There are a few pet families that never had particularly fitting icons. Mostly they'd been created before suitable icons had existed, and had never updated later. So some have now changed :
Porcupines:
Inv_Pet_Porcupine (Petopia already used this icon, but in the game they used a boar icon!)
Foxes:
Ability_Hunter_AspectOfTheFox (again, Petopia already used this icon, but in the game they used a weird blue abstract icon).
Beetles:
INV_Misc_AhnQirajTrinket_01. It still looks a bit like a piece of jewellery, but it's a lot more realistic than the previous stone scarab icon.
Quilen:
Achievement_Moguraid_01. One live it uses a lion like the cat family.
Water striders:
INV_Pet_WaterStrider. On live they just use a blue "mote" icon.
Cranes:
Ability_Mount_CraneMountBlue. The icon has armour on it but it's the best available at the moment. On live they use a green abstract icon with a crane claw print in it.
Sadly there aren't any decent shale spider or basilisk icons that could be used for those families.
Oh, also, if you're into minipets, "Legs" from Children's Week, now has a proper spore walker icon instead of a sporebat one:
