Today while doing my random little searches, I came across some very exciting new in the pokemon world (DS!! not 3DS!!)! This does not appear to follow the core game play style, story or even that of mystery dungeon. It looks to be a whole NEW game style/play to the pokemon world! from the images in the links, it reminds me of something crossed with Final fantasy tactics and golden sun. Also, it looks like the "bosses" each are represented by a different legendary pokemon, like Mewtwo, Groudon, Zekrom, etc. As well as that, it seems there is both a male and female main character to choose from, and Eevee appears to be thier starter! also, the games looks very feudal japan.

Also: It seems like "dragon type" is FINALLY coming to the TGC! as announced by Serebii

And it appears thers is ANOTHER game scheduled to be announced later this month, many speculate it to either be a remake of Sapphire and Ruby (10yr remake), or pokemon Grey! Either or would be awsome!

and dragon type cards? That sounds potentially game-breaking, depends on how they work the weakness/resistance I guess. I think ground/fighting needed the distinction a little more, but i'm sure they'll manage. xP

Ah, it looks like one of those games similar to Fire Emblem or some FF:Tactics game. The whole, "Here is your terrain map, you can go X amount of squares, go!" I dunno, I'm not too interested in those kind of games. (we might pick it up anyways out of sheer curiosity. My dad would probably like it.)

lol Dragon counters dragon. they have a 2x weakness to other dragon types. Kind of like how pyschic are weak to psychic.

I am just really excited about the new game, the style is more to what I am use to in other game titles that I play...Like tactics, golden sun. I've wanted a pokemon game in that kind od style for a long time, so this is really exciting for me.

There's a lot about the TCG that kinda irks me, i'd imagine dragon would be weak against ice, but there's no ice-type, I don't think there's even a glaceon in the BW series of TCG! Since poison and psychic share the same type, that's kinda the reason why psychic kicks its own ass. XD; I wonder what it would've been like had they included every type element from the game...

I haven't actually gone to the dreamworld yet, or I may have once but then got lost in a forest and just turned the power off.. Lmao!

Been messing around in Photoshop while I wait for my B-day this comming saturday. Hopefully will get some more Gift cards and then buy my bamboo tablet online. (store won't get in any for a long while yet.)

Took that sawsbuck picture and made it better, and made my first Gijinka


Also working on an Eevee evolution art project, redesigning them all with heavy influences from Pokemon FR and Greyanimebeast. Hopefully will get them uploaded here and on DA. Lets just say they're aren't going to be cute or cuddely!

-pokes head in- Okay, I need some tips. I want to rebreed my Arcanine since in his current state, he's not cutting. I evolved him too early. Didn't learn Crunch and I want him to learn Heat Wave. I'm not too fond of having to wait for Growlithe to hit 51 or something just to learn Heat Wave, but I'm not too familiar with breeding. Does only one parent have to know the move or both parents?

Also, in terms of getting him ExtremeSpeed and Thunder Fang, I can indeed learn those through the move tutor should I not evolve him until a later date?

Edit: I'm also missing a second Arcanine. D: Ffffff.

I think only Male parent needs to know an egg move for it to get passed on. So Heat wave and crunch are both egg moves. Also, I think everstone plays a part in passing on a nature. I think if one of the parents has the nature you want your offspring to have, give it an everstone and it will have ?50% chance of passing it on.

I do have Wi-fi. All I need is a Growlithe or Arcanine to be bred with a ditto or another Pokemon (In case it'd have to be female). A friend of mine is going to try to search for one, but I don't know if she's having much luck. At the same time I'm hopefully close to finding a Houndour to breed. I want to start my SoulSilver game over with both Growlithe and Houndour. I need a new Arcanine anyways.

So, in SoulSilver... Yes, I've actually been playing it. More than Black, even! Lotta stuff has happened in SS, too. I've tweaked my old "Wi-Fi Team" slightly... Instead of having Porygon2, Breloom and Lanturn.. I've now punted my Entei (QUINN! <3), Floatzel (Julius~! <3 <3 <3), and my new Cresselia onto it~ And it's worked VERY well so far! My Scizor on that team also got tweaked slightly.. She now has Swords Dance instead of Brick Break. I've yet to REALLY test it out, but so far it's looking like a good move for her. Also.. Calm Mind Cresselia is SCARY. She can rip holes into things without taking much damage at all herself! *Hugs Luna* And she's adorable too! (And NO. She is NOT named after the My Little Pony character, damn it. She's only called that because, well.. It suits her, and I can't see her named anything else, considering her.. Adoptive parents, AKA Quinn the Entei and Pan the Raikou (YES XD), cause they.. Aren't exactly the best at coming up with names. So yeah. As much as I DO kinda like the Pony Luna.. Ugh. I hate the idea of naming Pokemon, especially CHARACTERS, after ponies. It's only coincidence that she has the same name, which, I might add, is a totally good name anyway. Ponies or not.)

