Mushan seem to be getting some interesting animations in model viewer. It seems like they now have functional swimming and jumping animations typically untameable models dont get these as up until recently the skeleton that rhinos and thunder lizards used didnt have a swim animation. Now it seems that all models except clefthoove have these animations not sure what it means but i think it could be a good sighn

That IS good news. I'd really really like a Yak...aren't they on the same skeleton?

The mushan beasts have had those animations since the beginning of beta, they're identical to kodos and kodo mounts.

I kinda thought so. I hope they aren't tameable cause they just don't seem like hunter pets. Cranes was pushing it. these two are just a bit silly.

They weren't intentional, but GC has said that Procupines will be in a new family and Silkworms are being added to worms.

When did he say that? Noah says it is unintentional. The last thing GC said was about account mounts.

Oh is that what that one is about....eh....I kinda hope he'll reconsider. The two still seem really....out of place.

Noah said that silkworms and porcupines being flagged as tameamble RIGHT NOW was an error. He said nothing about what might or might not happen in the future. :)

Just had to clarify, since he's our inside advocate. <3 (And who, no doubt, is part of the reason GC responded so quickly to the thread on the Blizzard forums. I don't know that for a fact, but my gut says so. :) )

Hoping something doesnt become tameable is depressing for those who really wish for it, especially if blizzard made an oopsie and let them get flagged for a time while tweaking

Nope considering not many actually know about it and the smart ones know beta is never set in stone for what is going to be in MoP and hunters are not the majority in WoW either. :)

With that said, it was just my opinion. I find them to not be good as hunter pets. I'd rather them focus on something less silly...like new spirit beasts.

I'd rather have these than new spirit beasts. IMO

I agree, I'd much rather have entirely new familys (or skins) than one or 2 SB's that only a handful of dedicated or lucky campers will get.

Then you REALLY won't be happy. GC hinted at a spirit porcupine. Could be a porcupine spirit beast coming. xD Personally, I think the silkworms, cranes, and porcupines are no more silly than monkeys, seagulls, brain bugs, sporebats, scary moths, tallstriders, worms, and beetles. You just have to think in WoW terms, rather than reality. Sure, a tiny silkworm irl wouldn't be a good pet. But a 200 lb silkworm that can charge at you, burrow underground, and whatnot...that is terrifying. I'd want one. xD
