Isle of the Thunder King tames

So currently, it's possible to get to the Isle of the Thunder King by getting yourself killed in the new LFRs, release spirit and then use the spirit ress...

Still searching for more tameables, but there's a new raptor skin. The mob itself is called the Fierce Anklebiter. It seems they used one of the baby raptor skins on the normal raptor model... I like him! :)

EDIT: Found 2 of the Devilsaurs, the dark one seems to be bugged at the moment and is flagged as an Elemental. Will add a SS of him soon... The one I took had a real IDs friends name in the chat log who doesnt want his name shown. Ooops ^^

That "fierce anklebiter" must be one of those "compies" we've heard about. Are they as big as that little corpse on that screenshot?

Yep, and they don't have a lot of health either... They run around in a group, so when I tamed mine he killed his own friend :( /sad

EDIT: Ahhh I wasn't sure what you meant by compies but JUST found these; appearantly, these ones are Humanoids??? Silly PTR!

I don't mean to complain, but I hope that raptor is a placeholder for the "compies" I mean, not only does it look a little freakish, but I was hoping compies would look different than raptors, and not a science experiment gone horribly wrong.

GUYS
I FOUND DIREHORNS
I CAN TAME THEM IN SURVIVAL SPEC

Obviously, this is the PTR, so things can change, especially since patch notes mentioned a required ability. But yeah. There it is.
Pet abilities are a little buggy at the moment as in pets dont get all their abilities, but the armor plating is in!

I just hope they at least get some other ability, that was the main reason I wanted them to be exotic. Three horns, a tail club...some form of a stun...

Ooh. They look very nice at that size. Not stupidly small, and not HUUUGE either.

Thanks! <3

The stun would likely be equivalent to a wasp's stun, etc.

They do not want to make any pet "required" by giving them overpowered abilities. :P

Eeee, those raptors have Ohgan'aka's skin! Now if hunters want to grow up their baby, they can!

*mutters several curses about RL eating her still* Will check this out when I get back! Thank you again for the heads up. :)

Nice to see the new info. Glade to know we where right about dire horns being the triceratops.

Like the new skins on devilsaurs.

I think the raptors will be shrunken in time and flagged as not tamable.

I got a feeling Dire Horns will become exotic since you need a 'special ability' to tame them. Honestly, least in my opinion, they seem to be more of an exotic feel than just any person with a bow than tame these creatures and it'd make no sense to have Devilsaurs be exotic but not Dire Horns.

Oh gosh I may need room for another raptor now. Its like Ohgan'aka's (I call her Sin) has grown up! I have the pet, the mount and the armored pet so this would be like...her in the teen years! xD

I now claim this Dire Horn as mine and only mine.
It is my Zuniceratops. It is my bb. It is my precious!

EDIT: By the way, what spec is it?

As in their default spec when you tame them? Tenacity

That's a pretty clever find! Well done. :)

The skin use for the raptor feels slightly like a placeholder to me, but only time will tell. I'm kinda wishful for a whole new raptor skin in likeness to the new devilsaur ones? Maybe? Pretty please? :D I have to agree about the good size of the direhorn; I really hope they keep them around what it is right now.
