Here's the next part~
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Shadow stood at the mouth of the cave, staring at the sky as it started to grow lighter. He felt uneasy, a lot of the older wolves did.
"Something just doesn’t feel right." Dawn said, sitting next to him.
"Yeah." Shadow said, looking at Dawn.
"Shadow, Dawn." Darkness said, walking up. "You two go get some rest, neither of you had rest since Suki was taken." Shadow looked at his father.
"I doubt I'll be able to sleep." he said.
"Try." Darkness said.
Dawn stood up and pressed her nose into Shadow. "Come on Shadow, some rest would be good for us." Shadow looked at her, and then pushed himself to his feet. Darkness watch as the two wolves went to a spot away from the other wolves and laid down.
"Those two seem to be getting along." Midnight said, walking up to Darkness.
"Reminds me a lot of us when we were that age." Darkness agreed.
"Come on." Midnight said. "It’s time to go hunting." Darkness looked at the wolves gathering and nodded his head. Without another word, the group of 12 wolves departed from the cave.

Snow's eyes slowly opened.
"Did I sleep all day and night? Or have I just not been asleep that long." She said to herself.
"You slept all day and night." Melody said, sitting down next to Snow.
"So, I slept through the moonless night." Snow said, pushing herself into a sitting position.
"Yeah. You needed the rest, which is why no one disturbed you." Melody said. Snow looked at the sky.
"Something doesn’t feel right." she said.
"A lot of your pack seems uneasy." Melody said.
"That’s because the Demons have retrieved the artifacts." A voice said. Snow pushed herself to her feet when she heard the voice.
"Who was that?" Melody asked, looking around and see all the wolves either on the feet or with their head up, including ones that had been sleeping.
"The First." Snow said, as the ghostly form of a white wolf appeared.
"The First?" Melody asked. "The First White wolf?" She looked at the spirit.
"Yes, I am the first White Wolf." The spirit said.
"What artifacts are you talking about?" Snow asked.
"The Moon Artifacts." he said.
"But how? Demons cannot get past the barriers that were placed. Unless..." Snow said, her thoughts turning to Suki.
"They had the help of a human." It said.
"Suki..." Melody said.
"Yes, it was the one you know as Suki." He said.
"What should I do?" Snow asked.
"You must get the artifacts back before it’s too late."
"What do these artifacts do? Why are they so important?" Melody asked.
"With them, the demons can destroy my power source, the moon." Snow said.
"Destroy the moon?" Melody asked.
"Yes." Snow said.
"They also need the blood of a Demon, Human, and Wolf. They already have 2 of the 3." The First said. Snow let out a growl.
"We need to find their cave and launch an attack before they can capture a wolf. Thank you for telling me." Snow said, looking at the spirit.
"That is not the only thing I came to tell you." he said.
"What else is there?" Snow asked.
"The pack will be betrayed." The wolf said.
"Betrayed?” Snow said, looking at the spirit. "But who would betray us..." Snow looked at the ground. "Suki...?" She whispered, and the spirit gave one quick nod, and then disappeared. 'Why would she help them...?’ She thought to herself.
'It appears as if she has fallen for their leader.' The quiet whisper of the First spoke in her head.
"What should we do about this?" Darkness asked. "You know what it means. That both of these things are happening at the same time."
"I do." Snow said.
"Our time is almost over. We must hurry to prevent the destruction of the moon, and us in turn." Midnight said. Snow looked at Melody, who had retired to the back of the cave, then at all the wolves who gathered around her. "When the time comes, we must do what has to be done." She said, sorrow in her eyes.

Suki sat at the mouth of the cave, watching the forest as it started to grow dark. She had awoken a couple hours before, and now wondered where he was. She glanced at her arm, and thought.
'What am I going to do?' She thought to herself. 'I’m a Human, a fighter sworn to protect her people with everything she has, and a trusted friend of Snow and the Wolves of the Night. What am I doing here falling in love with a Demon...?’
She let out a sigh and rubbed her arm, which was fully healed thanks to the help of the Demons. She glanced at the sky, searching for the moon. She found it, just barely peeking over the trees. Suki pushed herself to her feet, and walked into the cave. She didn’t much like this cave; it was hard for her to see in at night. She stopped as she felt her foot hit the leg of a demon, and it growled.
"Sorry." She said, and turned back around. "Why couldn’t I wake up in the morning?" She mumbled as she walked back to the entrance of the cave. "I can’t see in this cave for shit." She leaned against the side of the cave, and stared at the stars.
"Grandma, Snow, Shadow, Darkness, Midnight...How are all of you? Were Snow and her wolves even able to get to the village in time to save it? Would Blaze even tell me if she wasn’t?" Suki stood there, lost in her own thoughts, when Blaze returned to the cave. He saw her, and walked over to her. He sat down next to her, knowing that she hadn’t noticed him yet and not wanting to scare her. A couple minutes past before Suki finally noticed Blaze.
"How long have you been sitting there?" She asked, sitting down as well.
"Not very long." He said. "How long have you been up?"
"A couple hours." She replied.
"I’m sorry I was out so long." He said.
"It’s fine." She said.
"I’m going to let you leave in the morning." He said after a couple minutes.
"What?" She asked, looking at him.
"You don’t seem happy here. And you're probably still afraid of me and my Demons." He said, looking at her.
"I’m not afraid of you." She said. "But I do miss Snow and the others."
"I can tell." He said. "I'll take you to the edge of the forest when dawn nears, so you don’t get lost or attacked by my scouts." He said. "Besides. There’s no reason to keep you here, since I have the blood and the artifacts." He said.
"I guess there’s no reason for me to be here then." She said, hiding the hurt she felt.
"I'll come get you when it time." he said, standing up and walking into the cave. She remand sitting, unable to even bring herself to look at where he was sitting moments before. Forcing back her tears, she turned her mind back to the wolves and her village.

Sorry this one took a while (and that the last couple updates have been taking a while. >.<) I decided to change a part with this update because it didn't really fit anymore and I decided on a different thing to have happen.

Here's the next part~
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Suki sat in the cave entrance staring at the dark forest in front of her. It had been 2 hours since Blaze had left her, and she hadn’t moved an inch.
"I can’t stay here." She whispered to herself. "I shouldn’t make him go through the trouble of taking me back. I could just find my own way back..." She knew that was a lie, but she pushed herself to her feet anyways. She looked around her, at the dark forest, then above it, and located the moon.
"Heading towards the moon will probably be my best bet, and I won’t get lost as easily if I keep it in front of me." She started to walk, not allowing herself to glance back into the cave, not wanting to chance seeing him.

