I really like Bastile, great pose and you can almost see she has a hunamoid quality to her, really neat!

Thanks! I've done her in "troll" form too (too rough to post yet) and tried to keep the hair the same so she has link between her kitty and "human" form...if you get my meaning!
Edit: What the hell...there you go! Added troll form in first image

Just a question to the pro's here - what program do you use to colour?
I've just about finished a 6 week Adobe Illustrator course and learnt how to turn my sketches into Vector graphics (omg so good) but I'm not sure if thats the best tool to colour them or photoshop, what do others use? Do you use brushes and paintbucket or something completely different??
Thanks in advance!

I think for your design style, Illustrator would work really well, especially if you already a little confident with it. Photoshop can be truly awesome but it’s tools are more "Painterly" compared to "Illustrated" which your drawing have a great quality of. The beauty of both these programs is that they play together quite nicely, so once you get a good grasp on one, it's to tricky to self-learn the other.

I use Photoshop for all my work (well apart from animations). If you want to know about brushes Lupis is good with them. I just use the pen tool >.<

Thanks guys! I'm actually pretty good with photoshop in terms of photo editing and images like my sig for example but with colour everything tends to go the way of the paintbucket which doesn't look as groovy :S I'll try a combination of both then and see how I go!

I'm really late on replying, but you are SUPER talented! I wish I could draw anime. I've been reading some manga and I was thinking of starting to practice drawing anime in a notebook. But when I think about it, I don't have a lot of time. I have school, pet battling, and character leveling! It's very stressing
You are amazing at drawing! How did you start drawing anime? Did you start by practicing their face expressions?

Oh tyvm
I really liked sailor moon when i was younger so started drawing them (my old pictures are quite shocking!) and just practised from there. I looked at the way the manga was drawn and went from there.
I'm a bit different in the way i draw too....in high school they teach you to divide the face into thirds etc to get the perspective right but i've always just started from the eye's and worked my way out. Seems to work for me
Cow has some really good anime piccies too but she puts her own spin on them, she might tell you how she does hers and that might help too!
