Any idea if you're given the option to change faction? 'cause I like the looks of Jedi Consular the most. XD

Heh you're welcome to pretend that you're a Jedi Consular thats fallen into the Cool Side (Dark Side) and learned the art of Force Lightning.

I myself will probably roll a Jedi at some point, but SITH appealed to the masses that wanted to create this guild. By masses I mean myself and Saturo and a few others. But yeah....

You'd be welcome Feli to try out SITH on whatever server we'll get placed on, even if it would be only for your "alt" if you like Republic better

You could open a sister chapter on the Jedi side called "We Have Milk" for people who want to indulge their inner angel... :P

Maybe once the game comes out, I would have to create a whole new profile and a whole new guild and yadda yadda yadda, would just be too much work right now.

Plus they havent even given us a release date yet, jerks

Preorder up right now!!!!

http://www.swtor.com/news/news-article/ ... 1311237930

That may have pasted weird since I'm on my mobile right now

Likely a release date is going to be released by the weekend. The digital codes preordered expire December 2012 so I think it's at least coming out before then

I've waited for this game patiently since 2008, I've been a part of their community since mid-2009. I've given feedback, and participated in polls and threads. I've kept my faith for Bioware strong, believing that they would provide a game that's worth playing, I've spoken up for them against the RL nay-sayers I know, and guess what?

I live in a redzone, and will not be able to pre-order a game, and possibly not even play it at launch. So far the developers have said that IP blocking won't be happening, but if we somehow manage to cough up around 150 Dollars on one game (we were going to order two), we will most likely be faced with latency issues. We may not be able to pay via credit card either, which is a bit of an issue as Pay Pal doesn't work properly in Croatia.

Segregating half of Europe? Charming. What gets me the most, is that Italy, Austria and Hungary are all in the greenzone, but Croatia, which is merely a few hours' drive from all these nations (and a damn sight closer to Ireland than Hungary), is not.

I have to paste this here, courtesy of Mia_Sig on the SWTOR forums.

I never thought I would feel so disappointed in Bioware. I'm not sure I'll be playing this game even if it becomes available, this sort of segregation is demeaning and disgusting.

Was it watching the trailer with the smuggler who basically looked JUST like a young Harrison Ford? He was pretty BA

Ugh I'm sorry to see this. Pfft, they dont even have my ancestorial country of Slovenia included either. You said Croatia has Paypal problems, would you be able to preorder from another country by chance? (I dont really know the limitations or how that works exactly).

Hopefully come release it will be more global, maybe only certain countries they were able to get preorder authorizations or licenses out.

People on Facebook were saying the collectors edition is like 150$ D: I couldn't ever imagine paying that much for one game, so I'll probably pre-order the cheap one.

And do you have a link to that smuggler vid? cause I didn't get to see it D:

@Mozag you can't have someone from your home country pre-order it? You could always digitally download it and play couldn't you? And you can't buy the game time codes where you live? D:

Sounds like a huge hassle ack.

Since there won't be an IP block, we should be able to pre-order the game and play it at launch just like everyone else. They are just warning people in the redzone of possible latency issues. The main problem with this is that while we can certainly order the game via Amazon, etc., once import taxes and postage is payed, one game will go up to a ridiculous sum of money. With Croatian paychecks, we won't be able to afford them.

Luckily I DO have friends in "acceptable" countries, and a brother in the UK who can get us the game, but once again, we'll need to wait for him/them to receive it, send it to us, pay for the postage and then hope it gets to us within a week and doesn't get lost on the way.

As for digital download, I believe this was another of the contentious issues. I may be mistaken, but I understood that their current stance is that we can't download the game digitally from these countries either, at least to begin with. Game cards I don't have any idea about, will they be distributed to these second-rate nations? If not, we have to order them from Amazon as well, and the p&p will cost more than the game card.

And both the husband and I were looking forward to this so much. :(

Oh I'll go Sith alright. :D Imperial Agent (first choice) or SI as a main, depending on whether or not they will include Imps for the Rattataki race. :)
See you months after launch! :D

Also. Consular. <3
And Smuggler. <3

Wait: what happened to "I'm not sure I'll play..."