OH! Earlier this month.. I friggen got my Gold Print from the Battle Tower in SoulSilver! I beat that idiot Palmer and his darn Legendaries! *Cackles* It took FOREVER, I might add XD I've had major problems getting up a streak that high without something terrible happening to ruin it. (Like the Claydol that completely WIPED OUT my entire team last year, and the Medicham that critted my Cresselia the day before I finally DID get up to 49 battles, thus causing my streak to again end. Though in truth, I blame myself for being careless during that battle. Oh well.)

As for my winning team? It was my Scizor, Cresselia and Suicune~ Turns out they make a pretty good team! Even IF my Suicune is my in-game one and isn't properly EV-trained. Rhythym STILL kicks ass. *Hugs Rhythym* <3


ANYWAY! I've now set out to make another team in SoulSilver too! It's an all Eeveelution team! ...This probably sounds familiar, if-- Actually, I can't even REMEMBER if I ever mentioned my old attempt at an Eeveelution team... *Goes back and looks* No, wait, I DID mention that old thing a couple times. For those that don't remember, or don't know what the crap I'm talking about.... I had this old idea of making a team of all Eeveelutions, based around my Umbreon, Ghost, and her siblings. .....This must sound kinda funny to PokeRP people, by the way XD The team totally failed, though. It never even got TRULY finished. And even if it had? Bah. It would have been a train wreck. I didn't know how to EV-train back then.. Pfft. Anyway! I'm planning on making a new one now! That is.. Again, based on Ghost's family, kinda! Cause, you know, Ghost and her family are all amazing. *Hugs the bunches of Eeveelutions, Eeveelution-hybrids, and the looking-slightly-out-of-place Rampardos, Yanmega and Darkrai* I LOVE THEM ALLLLLL <3

So, this team shall be...
Rust (Umbreon, physical tank/attacker, and TERROR OF ALL LIVING CREATURES. *Laughs* I love how some people I know are actually kinda scared of this guy. He's quite the little terror, really. Curse, Payback, Wish and Protect on an Umbreon? YESSSS. <3 (He's also the only one of this team that actually exists right now. I've had him for over a year XD))
Lyra (Espeon, Calm Minding special attacker. Was debating on whether the Espeon should be Lyra or Ariel, but I figured I should include other peoples' characters in this, cause if it had been Ariel.. All but one member of this team would be my characters. So here we have it, Azu's Espega, Lyra! <3)
Phantom (Flareon, Choice Scarfed mixed attacker. And hey look, it's Phantom! I was trying to decide what other Eeveelution to use.. Since I had all but one member of this team figured out.. And I had to decide between Glaceon and Flareon. ...I went with Flareon, cause not only is there a distinct lack of Glaceons (HOLY CRAP SUMMER I TOTALLY FORGOT YOU EXISTED UNTIL LONG AFTER DECIDING ON THE MEMBERS FOR THIS TEAM. I'M SORRY D: Then again, you aren't.. Exactly DIRECTLY related to this family, unlike.. Uhh, everyone else here XD), and well, I've been saying I need to train a new Phantom for a while now. And hey, might as well have a "generation 1" member of this family for this! So yeah. Go go Phantom!)
Copper (Jolteon, Choice Specs special attacker. Yus! It's Copper! This was an utter given, really. I mean, not only have I been meaning to get Copper in-game anyway.. But hey, she's suddenly gotten quite a bit of attention from a story point of view, so.. Yeah! And hey, she's Ghost's other kid. So yeah. It'd be stupid to not have her on this team.)
Arkose (Vaporeon, special tank/Wish and status support. ...Most of you probably don't know this guy. He's, uh, the new hybrid I posted on dA. You know, the... Vaparkrai? Uhh, I think I might have to work on that name. He's half Darkrai, half... Vapardos (Vaporeon-Rampardos). SO YEAH. He's quite the hybrid. And he doesn't even exist story-wise, yet. But I kinda love him already XD)
Shale (Leafeon, Swords Dancing physical attacker. Another new character! He's Arkose's brother, aaaaaaand my friend's character. Yep. He's kind of awesome, too. <3)

...Yes. Many.. Eeveelution-things. In truth, though, NONE of them are true Eeveelutions, since five of them are hybrids (Rust being an Umbreon/Rampardos, Lyra being an Espeon/Yanmega, Copper being a Jolteon/Rampardos, Arkose being a Darkrai/Vaporeon-Rampardos (THREE-WAY HYBRID, AAAAAUGHHHHHH), and Shale being a Darkrai/Leafeon-Rampardos.), and Phantom isn't even a Flareon anymore. He IS the closest to being a true Eeveelution out of this whole team though, since he's only a Dusk evolution of Flareon.. Smoldereon.

