*SPOILERS AHEAD*

...that thinks the new Necromancer male (at least in the trailer) looks vaguely, but somehow very noticeably, like Arthas in many ways? He doesn't have the upper body mass we are used to seeing with the LK armor being worn, but still his facial features and hair seem eerily similar to Arthas's, like how he might have looked if Arthas had reached middle age physically instead of being the LK.

I don't know, maybe it's just because they are both work heavily with animating the dead, the Necro's costume, and they're both made by the same company.

I think it's just the great influence by Arthas/Lich King figure. I mean back to the day when WoW WotLK first came out, it was like a bomb and I remembered that people really, really love that expansion. The Arthas/Lich King figure is somehow a great "idol" of Blizzard's Universe, alongside with other characters like Kerrigan, Zeratul, or Diablo.
Before Arthas, we already had Necromancer with similar features - white hair, bleak skin. Though I gotta agree partly with you, it's possible that Blizzard used a bit of Arthas's feature to create this new Necromancer appearance.
