Burning Steppes again (the zone should be renamed the Lost Rares Home.

Chiaa (ID 50792) - level 53 Rare - Wind Serpent. Look: windserpentskinoutland2 (the unused yellow Outland wind serpent!). Location: 35,26 (on a rise on the northern border, north-east of Blackrock Stronghold).

*slides a single gold coin on a red warpie in that general area* Burnyyyyyy!

IT'S MY KISMET. OMG, precious baby, you will come home soon. <3 This is the best find for me personally, after the disappointment of the yellow serpents being taken out of MoP. Squeeee!

Heading a bit further east along the northern border of Burning Steppes:

Jaxx the Rabid (ID 50855) - level 52 Rare - Hyena. Look: either hyenaskin or hyenaskinorange (confirmed with Noah that it was the latter)). Location: 47,24 (on a rise due west of Flame Crest).

Shhh, let rabid hyaenas lie...

And just when I thought I'd run out of rares in Burning Steppes:

Azelisk (ID 50725) - level 51 Rare - Ravager. Look: crawlerelite_orange (orange-red elite ravager). Location: 73,23 (on a rise on the northern border, north of Dreadmaul Rock).

Image

Believe it or not, I had no idea BS had all these rares. I saw nothing in Blasted Lands and thought I'd give that zone a try instead. Surely this has to be the last of them now.

Whew, I hope it's the last! I'm almost done updating the front post. Azelisk is an incredibly cool name, and Jaxx is so cute! Despite being, you know. Rabid.

Just over the border into Badlands.

Another ravager. Geez, they're really travelling these days. Outland airfares must be cheap.

Needlefang (ID 50731) - level 47 Rare - Ravager. Look: crawlergreen (standard green ravager, already a couple of other NPCs with this colour). Location: 51,73 (on a rise on the southern border, south-east of Agmond's End.

While they're not new models or colorations (lower level versions of elitecrawler model)..

Dat ravager love.

By the way, Wain - did you check out the eels yet? As far as I know, they share skeleton with the arcane wyrms so I guess it's worth a try. Well, I'm on my way to try it now.

How would the eels survive out of water? xD Or for that matter move.

(and no, I haven't checked out the eels. I will but I'd be shocked if they were tameable)