Snow walked out of her cave, and towards the forest. She entered the forest, and stopped to look behind her to make sure she wasn’t being followed. When she saw no one was following her, she continued on. Feeling restless, she broke into a run, and pushed herself to run as fast as she could. She only stopped when she sensed something near her. She sniffed the air, smelling a familiar sent in the wind.
"Suki?" she asked herself, and walked in the direction the sent came from. As she walked, she started to hear the sound of crying, and smell salt in the air. "Is she crying?" Snow asked, feeling worried. Snow slowed down as she saw Suki, and walked towards her. "Suki?" She asked, stopping a couple feet away from her.
"Snow?" Suki asked, looking up, eyes red from her crying.
"What’s wrong, Suki?" Snow asked, completely forgetting about what the First told her, to worried to care. Suki didn’t answer, but crawled over to Snow, wrapped her arms around her, and buried her head in her fur. "It’s ok." Snow said to her friend. "You're safe. I’m here now."
"I’m a moron." Suki finally said after a couple minutes. "I shouldn’t have helped them; I should have just waited in that first cave."
"I should have gotten back faster." Snow said, watching Suki as she moved away a little. "If I had they never would have been able to take you."
"None of this is your fault." Suki said. "He had this planned out all along."
"He?" Snow asked.
"Blaze, the demons leader." Suki replied.
"So, he calls himself Blaze." Snow said. The two sat there in silences for a couple minutes. "Suki, can I ask you something?" Snow finally asked.
"Sure." She said, looking at Snow. Snow explained what the First had told her.
"The First told me you had falling in love with Blaze. Is that true?" She asked. Suki sat there for a moment.
"I...Yes." She finally said. "He just, he looks so much like a human, the only thing that gives away that he’s not is his eyes. But I don’t think he feels the same way towards me."
"So, that’s why you helped them." Snow said.
"Yeah." Suki said, sighing. "But now I’m wishing I didn’t. I feel like I let everyone down." Snow looked at Suki, and then out at the surrounding forest.
"We're not alone." She said, standing up.
"What?" Suki said standing up as well and moving closer to Snow.
"I sense a demon." She said, letting out a growl.
"Only 1?" Suki asked.
"Yes." Snow said looking in the direction she sensed the demon in.
"Maybe it’s him." Suki said.
"Blaze?" Snow asked.
"Yeah...He was going to escort me to the edge of the forest, but I didn’t feel like waiting so I left without him." Suki said.
"I'd love to rip his throat out." Snow said. "But it would probably be better if we left before he decides to attack." Snow said.
"Yeah, all he’s missing is the Wolf blood." Suki agreed.
"Get on my back, and I'll take you back to the cave." Snow said. Without a word, Suki climbed onto Snows back. Snow turned towards the cave, and started to run.

Blaze stood in the darkness, watching Suki and the White Wolf; he heard some of what the two had talked about. He watched the White Wolf, knowing how easily it would be to attack her and get the blood he needed now, but he held himself back, and watched Suki. 'I can get the blood later.' He thought to himself. 'She’s safe, and that’s all that matters right now.' He watched as the two left, and then turned and headed back to his own cave.

Hi guys, sorry its be so long. So, I've seemed to hit a brick wall with this story, and have no clue where to take it. I still have a couple parts left to post here, if you wish to know at least what I have done. If you want, I still have 2 other, WoW-related stories, that I have finished that I can post(So there's will be no worry about not seeing how they end >.<). So leave a comment, or send me a PM if you want me to post what I have done in this story, post another of my stories, or whatever.

Again, sorry. I really do love this story and had a lot of fun writing it and watching it stray from what I originally planned to have happen, and despise that I'm at such a lost as to what to do next... :(

7/1 Edit: Guess there's no interest. But, I honestly cant say I'm surprised really, sense I still get the feeling that's most people here don't like me. Wonder if it because I "complain to much", but really, can you blame me? Then again, it seems like if you're not in the "in crowd", or someone who posts on a lot of different topics, or have an art thread, you're ignored. Oh well, guess I'll go back to being a lurker for now, then slowly stop visiting Petopia. *shrugs*

Hello again everyone. I'd like to apologize for leaving this story off as I did and not posting the other parts I had done in my White Wolf story. I was going through a hard point in my life around that time. My dads car having just been repo'd and having to move hotels ever 3 weeks, and other stress I was dealing with made it so, even thought It normally wouldn't have bugged me, the "never getting a reply to anything in this thread' got to me. I felt like people weren't enjoying the story, and, even though I was told otherwise, that got to me, as well.
Well, now I'm in a better situation, having joined the Navy 3 months ago and finishing RTC(boot camp) a month ago. I finished the first part of this story, and as soon as I get my external Hard drive, I'll post the rest of it. Now, I haven't started the 2nd part yet, but I have other stories I can, and will, post. 3 of them are WoW stories. Now they do not fall into the lore (at all, really) so please don't flame me about lore, haha. I cant really have fun writing a story if I have lore restraints, so I don't most of the time. Writing to me is about having fun doing it. I know some of you think you cant have a "good" WoW story without following the lore of the characters, but personally I think it makes for a better story if you change things up and go outside the box, so to say. Anyways, again, I'm sorry I left this story how I did. I'm also sorry if I seemed kind of rude in how I left. And I'm happy to be back and hope you all enjoy the rest of the story, and my other stories, once I can post them. Until then.

~Elfdragon

6/3 Update: Sorry I haven't posted the rest of the story yet. The person who was sending me my external completely forgot about mailing it to me >.<...But hopefully they remembered this time so hopefully I'll be getting it soon!

6/26 Update: Sooooo... I still haven't received my external yet...I texted the person who had it a week ago, and they had just sent it that day. So hopefully it'll arive here either today, tomorrow, or early next week. I wish I had another story to post for you guys while you wait, but sadly I have no stories at all on my new laptop. :( SO, hopefully I'll start posting the last couple of parts to this story next week!

My external arived :D. I'll try to post the rest of this story quickly but no too quickly. But knowing me I'll probably have the full thing posted within the next couple of days. Here's the next part~

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Suki sat against the side of the cliff that housed the Wolves’ cave. She had returned with Snow a couple hours before. She felt weird in the cave, like she didn’t belong, so she moved outside. Shadow had followed her, and now laid with his head on her lap. She petted him on the head, and stared at the blue sky.
"What am I going to do?" She whispered to herself, thinking about Blaze, about what Snow had told her. "I can tell some of the wolves don’t trust me now." She sighed.
"But many still do." She looked at the wolf walking towards her.
"Hi Dawn." she said.
"Shadow still trusts you. As does Darkness and Midnight. Snow still does." Dawn said, sitting on Shadow's other side. "And I still trust you. But that’s mainly because of Shadow."
"Thanks." Suki said.

