A good medieval strategy game?
A good medieval strategy game?
Watching game of thrones has put me in the mood to play a Medieval war game like Lords Of the Relm 2. Anyone have any suggestions?

The 3rd was the best, imo, one of the best games in the industry's history, but the newest one, 6th, is pretty close as well.Redith wrote:The first one? Or any of them?TygerDarkstorm wrote:Heroes of Might and Magic.
It's not exactly medieval though, it's a fantasy M&M universe, just one faction is humans, and even them have a fair share of magical creatures.

from the titles mentioned, I've played only Age of Empires II though, but it was very good (the whole series is a classic of the genre too).

Age of Empires II I would say is the best medieval set strategy game I have ever played. It may be old but it still holds up well imo.

Aye, the 3rd Heroes of Might and Magic is the best game in the series, but it doesn't run so hot on newer computer systems. Ubisoft did a decent job with Heroes of Might and Magic VI. Though yes, it does err a little more on the fantasy side but I enjoy the games a lot. :3