It's gonna take a crapton of time to get this team finished, mostly thanks to FOUR OF THEM USING HIDDEN POWER, TWO OF THEM BEING FEMALE. *Twitches* And the fact that I actually need to ACQUIRE four TMs of Hidden Power too. But I think this team is gonna work pretty well, so.. Yeah. Whoo!

Hm, is it bad to use two walling Pokemon on your team? I want to use both Vaporeon and Umbreon, but I'm not sure if you should use two walls.

Umbreon current has - Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Protect, and Moonlight.
Vaporeon has - Ice Beam, Toxic, Protect and Scald.

I REALLY don't feel like rebreeding the Vaporeon (Or the Umbreon for that matter unless someone can do it for me) since I just rebred my Arcanine. I'm also considering pulling out my Espeon in place of my Haxorus since I don't handle dragon types too well. :<

Feral the Krookodile (Earthquake, Dig, Sandstorm, Dragon Claw).

I think I need to teach Feral/Ian Stone Edge and I need to change up Basil's moveset. Apollo needs better flying type moves. I'm pretty happy with Soren and Falcon's movesets though.

Hm, is it bad to use two walling Pokemon on your team? I want to use both Vaporeon and Umbreon, but I'm not sure if you should use two walls.

Umbreon current has - Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Protect, and Moonlight.
Vaporeon has - Ice Beam, Toxic, Protect and Scald.

I say stick with that. Both are fairly good, and honestly, that Umbreon seems more attacking-focused than anything. Looks like one of MY Umbreons, in fact! Just stuff Confuse Ray in there instead of Protect.. And it's Ghost's moveset XD (She's my official "Annoyer", too. I don't use her that often against other people, but when I do.. She has a habit of annoying people so much with her Confuse Ray and Moonlight antics.)

If you're really not sure about having two walling Pokemon, you could go with a more offensive set for one of them. I know you said you don't wanna re-breed them, but.. It might be worthwhile. Vaporeon is already a fairly good special attacker, since it has quite a good special attack stat (Which a LOT of people forget about XD), while Umbreon... Weeell.. If you run a Curse/Payback/Wish/Protect set, can be the terror of all living things. At least in 4th gen. I have no idea about the set in 5th gen, and it MIIIIGHT have some trouble considering all the powerful Fighting types (Including one PARTICULARLY powerful one, who has a signature move that completely ignores any Curses the Umbreon might have used. ...This is actually MY counter to the Umbreons in the Battle Subway that use a similar set (They have Moonlight instead of Wish, I believe.)), but I think the set could still hold its own. It's pretty darn powerful once it's set up, too.

Either way, I think having both an Umbreon and Vaporeon shouldn't be a big problem. *Shrugs* Though I can see that Umbreon's set being a problem. Dark Pulse and Shadow Ball.. Are kind of redundant. As much as I do love both moves (And have them on one of MY Umbreons, but then again, she's my in-game one.), I'd say switch Shadow Ball out for something else. Maybe, uhh... *Blinks* Umbreon, you have a TERRIBLE learnset! Jeez! Uh, you could try Confuse Ray in there. And maybe Screech, too. They go well together. (You could get rid of Dark Pulse, since, well.. Umbreon has terrible special attack. I say as my prized Umbreon/favourite character is a special attacking Umbreon.. XD Though it WOULD leave you as Taunt-bait, so.. *Shrugs* Up to you.)



AND NOW... MOAR SUGGESTIONS. *Tackles Azu* I come to gief you suggestions XD (Because I feel like it, aaand.. I'm all like "Wat. Pokemon that have spam of their type's attacks in their moveset? MUST FIX!" ....Blame the fact that I've started to do some competitive battling. It's made me this waaaaaay... XD)

Right, so, I see.. A LOT of spam of STAB moves on those sets, thar. (STAB meaning "Same Type Attack Bonus", AKA.. For example, Chandelure's two STAB types are Ghost and Fire, obviously.) Aaaand that could cause problems. So, I has some ideas to fix that! :D