Suki walked out of the cave and towards the forest. She stopped half way to the trees, and looked at the sky.
"I should just leave." she thought, looking at her arm. She looked at the part of her arm that the young wolf had bit. She only wanted to speak to her grandmother, but the young wolf didn’t want to let a "traitor" so close to someone who was still important to the pack. She wished Shadow and Dawn was there, they had gone on walks with her whenever she needed to get away from the cave sense Snow brought her back 3 days ago. But now they were out hunting with the rest of the pack.
She looked back at the cave, and saw her grandmother standing in the entrance, a worried look on her face. Suki smiled at her grandmother, and then looked back towards the forest. Letting out a sigh, Suki turned and walked back towards her grandmother.
"I’m sorry about that, Hun." she said when Suki got close enough.
"It’s fine. It’s my own fault." She shrugged.

"What are we going to do, Snow?" Darkness asked, walking next to Snow. "We have to decide what we're going to do about Suki and the demons soon, or some of the pack will take care of it on their own."
"I still don’t know." Snow growled.
"You know we can’t kill her, she might just be the best weapon we have against Blaze." Midnight said.
"I know. But I don’t know if she'll agree to help us kill him." Snow said.
"We know." Darkness said. "It would be hard for anyone. To help kill the person they loved, no matter what the reason is." The 3 wolves went silent as they sensed a Deer nearby, only resuming their talk after it had been taken down.
"Well, we need to decide soon. Before something happens." Midnight said.
"We should head back." Darkness said, noting how low the sun sat in the sky. Snow howled, signaling the rest of the pack to meet in a small clearing then head back to the cave.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
I know this part is short, and sense it's short I'll post another part in a little bit. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed it. And again, I'm sorry for this taking so long to get posted >.<

As promissed and right before I go to bed, here is another part.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Suki ran from the cave, as fast as her legs would carry her. She heard her grandmother calling after her, but, more than that, she heard the snarls of Otosa. Her memory flashed back to what had happened as she ran. She had stood next to Melody in the back of the cave, asking her about what she should do involving Blaze. Melody was telling her that she should do what she felt was right. That’s when she noticed Otosa walking towards them. He was staring at her, and she could tell something was wrong.
"What’s wrong, Otosa?" she had asked, something in the back of her mind telling her to run. He simply snarled, then broke into a run and leapt at her. As quickly as she could, she pushed her grandmother out of the way and blocked her face with her arms. The attack had woken all the wolves in the cave, but none made a move to stop Otosa, because he was the biggest wolf left in the cave. Soon, though, a young pup, Dusk, she had though, leapt on Otosa's back. The bigger wolf threw him from his back without much trouble. But the distracted was enough for Suki to push Otosa off of her and run out of the cave. Now she ran as fast as she could, holding her bleeding arm, and hearing the sounds of paws hitting the ground as Otosa gave chased.
"If Snow won’t do what must be done, then I will!" He barked. Suki pushed herself to run faster as she heard the sounds of more wolves chasing her. Mentally, she cried out for Blaze, afraid to do so out loud, not wanting to make the wolves madder.
Suki turned into the forest, hoping to lose the wolves amongst the trees. It worked for a little, until she tripped over an exposed root, twisting her ankle. She cried out in pain, alerting the wolves to where she was. She tried to climb into the tree, but was unable to without the use of both of her feet. She turned from the tree, planning on trying to limp deeper into the forest, just too fine Otosa blocking her path.
"So, this is it. Never would have imagined I would be killed by a wolf." She said.
"I never would have imagined we would be killing you." He said simply, taking a step towards her. Otosa stopped as they both heard a growl. Turning towards were the sound came from, Suki saw 3 pairs of red eyes. Suki looked away from the eyes and at Otosa in time to see him get tackled to the ground by a demon. Suki looked back in the direction of the eyes, and saw Blaze, and 1 other demon walking towards her. She pushed herself away from the tree and took a step towards him.
"Don’t." He said, and she knew what he meant. She leaned back against the tree, and waited for him to get to her. "I never should have let you leave." Blaze growled when he got to her, picking her up.
"It's ok." She said, leaning her head against him.
"Let me go!" Otosa snarled, still being held down by the demon.
"Take him back to the cave." Blaze ordered. "We'll use him when it’s time for the ritual."
"Yes sir." The two demons said, before disappearing into the dark forest, dragging Otosa with them.
"And let’s get you back as well." He said, as he started to carry Suki back towards his cave. Suki let out a sigh, feeling safer then she had in a couple days.

Blaze walked slowly through the forest, Suki resting in his arms. He glanced down at Suki. She was staring out into the dark forest, but he could tell she was thinking about something. Not wishing to interrupt her thoughts, he remained silent.
'What am I going to do?' Suki thought to herself. 'I can’t help Blaze kill Snow, Shadow, Dawn, Darkness, Midnight, or the others. But I also can’t help them kill him...' Suki glanced up at the moon then felt Blaze stop walking. "What’s wrong?" She asked, looking up at him.
"Something’s coming." He said, placing her on the ground then positioning himself between her and the approaching creatures. The two stood there in silence, the only sound being that of the light breeze passing the leaves. Blaze let out a growl as Otosa came into view, followed by 2 other wolves.
"Should have had stronger Demons taking me back." He mocked.
"Or had more." Shade said.
"This is perfect." Pitch said. "We can kill her and their leader at the same time!" Suki leaned closer to Blaze and Blaze let out another growl.
"I’m going to be harder to take out then you think." Blaze said, flexing his claws.
"We'll just see about that." Otosa said, and charged towards Blaze and Suki. Blaze was preparing to take the attack when a figure leapt out of the forest and smashed into Otosa's side, knocking him to the ground.
"Shadow!" Suki said, seeing him standing in-between Blaze and Otosa.
"You would protect this Demon?" Otosa growled, pushing himself to his feet.
"I don’t care what happens to the demon." Shadow snarled. "But I will not let you harm Suki!" He lashed his tail.
"Then I'll just take you out with her." Otosa said, taking a step forward.
"You'll have to take out a lot more than just him." Dawn said, coming to stand by Shadow's side.
"Move aside, sister." Otosa growled.
"I will not." she said, and more wolves appeared out of the forest and stood by Shadow and Dawn.
"Otosa, Pitch, Shade. Stand down." Snow said, standing by the edge of the group. Suki looked away from the wolves for a moment, and at Blaze. He was looking at her, and she knew what he was thinking. She nodded her head. He placed his hand on her cheek for a moment, before turning and disappearing into the forest.
'Thank you Blaze.' Suki thought to herself. Suki looked back at the wolves in time to see her 3 attackers disappear and some wolves begin to chase them.
"Let them go. We'll deal with those 3 later." Snow said, and then looked towards where Suki stood.
"Suki!" Shadow said, walking up to her. "Are you ok?"
"I am." Suki said, smiling at him.
"Where did that demon go?" Midnight asked.
"Probably got scared off." Darkness joked, walking up, trying to lighten the mood.
"He realized I was safe, and he didn’t feel safe himself, so he left." Suki said, sitting down.
"Was that their leader? Was that Blaze?" Fang asked.
"Yeah." She said.
"If it wasn’t for his scent and his eyes I would have thought he was just another human." Fang said.
"I’m sorry I wasn’t there to protect you when Otosa attacked you." Shadow said, sitting down with his ears pressed against his head.
"No one could have known what he had planned." Suki said, petting Shadow.
"We should return to the cave." Snow said. "There could be more demons or traitorous wolves around. And Melody is worried." Snow pressed her nose against Suki's ankle, healing it.
"Thanks." Suki said, and pushed herself to her feet. The wolves formed a circle around Suki. Snow walked in the lead, with Darkness and Midnight walking to her sides. Shadow and Dawn walked along side Suki.
"I'll never leave your side again, I promise." Shadow said to Suki. Suki couldn’t help but laugh.
"If you say so." She said.
"I mean it!" Shadow said. Suki was surprised by how happy she felt when the Wolves’ cave came into view and she saw Melody pacing in front of the cave. As soon as she saw them, Melody walked towards the group, wanting to make sure Suki was ok.

