course i hardly stray from ones that i am familiar with)

It's good to never judge a game by it's graphics as they don't make a game good. I've found older games to be very good and better than alot of newer ones XD Warcraft 3 is a very good game and I think most Warcraft fans should try it! (I only tryed it last year and man it's good!)

So it's good your not judgeing it (Sorry it's a pet peeve of mine XD)

Oh yea it peeves me when people dont understand that a games graphics can only be as good as when it was created unless its an online game such as WoW where they have the money and means -to- upgrade it and desires to do so. I have a game called Heroes 3 Complete that was made in 2000. Great graphics but when you look at Heroes 4, big jump. But Heroes 4 is a horrible game imo, i struggled majorly with it. Heroes 3 Complete is amazing <3

It also depends on the gameplay.. that i feel can impact the graphics of older games since they require different graphic techniques. The WC games will always be fabulous no matter how amazing we become at creating detailed video games.

And i have to agree with Tsuki, how is the saddle gonna sit on those spikes o_O

Thats becouse thats what the turtle models based off Thats what Dragon turtles in WoW look like well intill they release the new model. Go play Warcraft 3 you'll see what I'm talking about.

that is what I meant might not have been clear in my fist post (still waking up )
the dragon turtle models in warcraft 3 are used in wow as normal turtle models or at least heavily based on it.

so it would be strange if they use the current model for dragon turtle mounts

but then again I wouldn't be surprised if the use the current model and just slap some dragon like whiskers on it :S

that why I am hoping the model is based on the statue you see in the screen shot. with the dragon like snout and paws.

I have a model of one made from that red plastic stuff you usually find in Chinese/feng shui shops and seems to fit the bill of Dragon Turtle! It would be sweet to get a baby one as a pet too or to even have it as part of the mount! xD
