Sorry to quote myself but if you guys aren't using the above patches already I would strongly suggest you do. They fixed pretty much every glitch I've experience since the patches were released. Including the mid air swimming glitch. Although mine never got as high as yours Rhyela. The main glitch I encountered which SUCKED was not being able to absorb dragon souls. I am not saying these are a cure all but they cover a lot.

I used that horse armor mod way back too. Loved how frost looks.

There's also USLEEP, or the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch so you don't have to download and manage four different patches if you have all the DLC The separate Unofficial Patches are more for if you're missing certain DLCs, like how I was with Hearthfire for the longest time

I'd say if you already have background for him, keep your Altmer since you've already got a bit of backstory for him and he ties into a character that you already have. ^^

Ehe I've gone on a spree kinda

Started a new toon that will only be fighting with battle staffs, dug up an old save file for my vision impaired little khajiit , been working on Arundil and Ameridin as well as Idris and Syndal.

I'll look into the USLEEP mod when I get home from work.

I use Nexus mod manager. It's really user friendly to me. So the multiple patches are piece of cake to run. I also play through Steam so not sure if that's a factor or not.

Side note: Everyone! Send good thoughts!!! My husband may help me buy a new laptop!!!! Fingers crossed!

for immersion I have three mods that come highly recommended.

Frostfall - allows your character to react to the weather, hypothermia etc, if it goes too far you can even die. I don't use it myself but it seems interesting.

Wet and Cold - adds textures to armors and clothing, if it snows you'll eventually look like a walking snowman, if you're wet your clothes/armor drips and so on.

Realistic needs and diseases - adds the need to sleep,eat and such along with altered symptoms for various diseases.

Lets hope he relents Zed

If you're using Steam for it, it's F12 I do believe ^^

I use use skse, I think it's possible to set your own buttons, I have regular skyrim through steam and printscreen works fine for saving your screencaps in the game folder, I think f12 saves screencaps on steam.

I use SKSE and PrintScrn works for me.

I do have those patches installed, though separately. That's the only time a follower has done that. On a somewhat related note, I uninstalled Horses for Followers. It never worked quite right, I suspect because I already had Frost and then acquired Shadowmere. The dialogue to buy a horse for a follower never appeared, the ledger didn't work, and eventually the second horse stopped spawning on fast travel. It was wonky from the get-go, so oh well.

I ended up accepting Harkon's "reward". I will say that VL is very powerful, and it does feel pretty cool. I'll post some pics later.

I settled on Arundil since he had a role already kind of as Ameridin's cousin, he's joined the imperial army, just finished the civil war questline on him.

I finally got my followers to work again! Hooray !!!
anywho, huge picture warning.

So I continued my adventure from where I had left off on this save file looong ago. I knew how to get through the areas pretty quickly, since I have done it all before. I knew all that was going to be happening so I was just kinda doin' my thing.
What I didn't expect was for my cutscene thingy to just kinda.. Uh. Stop. I don't want to spoil too much for those that haven't played. But it was the one have to watch to learn a special shout.
The dragon in the scene just stood there and stared at me. He was rather big o_o and I don't know why. My dragon sizes mod was disabled, or at least I'm pretty sure they are!

He's either really hungry or really friendly.

Anywho, after a few resets I was able to fix the issue and was able to continue on my way.
Waiting for me down the stairs was my beloved mount, Tina.



Had to make a stop at Whiterun to talk to the king dude. Thought it would be a good chance to take a shot of my Follower. He actually doesn't have a name. I just call him 'Hun' or 'Sweets' XD

I downloaded a mod for a race called 'Lykaios' a long time ago. It's still applied to my mod manager, but I can not find it again or update it from teh manager. It seems like it was removed from the Nexus. I have no idea. All I know is it still works for me, and I'm happy for that x3


...I kinda forgot what I named her ._. I'm sure it's Bowno. IDK. I'm so dumb.


While running about to do quests, I ran into this cutie ;D He's from the Pets of Skyrim mod.

I had at one point had a dog like this as a follower, but they keep barking all the time and it really freaks me out when I'm trying to sneak around @_@;


I couldn't help but take a shot of the night sky. It's so beautiful. ;.;

Neat mods! That wolf mount is super sick! :O

So this vampire appearance mod I downloaded makes my eyes change from glowing after using VL form, to being red when I transition to a new place or wake up or whatevs. I have the option to remove the red eyes and just let them glow all the time, which I may do since it's a little jarring seeing eyes that are more humanoid than dunmer. But at the same time, I kinda like being different. Argh!

The mod also gives my mouth some blood after feeding on someone. I think it looks pretty awesome.

I need help! Can't stop taking screen shots! I also made a new character and I'm not sure why, since I haven't even beat the game yet on Thrana. I was originally planning on making my next character a redguard lady (or maybe dude), but I kinda like the orc ladies too. They need the loves!







(Poo...I just realized I forgot to give Shiraz a scar. I can always change that later though. )

Also, something really weird happened when I went to start a new playthrough. In the beginning sequence where you're in the carriage, the thing was bouncing around all over the place and slightly to the left of the horse. When it was finally time to get off, we dismounted up in the sky and fell to the ground, and then I got stuck on a wall and couldn't walk over to Hadvar. Very weird. Thankfully, I still have the very first save, right before you're asked to make your character. So, I'll just use that for future playthroughs.

Yeah, some mods really screw with the cart physics for the first cutscene; mine does the same thing yours does and I've yet to find a fix for it other than wiping all my mods which I'm not gonna do I just disabled all my mods, got to the save right after you get off the cart but before you make your character, and I've kept that one specifically if I want to make any new characters so I 1.) don't have to sit thru the cart ride and 2.) so the cart doesn't keep glitching out on me.

I have a save file just right before Hadvar goes "Who are you?" and it pans to the character creation since I too had the cart issue in the beginning and couldn't figure out which of my mods were to blame as well.

I have the Lykaios race mod downloaded too I love the race but never really managed to click with any characters I made. I have a Daghi-raht and Ohmes-raht race mods installed as well as more shades for argonians and a weird ass race called Myrian.

Does vampire work on Lykaios? I remember something about it not working right but perhaps that was a different race.