Otosa came to a stop as he neared the humans’ village.
"I don’t think they followed us." Shade said.
"Damn that demon for interfering." Otosa growled. "If it wasn’t for his interference the plan would have gone perfectly."
"We'll just have to find another time to take her out then." Pitch said.
"One problem with that." Shade said. "They won’t leave her unguarded after tonight."
"Shade's right." Otosa said.
"We'll have to find another way to get to her then." Pitch said.
"We need a wolf on the inside. And we need more wolves to join us." Shade said.
"That's going to be hard. Most of the other wolves still trust her and love her and her Grandmother." Pitch said.
"We'll talk more about this later." Otosa said. "We need to find a safe place to rest. One where no one will find us." Pitch and Shade nodded, and then the 3 wolves started walking again.

Here's the next part for you guys~
PS. I don't hint to it in the story but this is a couple days later.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
"I still don’t get why Blaze looks so much like a human." Dawn said as she walked along side Suki, Shadow, Snow, Melody, Darkness, and Midnight.
"Yes, I too wonder. Never before has a White Wolf seen a demon that looks the way he does." Snow said.
"I may know how it happened." Melody said.
"Really, grandma?" Suki asked.
"Yes, but it is a long story." she said.
"Well, it’s a long walk back to your village." Shadow said.
Melody laughed. "This is true." She said. "Very well, I shall tell it then. It all started 27 long years ago, when your parents were still young adults."

"It's such a beautiful night, isn’t it?" Carla said as her and her two friends, Josh and Jasmine, walked home.
"Yeah, it is." Jass said.
"You sure you don’t want me to walk you the rest of the way home, Jass?" Josh asked when they stopped in-between his and Carla's homes.
"Yeah, I’m sure. My roommates are already going to give me enough crap about getting home so late. I don’t want to deal with the questions they'll ask if they see a boy walking me home." she said, smiling at her friends
"Ok, well, be safe." Josh said.
"Let me know if you need anything." Carla said, hugging her. Jass waved to her friends, before turning and heading back to her house. She sighed.
"I really need to stop lying to them." She said. "It's only a matter of time before they learn that I live alone..." She sighed again, but picked up her head. "Oh well. It’s not like I haven’t lived alone a lot."

"Josh and Carla were the only friends Jasmine really had. Many of the other people their age found her weird. Much like you Suki, she lost her parents when she was young. No one really truly knows what happened to them." Melody said.
"Didn’t she have other relatives to live with?" Shadow asked.
"No, her parents had moved to the village when her mom was pregnant with her, so they had no one but each other."
"So, what happened next?" Suki asked.
"Well, the months past by normally, until earlier August." Melody said.

Jass walked through the night streets, alone. "I wonder if they're enjoying their date." She said, thinking of Josh and Carla. "I wonder if I'll ever find the right guy for me..." She sighed. Deciding to stop for a little, she walked over and sat against a tree. She looked up at the sky, and stared at the moon, getting lost in her own daydreams.
"What was that?" She said, being torn from her thoughts by a sound behind her. Looking around, she realized how late it was. "Oh, this is bad." She said, quickly pushing herself to her feet. "I should not be out this late. This is when the demons hunt." She quickly walked away from the tree, and towards her home. Seeing movement to her side caused her to start running.
"Stop! Please don’t run." A voice said. She stopped, wanting to know where the voice came from. "I do not wish to hurt you." A demon walked out of the forest. Her mind told her to run, but her heart told her otherwise. "Please." The demon said.
"Why should I trust you?" Jass asked.
"Because, if I wanted to hurt you I would have done so before, but instead, I broke a branch to alert that I was there." the demon said. Jass watched him, thinking about what he said.
"Very well. But try anything, and you'll have my sword to answer to." She said, resting her palm on the hilt of her blade.
"Very well." The demon said, walking towards her. "I believe, in your language, my name is Inferno." he said.
"My name is Jasmine." Jass said.

"The two of them spent many nights together after that. I believe it is sometime during those first nights that they developed feelings for each other." Melody asked.
"But I thought all Demons looked alike to Humans, just like they do to wolves." Dawn asked.
"This is true, but as I said before, Jasmine was...Different." Melody said.
"I can’t imagine people were happy when they learned about her friendship with a demon." Suki said.
"Oh, they were not at all." Melody said.

Jass walked to the market, planning on meeting Josh and Carla there. It was time for the last shopping trip they'd make before winter hit. As she neared the center of the Village, where the shops were, she saw a crowd gathered.
"Are you sure?" she heard someone say.
"Yes, I am." Dusk, one of the older wolves in the pack, and most trusted friend of Silver, was saying. "A demon has been sneaking into the village. I found his scent at the edge of the woods, and a Humans scent was there as well."
"Do you know who this human is? If there's a traitor among our ranks, I want to know right away." King Jake said, his young son, John, by his side.
"I haven’t been able to find the owner of the scent yet, but I will let you know as soon as I-" He stopped mid-sentence, the wind shifting directions. A chill when down Jass' spine as he turned his head towards her.
"Dusk?" Jake asked.
"You." He said simply, turning towards Jass. "It's you." He growled. Jass took a step back as everyone turned their head towards her.
"Jass? What is he talking about?" Carla asked. Jass didn’t reply, but just kept her eyes locked on Dusk.
"You're the one who's been with the demon." He growled.
"I...I don’t know what you're talking about." Jass managed to say.
"She does spend a lot of time alone." She heard someone say.
"Yeah, there’s no telling what she’s doing in that house at night." Someone said back. Jass was about to run when she felt a strong hand grab her arm from behind.
"Take her to the dungeons." Jake said.