Serperior: It.. Really doesn't need only Grass type attacks. Granted, Serperior has a pretty terrible move pool, but still. You could try a set of Coil/Leaf Blade/Dragon Tail/Aerial Ace.
Chandelure: Again a case of having a lot of STAB moves where it's very unnecessary. Try Flamethrower (Or Fire Blast)/Shadow Ball/Energy Ball/Uhh.. Calm Mind? Psychic? (My Chandelure, Maya, has Psychic. It's proven pretty useful, so from a personal stand point.. I'd say roll with that.)
Haxorus: Looking PRETTY good there, actually. Draco Meteor is a little odd, though, since Haxorus has pretty terrible special attack, but it could catch things off guard, I suppose. You could try Dragon Dance instead, though. (I'd actually say go for that, buuut.. Up to you.)
Carracosta: Again, looking pretty good. I agree with teaching it Stone Edge, though. Put that instead of one of those Water attacks, I'd say you're good~! :D
Braviary: First off.. *Hugs the pretty Shiny Braviary* Go go Shiny Braviaries! Anyway. Yet again looking pretty good. If he has Sheer Force as an ability, I'd say give him Crush Claw instead of Thrash, since it gets the boost from Sheer Force and doesn't lock him into one move. You could get rid of either Brave Bird or Fly and give him Bulk Up instead, too. (...Essentially, I'm kinda giving you MY Shiny Braviary's moveset, here. It's Bulk Up/Fly/Crush Claw/Superpower. I've found it to work VERY well <3)
Krookodile: Aaaand now we're back to spam of.. Okay, not EXACTLY STAB attacks, but Ground moves. Sandstorm.. To put it lightly.. Needs to go die in a fire XD It's useless, essentially. Give it Stone Edge instead, aaand give it Crunch (Omnomnom, Dark type STAB~) in place of Dig.

There's a mistake in that moveset. My Umbreon does indeed have Confuse Ray. (Why did I type Protect?) I considered putting Payback on her, but the problem I'm running into is rebreeding. I don't have the Pokemon to rebreed and I'm not sure I have the patience to level them up once they're there too. >.< My Umbreon would be Payback/Dark Pulse/Moonlight/Confuse Ray. I'll go ahead and use both of them.

I just to need choose that final team member that may either be an Espeon (Reflect/Light Screen/Physic/Hidden Power)... Although the problem is his Hidden Power is... Steel. I also have a Tauros I can train up with Return/Rock Slide/Zen Headbutt/Stone Edge. Although I need to FIND the TMs for those. That option could be an Absol, but I'm not entirely sure.

I will take allll the suggestions. I've been trying for a long time to beat my RL friend who has this team of nightmares. If I vow to take your team down, I will one day. My other friend knows that all too well.

Ah, okay. STAB. I had one of my friends mention that to me, though I was kind of like, "lol totally know what that means not really hahaha."

In response to your comments for each member...

Serperior: Dragon Tail's a new one, that's a good plan for my friend's pesky Glaceon when I want a bit of space to breathe. I was running Aerial Ace, though it seemed sort of useless to me. I'll also cross-reference with Smogon to see if they can offer me anything nifty as well. (Though I figure you might have also poked Smogon for info. xD) I do agree with you on Leaf Blade, that's my favorite move when it comes to using him.
Chandelure: Definitely holding onto Shadow Ball and Flamethrower, Fire Blast has lesser accuracy so I suppose I can switch that out to cover water types...And Psychic. Oooooh psychic. <3 Good suggestion there, I just need to hunt it down.
Haxorus: Definitely agree with you in which Draco Meteor is kind of useless. I'm thinking of leveling her the last six levels I need so I can get Outrage, it looks preeeeetty damn devastating. (My Carracosta's the only one who can handle a hit from Outrage rather well.) I did pick up Dragon Dance for now, though I regret it since I blew my Heart Scale and I realize now I needed it for Crunch. Stupid me.
Braviary: Nope, Apollo has Keen Eye, unfortunately. Which means I'll likely go with what Smogon says, where I'll run Fly/Brave Bird/Superpower/Return or Rock Slide, the latter because raising my bird's happiness will be a chore, and Rock Slide's bound to be a startling choice for whatever I throw him up against.
Carracosta: Yup, Ian the Tanky Turtle has been set up as he should, and he's good to kill.
Krookodile: I've replaced Sandstorm as per your suggestion,though I need Heart Scales for crunch, so I'm meandering Unova now to see if I missed any somewhere. Obviously, Sandstorm has been replaced with Stone Edge.

Another big predicament I have is items. I've been told mostly to run Choice Bands or Scarves. Is that so? And does that mean I need to Battle Subway forever and ever? D:
