So, I figure why not have a thread for questions being asked and answered? It could be like a resource, and I could make a FAQ at the beginning for every question asked here, and other threads as well if the question is asked frequently enough. ^^

So, got a question? Ask away! And I or any other Petopian might know the answer and can kindly tell you. ^.^

Uh...okay. So we have a family of "Water Striders". So far I've only seen the fen striders, and I was expecting the new MoP water striders.....soo..do we get those?

We are getting the Pandarian insects as well, most are just not flagged yet. Ironically the only ones that are reside in the starting zone, which are unobtainable to newbie pandaren due to the exotic requirement. :lol:

I'm sure most of the unflagged creatures will be fixed in the next build.

Probably an obvious question, but… goats. Are they exotic, or no? For that matter, which of the new tamables are the exotic ones, and which aren't?

As far as I know only the Quilen, Water Striders, and silkworms (will be in Worm family) are exotic.

This is correct!

I posted a full list elsewhere, but this thread is likely to get more attention.

Exotic: Quilen, Silkworms (worms), Water Striders
Non-Exotic: Basilisks, Cranes, Goats, Porcupines

I have ALOT of questions

1. Is wands going to be 2 handed since all ranged is removed or will the wand feature be removed totally?

2. If the wands are going to be treated like 2 handed weapons, how big are they?

3. Have transmorgging rules been changed so chat u now can transmorg legendary? Or 2 h axe to 2h sword? soo hoping that they will

4. Does the void bank come with more storrage?

5. How big are the new player made bags and are the mats still totally insane?

6. What ilvl are the new green lvl 85 gear and what can you make as green lvl 85 gear as a tailor/blacksmith/leatherworker.

7. I noticed that my pet now will try to turn the mobs back towards me when im figthing.. do the pets do that in MoP when soloing and then get behind the mob when in grp?

8. Which new ability does the cat family have now that agi/str buff is taken away?

9. Does cover still exsist in MoP? I always thought it was soo useless and have it turn off all the time.

10. I also nosticed from the MoP posting that more rare pets are being reskinned elsewhere.. so just curios if Krush and the golden worm are being reskinned as a normal tame anywhere?

11. Are the spiked spiders still stupidly small after tame? Spiked spiders e.g.

think i leave it at 11 questions for now

Wait, no. I have A LOT of answers.

1. Wands are going to work like ranged weapons do. They'll be in the player's main hand slot. Like hunters, casters will no longer need stat sticks.
2. See above!
3. Nope, no changes, sorry!
4. Void storage appears to be the same in terms of quantity. At least the level 30 guild perk does reduce the costs related to it by 10%! (Which is something, anyway.)
8. The agi/str buff hasn't been replaced yet. All of that stuff is still in flux.
10. No sign of a Krush clone or another golden worm thus far. Neither model suits Pandaria, so if something like that were to happen, it'd be outside the new continent.

That's all I know offhand. ^_^

just that they will be equipped in main hand

curios wehter or not ot safe some of my more spectacular wands incase they get big like staffs

or if they work like a 1h and could be equipped with an off hand

Bugger that u cant transmorg freely among weapons yet like u can with bow to gun/crossbow

See above means that wands are staying the same size they are currently. Our ranged weapons didn't get any bigger just because they're in our main hand now.

Not sure about offhands offhand.

1. 2. Wands are main hand weapon meant to be used with off-hands. My 21 panda mage on beta has some green wand in main hand and blue lantern from SFK in off-hand. No size changes.
3. At least not yet.
4. Last I checked, void storage was bugged. Probably intentionally to reduce amount of data stored on beta.
5. I don't think new bags are in yet. But I'd expect last size+2 or +4.
6. I think it's 4.3 heroic ilevel.
7. My pets on MoP keep rotating around the target - and interestingly, get behind him when he's doing some frontal cone damage effect (maybe they already do it on live - just noticed it yesterday on beta). Don't know why they run around so much, but then again, I don't understand rogues either.
8. I think the cat ability is untouched as of now.
9. Yes, cower is still there. It's meant as threat reduction in instances.
10. I saw only two unique rare skins re-used: green shale spider is now not only Jadefang (new jade "nibblers" in Jade Forest) and Ghamoo-Ra/Tortolla skin on "Shen-Zin Ancients" in Krasarang (which may be a PH model for the dragon turtles).
11. Yes. All spiders are rather small upon tame. My panda hunter has tamed that exact spider, and he was still small.

5.. always feelt that bags were to small.. i could eazy see 30 slots bags... but dont want the mats to be insane.

Currently there are a big difference in dps output between the different hunter spec.. i.e survival outdps bm.. or atleast i do that on tårnfalk .. do around 25k with survival and around 20 as bm.. not to big a difference but its still there.

Are the dps output more "even" with MoP and the different spec?

And is there a cookiecutter talent spec for each talent like there are now?

I think RF loot has higher level than EoT/WoE/HoT. That'd make you keep your purples for about half a level.

The usual DPS meter add-ons are disabled (like all add-ons), so we can't know for sure, but BM DPS feels rather high while questing (but my pets, while doing more damage, also take more damage - don't know if intended)

Surely some specs will always take certain talents, but overall it's much better than now.

Trust me: when the rare tameables appear, the explosion will be *massive*. You won't miss it! Just watch for the Wain posts.

... I'd say the 'Wain or Kurasu' posts, but I don't do beta. I like surprises too much. I only troll PTR.