"Josh and Carla had no choice but to watch as their friend was taken away." Melody said. Suki looked at the ground as she walked, thinking about Blaze.
"I'd never let them do that to Suki!" Shadow said. "I don’t care what Wolf said otherwise!"
"Even if Snow herself was doing it?" Dawn asked, and giggled at Shadows expression.
"No fair..." He grumbled.
"How did she get free?" Darkness asked when the others had stopped laughing.
"It really wasn’t as hard as you might think." Melody continued.

Jass sat alone in her cell. She was tired, and her eyes were red from crying. She missed Inferno and was terrified about what would happen to her.
"Jass? Jasmine? Where are you?" She heard a voice call out.
"Carla? Is that you?" She asked, walking up to the bars.
"Yeah, and I brought Josh with me." Carla said, appearing at the cell door, with Josh at her side. They were dressed completely in black.
"What are you guys doing here? If they find you..." Jass said.
"Don’t worry about us." Josh said, as he started to work on the lock. "We care too much about you Jass. We can’t just let you sit here in this cell." The three remained silent as Josh finished picking the lock.
"Thanks you two." She said.
"Don’t thank us yet, we still need to get you out of here." Josh said. The three friends made their way out of the building, and then quickly walked around the edge until they were behind it.
"What are you going to do now?" Carla asked as the 3 stopped in the shadow casted by the building.
"I have to leave the village. I have no other choice." Jass said.
"But where will you go?" Josh asked.
"I'll have to see if I can stay with him." She said.
"With the demon?" Josh asked.
"Yes. I think I’m in love with him..." Jass said, looking at the ground, preparing herself for what her friends will say.
"You always were a strange one." Carla said, and hugged Jass.
"But we don’t care; we want you to be safe and happy, even if it means leaving the village." Josh added.
"Thank you, guys. For everything." Jass said, fighting back tears.
"That’s what friends are for." Carla said.
"Now go, we've stayed out here to long; the Wolves will be passing by this area soon." Josh said.
"Until we meet again." Jass said, before turning and running into the forest.

"Jass was never seen again after that day, and no one ever learned how she escaped." Melody said.
"Grandma, did you help mom and dad free her?" Suki asked.
"Your grandfather was the one who taught Josh how to pick locks. And we raised him to not judge someone by their actions or the path they chose in life. So, we both helped, in a way." Melody said
"Jass and Inferno must be Blaze's parents." Snow said.
"I believe so." Melody said.

Blaze punched the wall of the cave. "How am I supposed to do this?" He said.
'There would be one born. One who would bring an end to the war and power unlike no other to the pack.' His father’s words echoed through his head.
"To bring an end to the war would mean destroying the moon and killing the wolves. But how? How could I now. The wolves mean so much to her, and I couldn’t bear to see her in pain." He growled and punched the wall again. "Oh mom, dad, why can’t you be here. Why did you have to leave the territory?" Blaze turned and started to leave the cave, getting glances from the demons he pasted. He took a deep breath as he left the cave, letting the cool night air enter his body.
"I need to find them, but I can’t leave with those 3 wolves still on the loose. Sure, she has the wolves for protection, but I still don’t trust them. They care too much for their own kind, and it’s only a matter of time before more wolves join those three." Blaze let out a sigh, and walked into the forest, heading towards where he knew the wolves cave was located, hoping to talk to Suki.

Ok, so, sense I didnt post a part yesterday (when I was planning too but got distracted by RL), I'm going to post another part right before I go to bed. Hope you guys enjoy~

Suki stepped out of her house and quietly closed the door behind her. She glanced to the side of her house and saw the slight movement that gave away the demon’s presence. She glanced up to the darkening sky, and then walked towards where the demons were, and entered the forest. She walked through the forest, with the demons to either side of her, just barely out of sight range.
“I’m glad you could come out tonight.” Blaze said when she found him once the village was out of sight.
“I am too.” She said, hugging him.
“Is everything taken care of?” Blaze asked, hugging her back.
“Yeah. My grandma’s going to tell everyone I’m sick in bed. As for the wolves, I couldn’t lie to Snow. So I told her I was leaving the village for a couple days.” Suki said.
“And what did Snow say in reply to that?” Blaze asked, as they started to walk.
“It took some work, but I got her to agree to let me go without a guard.” She said. “But I need to visit the den as soon as I get back.”
“They still don’t trust me.” Blaze said.
“You don’t trust them, either.” Suki said.
“I know.” Blaze said.
“You both have reasons for not trusting each other. The biggest one being that you guys have been at war for as long as Snow can remember.” Suki said.
“I know.” Blaze said. Suki and Blaze walked for an hour before Suki had to stop. “Want me to carry you back to the cave?” Blaze asked.
“Yeah.” She said, and he picked her up. “Sorry, I didn’t sleep well last night.”
“Bad dreams?” He asked.
“Yeah.” She said.
“Demon's attacking?” He asked, and you could hear the slight guilt in his voice.
“And wolves.” She said, laying her head against his chest. “Don’t blame yourself, though. Like you said before, you didn’t know what that lone demon planned, and that group of demons got carried away.”
“I still feel like it’s my fault.” Blaze said. “I was the one that sent those demons to get you, and I knew they were young and that could happen.” He sighed.
“It wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t run when they appeared like I did.” Suki said.
“You were acting out of fear.” Blaze said. “Now, enough talking. You need to rest.”
“Ok.” Suki said. “But don’t beat yourself up over this. Just make sure you’re there to protect me next time something happens.” She kissed him on the cheek, and then leaned her head back against his chest, and closed her eyes.
“I will be.” He said.

Suki opened her eyes, seeing the dark cave sealing above her and feeling the cool cave floor below her.
“Good Morning.” Blaze said, from where he sat next to her.
“Morning.” Suki said, smiling at him.
“How did you sleep?” Blaze asked.
“I slept well.” She said.
“That’s good.” He said. “You should eat, we need to leave soon.” He added after a moment. Suki pushed herself into a sitting position and took the food Blaze handed to her.
“Thanks.” She said, eating the food.

“We need to find more wolves.” Pitch growled.
“But how? None of the pack would join us.” Shade said.
“What if we try and convince other wolves to join us? That Suki is just trying to trick them and she’s trying to destroy the pack from the inside?” Pitch said.
“That’ll never work.” Shade said, looking at Pitch.
“Silence.” Otosa said, stopping and looking at the two. Pitch and Shade stopped, and looked at Otosa. “Do you smell that?” They lifted their heads and sniffed the air.
“It smells like…” Pitch started.
“Other wolves? But it’s not Snow or the pack.” Shade said.
“Then who could it be?” Pitch asked.
“I don’t know, but let’s find out.” Otosa said, and started walking in the direction of the scent.

