A piece missing [Updated]

"Why this? why now?" Sinn thinks to himself as he watches his beloved Sun dissapear into the snowy recesses of her old home in Zul'Drak "I can understand her longing to have a family of her own, to have a heritage .. but i miss her already .."
With a sigh the grizzled elf turns away and mounts the brilliant green hippogriff he was awarded by the Cenarion Expedition after finally completing his quest to attain exalted status with then.
He looks towards where his beloved companion dissapeared one last time before pulling the reins making his mount unfurl its powerfull wings and take off into the grey skies above Zul'Drak.

Knowing the hippogriff will find its way to Dalaran on its own Sinn lets his mind wander "She promised to return to me in the future .. but untill then .. what .. or who should fill the empty slot in the stables?"
Scolding himself for nearly thinking "Her spot" he looks up to see the majestic floating city in front of them and as the hippogriff lands on Krasus landing gracefully he thinks to himself.

"Only time will tell"

naturally .. I initially let her go in favour of Krush but after what that <Bleep> did (refers to her first rate asshattery post in pet discussion) I am not going to actively camp him .. I have yet to decide which pet to get untill Sun returns.

Ah, I understand about the Krush hunting. I'm tempted to stick with my black devilsaur which is a temp. Bayne is just so sweet. x3 And few people have the black devilsaur anyway.

I hesitate getting him any kind of Devil after what happened .. considering the kurken, perhaps a cat of some type

When that feeling strikes me, I usually just browse the petopia pages. There's always a few pets that catch my eyes, some I've considered but chosen not to get because another was more captivating or whatnot.

Such a sad farewell though.

Sinn woke with a start, blinking against the gloom of their bedroom in Dalaran he glanced down at Wild sleeping next to him "Good .. I didnt wake her" he thought as he carefully wiggled out from her arms and whent into the other room with a small sigh.
Looking out through the tiny window he let his mind wander "I've had this dream for a week now .. calling me back to Zul Drak .. could it be .. ?" running his hands through his hair he decided to investigate come first light he whent back into the bedroom and climbed back into the bed beside his partner.

Wild was woken by Sinn rumaging around the room anxiously.
- Hun what?
- Oh you're awake .. I did not mean to ..
- Oh it is quite allright .. what are you doing?
- I have had this strange dream now for over a week .. I have to investigate.
- Do you think it could be .. ?
- Possible .. I do not know.
- Be carefull love.
- I will my heart, I should return in a couple of hours.
Wild nodded and helped him with the rest of the preparations in silence.

Two hours later Sinn landed in Zim Torga, looking around he stretched and whistled for Shian his trusted hippogriff "Is it you Sun? .. are you trying to send me a message?" he thought as the hippogriff unfurled its wings and took off into the dreary skies above the settlement.

They flew aimlessly around Zul Drak for almost an hour before a sudden urge made him turn Shian north, landing on a snow covered plain a short while later he had hardly dismouted before he was knoked over by an immense force making Shien squak loudly in suprise.
- What the!? Sinn exclaimed spitting out snow and dirt after landing face first into the snow by the impact.
As he managed to raise himself up he was met with a sight that made him gasp.

in front of him was his beloved Sun purring contently
~You came~
- How could I not?
~ Because I chose to leave you?~
- Don't be silly .. I understood why even though I missed you terribly.
~I missed you as well .. and my other family~
- The others wondered what happened but once they were informed they too understood.
The large etheral feline nodded ~I thought I wanted a family .. little did I realize I already had one untill I was back here .. in my old home~
- What do you mean?
~I wish to return to your side, to the only family I will ever need~
Sinn just stared at her for a long time his eyes filled with emotion before he embraced her, hugging her tightly around her neck with his cheek against her cheekfur.
- I .. we .. Welcome home Sun. he whispered into her ear, a smile erupting as he heard her purr happily.
~I did not come alone though .. ~
-Huh? what do you mean? Sinn let her go and watched as she walked to a small tuft of grass and lifted something up from the ground, he watched her return to him and started as she gently placed a small bundle of fur into his arms, fur white as the snow surrounding them dotted with black spots.
Amazed he looked down and blinked as a pair of pale green eyes met his own.
Holding the tiny cub close to his chest he looked over at Sun.
~Meet the newest member of our family .. my daughter Borealis~

Getting to his feet he tucked the tiny cub into his tunic gently to keep her warm he reached for Shian's reins and together the four of them made their way back to Zim Torga and on towards Dalaran.

Aww. Is Borealis a ghost saber? They have beautiful green eyes. <3 I named mine Tama, which means Jade, because of the eyes.
