Saurian is a project of video game where you play a dinosaur from hatchling to adult, trying to survive in an open world where all others dinosaurs try to survive too. Contrary to most games (I'm looking at you Ark), they try to be as accurate as possible, for dinosaurs, for the environment, even for the weather !
I find it sound great.


The kickstarter started a few hours ago, and already almost half backed !

I play the Isle so I heard about it through there, definitely looking forward to it and wish I could donate but money is too tight right now :/

Good news everyone !I think I perfected a plague that wi Saurian is already founded ! You can still donate to go to one of the stretch goals (Genetic variant skins and spectator mode are already reached. Next one is character customization !) and to have your own rewards for backing of course.

I think it looks and sounds very interesting. I'm all for more dinosaur games!

I read about this the other day and I'm considering backing it (only $15 for the reward to own a copy of the game on Steam Early Access, and the full edition when it's eventually released). One concern I have is that there's no minimum requirements listed yet so there's a good chance I wouldn't be able to run it, but that wouldn't put me off supporting it. I think what they can show off looks great so far and if it will really be as detailed as they say then it'll be awesome.

Only 8 days left to support it for those that are interested in doing so.

On E3, the Ark devs announced something like this as an official full-conversion mod for Ark, looked really interesting.

I can really recommend you Ark anyway, it's still early access, but it's already a huge game, almost ready, and the devs are doing their jobs keeping to the timetable. It's set for a release later this year.