Sorry this part is short. But I have good news and bad news.
Bad News: This story is almost over. (At least until I start to write the 2nd part). Only 1 more post (If I make it really really really long) or 2-3 more. If you have any input about how I post the rest (a really long part or 2 not so long parts) let me know. Otherwise, I'll just post it how I feel like posting it tomorrow.
Good News: I'll start posting my other stories the day after I finish this one. The first one I'll post is probably going to be my short story I wrote for my Alliance guild after I transferred my main characters to Horde. Please don't flame me for it being completely against the Lore in all way, shape and form! (I'll say this again when I post the actual story...)
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy. Have a great night/day, and Good Night!

He's the next part~

Suki opened her eyes, seeing the world just starting to darken. She and Blaze had decided to travel at night. It was when the world was the calmest and he was the most comfortable and at his strongest. She shivered slightly as she heard something move behind her. Blaze tightened his grip on her protectively and let out a warning growl. She heard more movement, then nothing.
“Go back to sleep.” Blaze said.
“I’ll try.” Suki said. She closed her eye, but could not fall back to sleep. She let out a sigh and gave up after a few minutes. Blaze released his hold on her and she sat up.
“Did you have a bad dream?” He asked, sitting up as well.
“No.” She said, “Just feeling restless and want to get going.”
“You’re excited about meeting my parents.” Blaze concluded with a chuckle.
“I guess so.” Suki said. “My parents died not knowing if Jasmine was ok. She probably doesn’t even know their dead, or that they had a child.” Her voice quieted slightly. Blaze put his arm around her and she leaned against him.
“Well, let get going then.” He said after a moment.
“Lets.” Suki said, standing up.

Suki and Blaze walked silently through the night. Glancing to the sky, Suki noticed how small the moon was. 'There's going to be no moon tomorrow night.' she thought to herself. She thought of Snow, and how weak she was on moonless nights. Of the demons, without a leader she trusted with Blaze gone. Of what they would do if they were to ever find out how weak Snow, and all White Wolves, were on moonless nights.
'Stop it Suki.' She thought told herself. 'Blaze has a lot of trust in the demon he left in charge, so should you.” She stopped as she heard a noise in the bushes.
“You've become noisy in your old age. I could hear you coming from a mile away.” Blaze said, stopping as well. “Even she heard you. How can you sneak up on anything making so much noise?” He taunted.
“You have a lot better hearing then a deer. And she heard me because I wanted her too.” A demon said, walking out from among the trees. “Its been to long, Blaze.”
“It has.” Blaze said, then turned towards Suki. “Suki, this is Inferno, my father.”
“Its nice to meet you.”Suki said, bowing.
“And you.” Inferno said, nodding his head.
“Let us return to my home. It is not safe out here at night for a human.” He turned and walked back the way he had came.
“Lets go.” Blaze said, looking at Suki. She nodded and followed Inferno, Blaze walking close behind her. “He hasn't changed at all.” Blaze said after a moment.
“How long has it been sense you last saw him?” Suki asked.
“11 years.” Blaze said. “I left when I was 10.”
“They let you leave at such a young age?” Suki asked, looking at Blaze.
“Yes. And I took over the pack a year later.” Blaze said. “I could have done so sooner, but I wanted to study and learn about my enemy first.”
“The wolves?” Suki asked. “Did you learn anything that the demons didn't already know?” She felt a slight tinge of worry creep upon her.
“No.” Blaze said with a shrug. “But I did notice something I thought was strange.”
“What was that?” Suki asked.
“The wolves always seemed to disappear on moonless nights.” Blaze said.
“I noticed that too.” Inferno said. “I wonder why that is.”
“Do you have any idea, Suki?” Blaze asked.
“No, I don't.” Suki said. She hated lying to Blaze, but she couldn't reveal the truth.
“It's probably nothing important.” Inferno said. “And here we are.” Suki stopped and stared. They were in the clearing in the forest, and in the middle of it was a big house.
“Not in a cave anymore?” Blaze asked.
“After you left your mother didn't want to live in a cave anymore. So we built this.” Inferno said. “I'm surprised she lived in a cave for so long. Humans don't like to live in caves. Something about the ground being too cold.” He shrugged.
“Cave get too cold at night, and we don't have night vision like you and the wolves.” Suki said.
“And who's fault is that?” Blaze said, looking at her.
“Yours, for refusing to light a fire.” Suki joked, and Blaze laughed.
“Why do you need a fire when you got me? I can see fine at night and you're never cold when you're with me.” He said, smiling. She rolled her eyes at him, but smiled as well.
“Come.” Inferno said, starting towards the house.

Shadow walked threw the forest, knowing all to well where he was going. He stopped at the edge of the forest and looked at the house standing in front of him.
“Shes not back yet.” Dawn said, stopping next to him.
“Why isn't she back yet? Its been a week.” She said. “Where the hell did he take her?” he growled.
“I'm sure shes fine.” Dawn said, but Shadow could head uncertainty in her voice.
“I should have gone with them.” Shadow said.
“You know Snow never would have let you.” Dawn said. “Let alone Darkness and Midnight.”
"I could have convinced them too.” Shadow said.
“Oh really? Could you have now?” Dawn said. Shadow growled, knowing that he couldn't have. Dawn laughed. “Come on, its time to scout around the village before heading back to the den.” She said, starting to walk back into the forest.
“Ok. I doubt we're going to find anything.” Shadow said. “The Demon's have been quiet sense Suki and Blaze left.”
“This could just be the calm before the storm.” Dawn said. “Besides, its not just the demon's we're watching out for.”
“Do you really think Otosa, Shade, and Pitch will attack?” Shadow asked.
“I don't know.” Dawn said. “My brother was pretty mad when we stopped him from killing Blaze and Suki. And Snow does have what the First told her to worry about.”
“I know.” Shadow said. “There are still a couple of wolves who think its going to be Suki.”
“But even more that think its going to be those three.” Dawn said.
“True.” Shadow said.
“Now, come on, lets hurry and get this patrol done with, I want to get to bed.” Dawn said, starting to run.
“Hey, wait for me!” Shadow said, chasing after her.

