Any guesses on when Mop Launch?

As the topic says.. are there any hints on when MoP will be released.. I my self guessed before the schools summer vacation but not sure

Thats way too early. Beta is barely finished. It was only launched in the middle of march, if you recall. So it's only been 2 months since Beta School lets out(around here) at the end of May. So my guess would have to be November.

You guessed that MoP would be released in the next few weeks, then? ... Eh, I doubt that somehow, lol.

I'd assume around the same time that Cataclysm was released, so November/close to Christmas time. It's their best bet that loads of people will buy it around that time. Personally, I kind of hope it's released then, because I'm not ready for it just yet. I'm not 100% sure I even want to buy it. But AC3 comes out in November as well so, lol, I'm going to be busy with video games. (And university! D:)

Im kinda good with the fact that it will take some more time for it to be released.. but at the same time very excited about when its going to hit

In the past, Beta has lasted 3-4 months.

So the best guess is late June/early July.

In the past, there were extensive alphas. They put things into beta earlier this time, it seems...so I think the beta will last longer than 'usual.' As for when? Probably late summer at earliest, but probably fall/early winter.

8-9 months of 4.3 sounds scary though.

I'll easily put my guess on the usual launch times Nov-Dec. I really can't see MoP launching anytime before Sept. If it was going to be that soon, we would've already heard about a Collector's Edition release. Seeing as Blizzard hasn't even announced the CE package (but the fact we know there will be one due to MMO-champion finding the CE "mount and minipet"... I'm guessing that it won't be a summer release.

Some are saying July/august while some are thinking Nov. Beta seems to be doing not that badly, we are getting more and more builds and alot of stuff are coming out. They still have a ways to go but there is always the chance that they have alot of content already progressed nicely behind the scenes. They have been working hard on this since most likely 4.2 so it has been in the works for awhile and with no blizzcon they are pretty much determined to just work hardcore on MoP. I am going to try and be optomistic

Thinking im going to see be doing dragon soul in November is quite the disturbing thought. Remember they also do not plan on launching any major patches until MoP so no little raid to keep people occupied until the next expansion. The progress so far seems to be pretty neat, its still beta a heck of alot of bugs but beta is beta. But with sooo many testing I am hoping it is helping them to make MoP a smooth process.

They can't stretch out DS until Nov, even my casual guild is 4/8 heroic now. If they waited that long, they would loose a LOT of the playerbase to GW2 and other games.

Honestly, I'd prefer not to have it come out just as School begins again... If anything, the November release date that's the precedent works great for me b/c I can grind out the levelling on my main while on break, and be cap throughout most of the x-pac.

Not likely no, they just finished handing out their beta invites and are working on a lot of buggy things still.

I'd kinda prefer it if it wasn't released during the summer, because I'm starting university after the summer holiday and god knows how busy I'll be to start with...
