Oh my gosh, that little purple-wearing asura in the first pic is cute as can be! Saamid and Yakez are awesome too, naturally.

since DP was down for maitinence I decided to hop back into GW for old times sake. Got my guardian some new duds and now he's hawt! (I'm bias so sue me!

)

Was puttering around and Dev decided to help one of them frog people gather truffles.

I am making my revenant in the upcoming expansion basically Loque'nahak as a charr. I still can't get away from being a WoW hunter it seems haha.

Ignore the dyes and their look may change slightly.

Wow this thread is somewhat active again.

Revenant is a bit underwhelming for me right now imo. Cool idea, channeling different lore heroes as stances, but Anet did rush the class to get it out in time for the expansion. Underwater combat is unfinished as most heroes don't even have any underwater moves and one move, which does a ton of damage, doesn't have a cooldown so you can spam it and kill anything in seconds. The highest dps spec is pretty much using one move, a bloodlust like move in shiro stance, everytime it's on cooldown and auto-attacking. Boring. I hope Anet takes the time to go back and rework the class.

My revenant: Loquenahak. I have gotten wonderful comments from WoW players that recognize them, heh.

I've tried a few of the other new elite specs.

Reaper is my favorite. Necromancers get greatswords with this spec and they just wreck everything. Necromancers went to one of the weakest classes to one of the strongest in game.

I am really enjoying druid. It is a healer spec so based if you like healers or not, this might not be for you. Druid/ranger got a few new pets this expansion, probably the one most people got excited about where the juvenile wyverns, which look like baby proto drakes. So yes you can have a dragon for a pet now.

I am not finished with gearing up for the mesmer elite spec, chronomancer, but it's a lot of fun so far imo. Very tanky with a lot of blocks and evades. Right now one of the best tanks in the game if you spec and gear them for it, which is so odd since mesmers are usually very squishy being in light armor.

I do say this expansion is a grind. I got frustrated with everything gated behind gaining mastery points for skills to progress and got burnt out before I finished the first new zone. I'm slowly getting back into playing more and actually progressing, but the grind turns me away. I'm still mostly playing in the older zones and doing holiday events.

hey all. I've resently picked up the game again after along time. first off I noticed a lot of changes. second I deleted all my old characters and made new ones. they weren't that high to begin with but after a certain change in gamplay and mind I've been having more fun with the game. all my characters are a charr again though cause I like that race over the others...they just seemed boring to play for me.
