Humanity is like a plague,
it spread and spreads,
with no way to stop it.
Nature has tried,
and failed.
so what will come,
to stop the epidemic
called humanity.

but only a few are chosen,
to be loved, and cared for,
those who are rare,
are normally chosen,
but what about those who are common?
those who are often killed and skinned,
or slaughtered for quests in the bunches.
those who one looks out, and sees many of them,
Ripe for slaying.
those who many laugh at,
because they are so poor.
What about those pets?
dont they get love?
dont they get hope?
no.
they get cast aside, left behind
by those who are newer, and rarer.
so for the ones who gives one of these common pets a home
you are doing more then just picking up a new friend,
you are giving them hope,
that one day, they will be love again.

Life
It's the animals crying to the ending summer sun,
It's the cruel winter proving who is worthy to survive,
It's the plant and the challenge to grow and survive,
It's a dandelion dancing in the simple summer sun,
Life
It's not about who is the smartest,
Or who is the fastest,
Or who can build the best
but who can survive in this ever changing place Life calls,
home.

Endless flight,
When will my master say i can land?
When will he say i can eat?
Flight,
That's all that matters to him
Is that i can fly.

Let me live on the ground again?
I fall,
My wings are busted,

The master is angry,
I cower,
But it does nothing
To save me,

I feel warm gentle hands,
Lifting me up,

To a place of safety,
But what is there for me?
I don't know how i am,
Or anything about walking,
Only flight

Hoping
For somebody

Never stopping
The Master fears me
But hates me as well
I wont fly

No matter how much he beats me

Joy
The school day has ended
My bus is going home
Singing along
Having fun
On one side,
Houses
On the other
A ditch, and dense forest
Coming up on a road
A car comes out,
And hits us.
It does little,
But the truck next does alot
Into the ditch
The bus flips
And lands in the forest
We know
Us students who can,
Run.
Fear,
Running,
Hearing shouts,
They come,
To catch us
But they must not
Not ever,
Shall we must be caught
I run.
A tree looms a head
I leap
And feel my body hit the tree
I let my Animal spirit take over
Squirrel.
I sit,
On my branch
And wait
I hear a thud
And Bluejay joins me
I can hear,
Through the silent woods,
The rest of us,
Change,
And run to live
Then,
A roar.
Bear,
Has awoken
I hear screams
Human,
Not beast,
I see the poachers,
Police,
Hunters,
And more,
Come running,
They are afraid
Of Bear.
I see Bear,
She stops short of my tree,
I leap down,
As the others come out
We turn back to our humanly form,
None has been taken,
Yet.
Bear returns to sleep,
She's so small,
Always sleeping,
Unless danger to us is near.
We pick her up,
And head off in the woods,
They will need us,
We thought together,
Soon,
Not now,
But soon,
Very soon,

When will i get to come out?
It's not that much better,

And cooler pet.

Howling,
At the full blue moon,
I wonder,
Why,
I was chosen,
To be,
Star,
The hope guider,
The white wolf,
The protector of this world,
Called Earth.
I Know,
I am lonely,
No friends,
For they have gone,
Their time,
Has passed,
But yet,
I still live on.
I was happy,
In my old life,
But then,
The news one day,
Showed,
A beast,
Bigger,
Then a human,
Bigger,
Then a house,
Go through,
The downtown,
Of my city.
Then,
This small cat,
Was shown,
Stalking up,
To this big beast.
The cat leaped,
And fought.
Many where amazed,
That such a small cat,
Could hurt,
Such a big thing.
Then,
In one shot,
The cat was seen,
Flying,
With her wings,
Spread out wide,
As the golden sun light,
Fell on her wings,
She shot forward,
In a Death shot,
And struck the beast,
Hard.
But,
As the beast,
Went down,
It's huge paw,
Struck Her.
As the dieing sun,
Fell, and the moon came out,
A single voice rang out,
Heard,
Across the world,
"No!"
The world,
Every living beast,
Stopped,
For,
The beast,
The star,
The hope,
Has gone,
Like the fleeting sun,
Or the whispering wind,
Gone.
No stars shone,
As the world mourned.

What came next?
The naming,

Star of Hope.
The hunting,

Who would be chosen?

Who would be chosen?
Who would be spared?

That changes their life,

I watched,
As the hunts went on.
I was lucky,

Out in the middle,
Of nowhere.

And our dog.

Of a wolf,
Though.
Then,
One day.
A knocking,
At our door.
My mother,
Answered.

He shows up,

Was yet named.

She is guarding Star's body.

Star of Hope.
Days pass,
Those,
Who knock at our door,
Are killed,
They bring,
All sorts of weaponry.
Knives, Poisons, Chains,
And many more,
But none,
Phase Moon.
We watch,
As the other 3,
Go down.
The Russian,
Dead.
The Chinese,
Proven not to Be Star.
The Japanese,
Dead.
Me,
And my friend,
Are the last 2.
Then,
On the night,
Of a full,
Blue moon.
Moon,
Leaves.
She goes,
Out into the open.
And howls.
Wolves,
And other creatures,
Howl.
To the full blue moon,
As a ghostly spirit,
Runs,
Up to the stars.
I watch,
And Moon's body,
Shines,
I do not realize,
When I walked out,
Sat down,
And howled.
My Voice,
Clear,
And strong,
Lifted up,
And up,
And up,
Into the heavens
For all to hear.
The stars,
In the sky,
Shone bright.
Shining,
Their approval.
I had lasted,
Longer then the rest.
Refusing to give in,
Helping Moon,
Take down the stronger assassins.
Instead,
Of cowering,
In the corner.
Now,
Years later.
Millions of years later,
I wonder,
How would my life be different,

I just gave in?

I wasn't chosen.

A blank page,
Waiting for Spring to come and paint it!

The brush that creates the flower,

A single splotch of color,
Lighting up this boring land,

For the paint to follow,
To color this place I call home!

A memory,

Drifting white stars,
Dancing above my head,
With out a care,
Nor a worry.
They bring one peace,
But makes one ponder,
What would one do,
To be with them,

To escape the painful things,
That bind us to this world?