Here you go. I was going to make it just one big part, but yeah... That would have made this more then 2x longer, so I decided against it. (Besides, I don't know if there's a limit to how long we can make our posts. Is there? Does anyone know?) I'll see how it looks with making the next post the last one. If it's still to long I'll break it into 2 again. I'll post the next one tonight, and if its to long for one post, I'll post the next part tomorrow. Or maybe I'll just post the rest tonight and just split it into 2 post instead of one if need be. Anyways, enough of my rambling. Hope you all enjoy, and see you later~

Ok. Here is the rest of this story. (Decided not to keep you guys waiting any longer then you already have. I still feel bad about how I left before...)
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Blaze and Inferno walked quietly threw the dark forest. Blaze deep in through and Inferno not sure what to say to his son. Blaze glanced at his father, and saw his eyes upon him, reading his expressing.
“Something is bothering you, son. What is it?”Inferno finally said.
“You told me many years ago that there was a prophecy that said there would be a demon that would bring power to the pack. That I may be this demon.” Blaze said. “I always thought that power would be gained by destroying the moon and the wolves. And now I have the three moon idles, Demon Blood, and Human Blood. All I need to destroy the moon is Wolves blood, and I could get that easy enough, but...”
“You cant do it without hurting Suki.” Inferno finished. “She means as much to you as your mother means to me.”
“She does.” Blaze said. “And some in the pack sees that as a weakness. I don't know how much longer I can keep the peace in the pack.” Blaze sighed.
“The power mentioned in the prophecy might not be because of the destruction of the moon and wolves.” Inferno said.
“What else would it be?” Blaze asked. “What else could make the pack stronger?”
“There is something else that would make the pack stronger.” Inferno said.
“What is it? What aren't you telling me?” Blaze asked.
“You will find out on your own soon enough.” Inferno said, causing Blaze to growl. “Now, son. Life would be to easy if all the answers were given to you.”
“I guess you're right.” Blaze said.
“Now, lets use return to the house.” Inferno said as the sky started to lighten. “The sun is rising.”

“So, they're dead?” Jass said, her eyes getting misty.
“Yeah.” Suki said. “They died protecting the village...”
“From demons.” Jass finished, the let out a sigh. “I'm sorry.”
“It was the moonless night.” Suki said, looking out at the lightening sky.
“Do the demons know?” Jass asked.
“No. None of the demons have figured it out. Blaze noticed how the pack disappear on that night, thought.”
“So has Inferno. He asked me about it, but I lied to him.” Jass said. “I hate having to lie to him.”
“Yeah. I hate having to lie to Blaze about it, too.” Suki said. “But I have to protect the wolves. I already betrayed them enough, I cant put then in any more danger then I already have.” Suki closed her eyes as she thought about what pain her betrayal must had caused them. Jass put her hand on Suki's shoulder.
“I also feel like I have to protect them.” She said. “I do still fill love and some loyalty towards the Wolf's of the Night pack.”
“Even after they chased you from your home?” Suki asked, looking at her.
“Yes. If it wasn't for them, Blaze never would have been born. And he and Inferno are the best things that ever happened to me.” She said.
“Oh. I guess it wasn't all that bad then.” Suki said.
“Now, enough of this. Its time to prepare dinner, the boys will be back soon.” Jass said, walking into the kitchen.
“Yeah.” Suki said, following her. “I'll help.”
“It'll be nice to finally have some help.” Jass said, and they both laughed.

“We will be returning with you.” Inferno said as they ate breakfast on the 3rd night sense Suki and Blaze had arrived.
“Really?” Suki asked, looking at the demon.
“Yes.” Jass said. “We've both grown tired of this lonely life and feel its time for us to return to civilization.”
“Are you going to live with the demons?” Suki asked Jass.
“No. I think I will go back to the village.” Jass said. “If they will allow it.”
"You can stay with me and my grandma.” Suki said. “We live on the outskirts of the village.”
“That's nice of you.” Jass said. “I think I'll take you up on that offer. Thank you.”
“I'll stay with the pack.” Inferno said.
“It will be nice to have another demon in the pack that I can trust.” Blaze said.
“Let us be off.” Inferno said once they finished eating and walked out the door, Blaze and Jass following him. Suki grabbed her sword from where she had placed it when they arrived and strapped it to her waist, then followed them.

“It feels weird to be leaving after so long.” Jass said later that night.
“That it does.” Inferno agree.
"It feels weird to be traveling with you two after so long.” Blaze said.
“The wolves aren't going to be happy about having another powerful demon to worry about.” Suki said.
“No, not worry about.” Inferno said. “I moved pass my hatred of the wolves many years ago. I'd sooner fight with them then against them.”
“Really?” Blaze asked, looking at his father.
“Yes.” Inferno said. “The world would be a much safer and happier place if more demons would, too.” Suki looked at him, wondering if any other demons felt the same way.
“Whats wrong?” Jass asked when both Inferno and Blaze stopped. Neither of them answered.
“Blaze?” Suki asked, moving her hand to rest on her sword. Jasmine moved closer to Inferno when they still didn't answer.
“Well, well, well. Look who we have here.” Suki heard the familiar voice of Otosa say. Blaze let out a growl as he, Shade, and Pitch appeared.
“Friends of yours?” Jass asked.
“No.” Suki said. “These three aren't happy about how I helped Blaze get the moon idles.”
“We're the only wolves smart enough to take our a traitor before they take us out.” Shade said.
“I wont help the demons kill Snow and the others!” Suki said.
“You already have!” Pitch snarled. Suki looked at the ground as a fresh wave of guilt and sorrow over her betrayal washed over her. Blaze glanced back at Suki, and growled again.
“And besides, you wont help us kill them. You cant be on the fence forever, you'll have to pick a side sooner or later.” Otosa said. Suki looked at Otosa, she knew he was right. “So, I'll give you the choice now. Help us kill these three and we'll return to the pack as if nothing ever happened, or be killed along with these three.” Blaze prepared for a fight as Pitch and Shade prepared to attack.
“I wont help you kill Blaze, Inferno, or Jasmine.” Suki said, drawing her sword. She looked to her side as she heard more wolves approaching.
“See, Darkness, I told you I smelt Otosa!” Midnight said.
“Still trying to go after Suki, Otosa?” Darkness growled.
“Looks like we're just going to have to kill you two, too.” Otosa said, as Pitch and Shade charged.
“These three are cocky.” Inferno said, attacking Pitch, Jass fighting alongside him.
“They are.” Darkness agreed, as he and Midnight attacked Shade.
“Best way to get yourself killed.” Blaze said matter-of-factly. He and Suki charged at Otosa. Blaze and Inferno let out a growl as more wolves appeared.
“More ex-friends of yours?” Jasmine asked.
“I don't know any of these wolves.” Suki said, blocking an attack from one of the new arrivals.
“You mean they're not from the White Wolves pack?” Inferno asked.
“No, they're not.” Darkness said.
“Then where did they-” Blaze was cut off as Midnight let out a terrible cry of pain.
“Midnight!” Both Suki and Darkness said as they both rushed to her side. Blaze, Inferno, and Jass moved to around Midnight as well.
“We need to get her out of her.” Suki said, seeing the gash along her side and the deep bite wound on her neck.
“There's to many to fight off, we need to flee.” Inferno said.
“Darkness.” Blaze said. Darkness looked at Blaze, having never heard the demon call him by name before. “Carry Suki on your back, I'll carry Midnight.”
“You expect me to tr-” Darkness started.
“We don't have time to argue.” Blaze said, on the brink of growling. “If you want to save your mate you have to trust me.”
“He wont hurt her, Darkness. I promise.” Suki said.
“Ok, I'll trust you this once.” Darkness said. Suki quickly climbed onto his back as Blaze gently picked up Midnight. Inferno let out a roar, which seemed to freeze all the wolves expect for Darkness in place. After he picked up Jass, the small group took off into the forest.
“Follow me!” Blaze said, heading in the direction of the Demon's den. The group didn't stop running until they arrived at the cave. Blaze placed Midnight on the ground, then glanced at the entrance of the cave, seeing Demon's appearing. Suki climbed off of Darkness' back, who immediately moved to Midnight's side. Moments later, having sensed one of her own badly injured, Snow appeared out of the forest, followed by the rest of the pack. She paused momentarily when she realized where she was, but quickly moved to Midnight's side.
“Mom!” Shadow said, rushing to her side as well. Dawn kept her eyes on the demons as she followed behind Shadow. Many of the gathered wolves let out snarls and prepared to attack the demons.
“This wasn't done by them.” Darkness said, his voice no longer the strong, confident, and fearless one Suki had come to know.
“Then who?” Dawn asked.
“Shade.” Darkness said, watching as Snow pressed her nose against Midnight. Suki looked away from the wolves as her eyes filled with tears.
“This is all my fault.” She whispered. “All my fault.” she repeated, and started to cry.
“No, its not.” Blaze said, wrapping his arms around her, “I should have realized Otosa had something planned when he, Pitch, and Shade didn't flee after Midnight and Darkness arrived.”
“Blaze.” Inferno said, causing Blaze to look at him.
“Yes, father?” Blaze asked.
“You said you had the moon idles?” Inferno asked.
“Yes.” Blaze answered.
“Go get them.” He said.
“Why?” Blaze asked.
“There's no time for questions, just get them for me.” Inferno said.
“I'll be right back.” Blaze said to Suki, before disappearing into the cave. He reappeared moments later with a sack in his hand.
“Now, you have a choice to make.” Inferno said. “You can either give the idles to White Wolf and let her use their power to save Midnight, or return them to the cave and let her die.” Suki looked from Inferno, to Blaze, and then to where Midnight lay. Shadow was on his feet, staring at Blaze and the bag in his hands. Suki knew what he was thinking.
“I think I understand now.” Blaze said, looking at his father. He took a step towards Snow, but stopped when the wolves who were not close enough to hear what Inferno said growled at him.
“Silence.” Snow said, looking up from Midnight. She looked at Blaze and nodded once. Blaze continued towards them, and placed the sack down next to Snow, exposing the 3 idles.
“My father said you could use these to heal her.” Blaze said, standing back up.
“I can, thank you.” Snow said as she, Darkness and Shadow positioned the idles around Midnight. Blaze turned from the wolves and returned to Suki's side.
“We should get you home.” He said to her. “Your grandmother must be worried and its been a long night.”
“I wont be able to sleep.” Suki said, shaking her head. “Not until I know Midnight will be ok.”
“Try.” Blaze said.
“I cant leave her.” Suki said. “What if they followed us?” Blaze could hear the fear in her voice.
“Ok. You can stay then.” Blaze said. “Nether, Lash.” He said after a moment.
“Yes, Blaze?” Two demons said, coming out of the cave while glancing at the lightening sky.
“Help the wolves heal their companion.” Blaze said. He held up his hand for silence as they started to protest. “I, as I'm sure many of you are, grow tired of the constant fighting in-between our pack and the wolves. And now we have an enemy in common.” Nether and Lash looked at each other, then turned and walked over to Midnight. Snow looked at them when they arrived, and after a quick word with her, the two demons knelt next to Midnight. Snow turned her head and looked at Blaze as the two demons began to heal Midnight.
“If you will agree to it, I call for an end to the fighting, for a treaty.” Blaze turned to face his pack. “And if any of you don't agree with my decision, leave now.”
“We, too, grow tired of the fighting. And I accept your offer. For as long as I shall live, there shall be peace between the Wolves and the Demons.” Snow said, bowing her head.
“For as long as we both shall live.” Blaze bowed in return. Suki looked around as a calmness spread throughout the clearing. She leaned against Blaze as he put his arm around her.
“So, can all Demon's heal?” Shadow asked, walking over and sitting next to Suki.
“All except me.” Blaze said.
“Because of your human half?” Shadow said.
“Yeah.” Blaze said. “I never did fully understand why we could heal. Our bodies heal themselves in a day.”
“So that's how you guys could keep up attacks for weeks without seeming to lose anyone.” Suki said. “It all makes sense now.”
“But you don't have to worry about that anymore.” Blaze said.
“I'm sorry Shadow.” Suki said after a momentary silence.
“No, I'm sorry.” Shadow said. “I should have chased down Otosa and never let him get away.”
“If I had killed him for hurting Suki in the first place, none of this would have ever happened.” Blaze said.
“But then we would still hate each other and be fighting, and that would be bad.” Shadow said, wagging his tail.
“That is true.” Blaze said.
“Who ever would have thought my two boys would get along so well.” Suki said, smiling.
“Hey, he's willing to risk his life to protect you, so he cant be all that bad.” Blaze said.
“That's my line.” Shadow said, making Suki laugh. “Besides, any Demon who would protect a human cant be all that bad.” Shadow yawned.
“You should get some sleep, Shadow.” Suki said, putting her hand on his back.
“I know.” Shadow said. “I was on watch tonight, but...” He looked towards where his parents, Snow and the two demons were.
“I'll wake you up if-” Suki started.
“I'll wake you BOTH up if anything changes.” Blaze interrupted her.
“Fine.” Suki said, and the three of them moved into the early morning shade of a tree. Suki sat down with her back against the tree. Shadow curled up next to her and laid his head on her lap. Soon, he was asleep. Blaze sat down next to Suki and closed his eyes, but she knew he wouldn't fall to sleep. Suki looked over to where Snow, Nether, and Lash were. The three exchanged some words before moving Midnight into some shade.
She looked over to the Demon's cave, and saw that the wolves have moved over to the cave. Some were sitting, some where laying down or sleeping. Some demons were moving close to the wolves and crouching next to them, talking. Suki smiled at how easily the two packs had taken to the treaty. She closed her eyes, feeling for the first time that everything was as it should be. That, for the time being, her life was complete.
